The Twilight Forest mod will add a new dimension to the game - a forest with very tall trees, in which darkness and fog always reign, and if you can climb up, you will enjoy an excellent view - a whole sea of tree crowns, above which the bright sun shines.
In addition to the new dimension, many new mobs and items will also be added to the game, making the game even more interesting. On this page you can download the Twilight Forest mod for Minecraft 1.7.2, 1.7.10 and older versions 1.5.2 and 1.6.4! For it to function, you must have Forge installed.

The Twilight Forest is an endlessly generated world, which is similar to an ordinary one. But this is one of the few similarities. This dimension, at its core, is a huge clot of magic and unnaturalness. You will not be able to experience such a unique atmosphere anywhere else.
The sky here is always dim and dark. The solid dome of foliage is occasionally pierced only by those giants that prop up the sky itself. The terrain is changeable and unpredictable; giant mountains give way to endless plains; here - a corner of paradise, there - a dungeon exuding evil. Countless treasures await the persistent, but remember the first rule of the Twilight Forest - once you get lost, you can never come back.
Let's move on to the features.
1) "Ironed World"
To make room for giant trees, the base height of the world has been adjusted. The relief has been lowered, now the player is separated from the void by about 30 blocks. The generation of hills and dungeons has also been changed.
2) New biomes
A total of 7 new biomes have been added. Most of them are easy to detect as they have characteristic features. You can't confuse a swamp with a glacier, can you? :) Also, there are mushroom biomes overgrown with giant mushrooms, and special transitional biomes (seeing a colossal glacier or mountain in the center of a swamp would sometimes be unpleasant).
3) Wood Ocean
Trees, trees, trees. Both new and old, from the ordinary world. Once in the Twilight Forest, you cannot help but notice their impressive size.
4) Legacy of the Ancients
The Twilight Forest is as old as the universe and has seen the rise and fall of countless civilizations. One way or another, everything comes to an end. But even time is difficult to hide all traces. In this inhospitable world you can find about half a dozen different structures that were left behind by peoples who disappeared into oblivion.
5) Hollow Hills
Get ready to experience professional mountaineering. After all, the ore that is scattered in the crevices is already waiting. In addition, sometimes you can come across treasure chests. Hollow hills can come in different sizes. The larger the hill, the higher the chance of getting rich properly. But we shouldn’t forget about monsters either.
6) New dangers
The surface of the Twilight Forest looks quite peaceful, however, this is by no means the case. Places where the sun's rays do not penetrate are infested with goblins, ghosts, spiders and other evil spirits. The remnants of the ancient Order of Druids will do everything to prevent you from returning home.
7) Labyrinths
Labyrinths grow in places where there is always fog and dead silence. Their labyrinthine corridors promise great riches for brave adventurers. The lucky ones return, bent under the weight of the spoils. However, more often than not, only a scream breaks the silence. Heartbreaking, full of despair and pain. Labyrinths do not forgive mistakes.
Sometimes, quite rarely, and always in a whisper, mysterious individuals know about the existence of another type of labyrinth. About the labyrinths that lurk deep underground. Everything is quite lengthy, however, one thing is clear: those who are lucky enough to survive will own untold treasures.
8) Monstrous bosses
One is massive, the other is ethereal. On your travels you may meet one of them.
Magical forces of genuine power keep the serpentine Naga in chains in the courtyard of a dilapidated temple. There is no way to defeat him without proper preparation. It's best for you to stock up on diamond armor.
The Lich lives at the very top of the Tower of Mages. He is one of the few remaining signs of the former greatness of the Twilight Masters on this earth, and has a lot of unpleasant surprises for you.

Jar with firefly
Naga Scale
The scales are dropped by Naga himself. You won’t be able to eat it, but you can create armor. Keep in mind, you can only make a breastplate and leggings.
Twilight Scepter
This mysterious weapon shoots fireballs. Can be charged with Enderman pearls.
Scepter of Draining Life
Is your health almost at zero? Perhaps you are hungry? Just point this thing at the mob and drink all the vital juices from it. Feel how the magic of Darkness flows into your body. It's wonderful, I assure you! All scepters meet environmental standards and are approved by the Lich. :) You can charge such a scepter with pickled spider eyes.
Scepter of Summoning the Dead
Don't let the Lich get all the zombies! With this scepter you can summon them with your own hands. The summoned zombies are mega-strong, mega-fast, and are ready to punish your enemies. Zombies will follow you, and attack what you attack, what attacks you, and even what only intends to attack you. Summoned zombies will live for about a minute.
You can't summon too many zombies with this scepter, but it can be recharged with a piece of rotten flesh and a potion of strength.
Magic Card
This map covers an area four times larger than the normal one. In addition, this map displays the features of certain territories. 
If you want to update the map, that is, erase all explored territories from it, simply combine it with a piece of paper in the crafting window. 
Labyrinth Map
This map is designed to prevent you from getting lost in the corridors of the labyrinth. As with regular maps, you can use it to look through walls, however, the labyrinth map will only show you the layer you are on (for example, the 11th). 
But perhaps you want such a map to tell you where ores and treasures are buried? No problem, just one small upgrade needed.

Iron tree and new items
While exploring the caves, you may stumble upon roots dotted with mysterious greenish veins. By collecting these roots with an axe, you can obtain an item called "wood of life." Such wood has powerful magical properties; by combining it with an iron ingot, a gold nugget, and melting it in a furnace, you can make armor and tools from the resulting ingots. The magic of life seeps even into finished items, so they always turn out enchanted for some useful effect.
Goblin workbench
The main difference between such a workbench and a regular one is a new slot, which opens up new methods for manipulating the objects you have. If this slot is empty, you can use it like a regular workbench. But the slot, being filled with something, will allow you to take advantage of functions such as “reverse crafting”, “repair” and “smelting”! 
Once you've explored the Overworld, Hell, and the End, it's time to move on. The Twilight Forest mod for Minecraft 1.12.2 takes players to the Twilight Forest dimension, where monsters with scary bosses live. Unusual items, ores and structures are generated there. It will take many hours to explore this place, because the developers have dedicated years of their lives to the project. Get ready to unravel mysteries, fight the Lich, Hydra, Naga and other monsters.
Forest biomes are not like the usual cubic world. Giant trees and beautiful plants grow here. The thickets hide ruins: destroyed towers or fortresses.
You will visit a cloud castle, a green labyrinth and underground buildings. Enhanced equipment and artifacts are hidden in treasuries.
The regions are divided into small peninsulas. The map can show the location of bosses and buildings.

New biomes
7 new biomes have been added, some of them very rare to find. Some biomes change the landscape so that you immediately know you're in them.

Ancient ruins and structures
The Twilight Forest has existed for thousands of years, it has been home to many civilizations that have risen and fallen, all of them gone into oblivion, leaving behind buildings and... themselves as monsters! There are currently about 12 new types of ruins and structures in the world. They are designed so that the player can feel the mysticism of this world.
Hollow Hills
You can see these hollow hills if you climb into the cover of tall trees. But be prepared that exploring these hollow hills will be very dangerous! It's very dark in them... but that's not what you should be afraid of, it's the monsters you should be afraid of!
