Call of Duty: WWII is a return to basics. Guide and secrets of Call of Duty: WW2 - Which division to choose? Weapon variety is the key to more experience

On average, it will take you 6-7 hours to complete Call of Duty: WWII, not including credits. Not much, but the question still arises, how many missions are there in Call of Duty: WWII, in this guide I’ll talk about it. Beware - spoilers!!!

There are a total of 11 story missions in Call of Duty: WW2. Here is the list:

  1. Normandy - saving private Ryan on Omaha Beach, it's clear. At the end, Zusman is wounded.
  2. Operation Cobra is a classic shoot-'em-up set in Norman hedgerows and crossroads towns.
  3. Marigny - we take a town with guess what name, heroically capture the church, it is demolished under the renovation program right with the player inside. Tension rises between the bad, bad Sergeant Pearson and Private Zusman. Pearson considers Zusman a useless schmuck who returned to duty too soon after being wounded. Wow.
  4. The train mission introduces us to the operatives of the British top-secret office SOE = SOE (Special Operations Executive) Edgar Crowley and Vivian. They run into a German armored train carrying V-2 missiles to Paris. While the protagonist of the previous missions, Daniels, is freaking out about their (the British, not the rockets) skyscraper coolness, the Soevites find archival IDs on the train. The French partisan Rousseau appears and proposes a cunning plan to use these papers.
  5. Wolf's Lair - liberation of Paris in August 1944. We play as the strong, independent and epic partisan Russo. Consists of two parts. In the first of them, together with Crowley, you need to dress up in a Nazi uniform and play role-playing games to infiltrate the German headquarters in the capital of France. The mission includes unique gameplay mechanics such as interacting with German soldiers. The second part is, in fact, the liberation of Paris together with the SOE and the resistance.
  6. Aachen - war has come to German soil. Aachen is the first German city occupied by the Allies. A very intense urban battle, they say. Let's see. Or not, if you don't care, but then I don't know why you're reading this. Development of the conflict between the characters Turner (good) and Pearson (bad). In the trailer, Turner punched Pearson in the face, if you remember, so let's stock up on popcorn. German civilians appear. Previously there was information about a certain German family, perhaps they will be just at this level. There will be some kind of dramatic incident with them.
  7. Hurtgen Forest - clearing the way for an allied convoy in the Hurtgen Forest on the German-Belgian border. The optimistic tone set by the first missions begins to give way to... pessimistic, I guess. This battle has earned the cute epithet “Death Factory”, and plunges us headlong into a brutal battle with the enemy, harsh weather and frozen mud. The Nazis detonate bombs in the treetops, pelting the Allies with shrapnel made from shards of wood.
  8. Height 493 - we take the height where enemy artillery is dug in. Tension within the squad is growing very strongly, which will further have serious consequences. Oh yeah, the mission is inspired by the movie Hamburger Heights.
  9. Operation of the Bulge -
  10. Ambush -
  11. Rhine -

The player has the opportunity to collect battle mementos as you and your squad advance from the beaches of Normandy all the way to the Rhine. In this article, we will tell you the locations of all these collectibles.

Why collect souvenirs in COD: WWII?

Souvenirs (Mementos) are needed for the collection. After finding all 33 souvenirs, you will unlock the “Pieces of History” trophy (achievement) (PS4 version).

Where can I find all the souvenirs?

Below you can see an example of one of the collectible memorabilia from the Call of Duty: WW2 campaign. And these items can be found in all missions, there are 33 of them in total, and then you can find out all the places where they are waiting for you.

Mission 1: D-Day

Souvenir No. 1 - German knife (Nazi Knife). You can find this souvenir after you pass the beach and enter the trenches. The knife lies in one of the pillboxes right before the exit from the trenches.

Souvenir No. 2 - Compass. Immediately after successfully clearing the third bunker, you have to go back a little. But before proceeding to the fourth fortification, turn left and walk a little forward along the trench. You should come to a door that was previously closed, but now you can get inside and pick up supplies and another souvenir.

Souvenir No. 3 - Pathfinder Patch. After successfully destroying the artillery, look into the barn directly behind the remains of the enemy guns.

Mission 2: Operation Cobra

Souvenir No. 4 - Lighter. At the very beginning of the mission you will be asked to sit on a tank. Instead, turn right and go towards the two soldiers guarding the fuel. To the left of them there will be a lighter on the barrel.

Souvenir No. 5 - Pocket Watch. Shortly before you spot an enemy anti-aircraft gun and have to occupy it, you will pass a small area where there is a lone wooden shack on the left side. There is a pocket watch waiting for you on the table.

Souvenir No. 6 - Gas Mask. At that moment in the mission, when you have to follow the tank, hiding behind it from enemy bullets, wait for the moment when it destroys the enemy bunker to your right. In the ruins of this fortification you can pick up a gas mask from a corpse.

Mission 3: Citadel

Souvenir No. 7 - Locket. In the Nazi-occupied abandoned house that is right in front of you at the very beginning of the mission, this souvenir is on the top floor. We go up the stairs at the back of the house, face the children's bedroom and turn left, where the medallion will hang on the remains of the wall.

Souvenir No. 8 - SS Pin. Once you're inside the church, stand in front of the ammo box and turn right. There in the alcove in a small recess lies the SS badge.

Souvenir No. 9 - Fuel Canister. After you leave the church, you will have to fight off waves of Nazis. Turn right from where the enemy is attacking from and walk along the barricades. The canister will lie directly on the ground.

Mission 4: USO

Souvenir No. 10 - Poster (White Rose Poster). At the beginning of the mission, after you exit the first house, immediately turn left. There will be a poster in a barrel in the backyard, guarded by a couple of enemies.

Souvenir No. 11 - Dog Collar. Not far from the first souvenir lies the second. In the next house, go to the very end, where there is a piano. Opposite him on the table will be a dog collar.

Souvenir No. 12 - Rocket Blueprint. After you leave the area with the burning train, in the next area, which is covered in grass and untouched by the flames, you need to climb up a hill where a dog will attack you. Don't rush up there, as this will end the mission. Therefore, go to the right side of this area, there you should find a box on which the drawings will lie.

Mission 5: Liberation

Souvenir No. 13 - Propaganda Poster. At the very beginning of the mission, after checking your documents, go to the reception hall. There you have to find a gray door next to the window, behind which the toilets are hidden. In one of the booths there will be a poster on the floor.

Souvenir No. 14 - Liquor Bottle. After installing the explosives, turn to face the truck, and to your right there should be a locked door (to the left there is a door behind which you can find and save the German who supplied us with this explosive), which our heroine can break open. We enter the building and, avoiding encounters with enemies, go up to the second floor, where in the nearest room there will be a souvenir on a suitcase.

Souvenir No. 15 - German Medal. After crossing the large barbed wire bridge, you will be able to pick up a medal from one of the crates in front of you.

Mission 6: Collateral Damage

Souvenir No. 16 - Music Sheet. After the end of the tank ride, as soon as you run on your own two feet again, you will find yourself on a narrow street. Follow it and turn left at the first turn. There is your souvenir on the piano here.

Souvenir No. 17 - Cigarette Box. When you get to a house where you can perform a feat (save a comrade from a Nazi). We need to get to the second floor through a hole in the ceiling, climbing an embankment made from the remains of wooden structures. The souvenir itself lies at the far end of the floor, where we must get through the rubble.

Souvenir No. 18 - Hotel Pen. After you blow up the hotel wall, go inside and go to the room on the right. There will be a pen on one of the folders on the table.

Mission 7: Death Factory

Souvenir No. 19 - German Flare Gun. Once you reach an area with several snipers and three trucks in the middle of the forest, you can pick up a flare gun on one of the boxes behind the truck.

Souvenir No. 20 - Food Container. When you are alone and meet the dead pilot hanging from a tree, then go a little further to find the cabin of the fallen plane. It will contain a food container.

Souvenir No. 21 - US Army Rations. After eliminating the sniper, return back to the stairs, but do not rush down. From the upper steps you need to jump onto the platform with the chair on which this ration lies.

Mission 8: Hill 493

Souvenir No. 22 - Journal. After you blow up the bunker, walk around the area looking for the corpse of an American soldier leaning against a large tree stump. Next to him are scraps of paper that are a magazine.

Souvenir No. 23 - Smoking pipe (Pipe). This souvenir can be found near the first artillery you have to destroy.

Souvenir No. 24 - Wallet (Bill Fold). Before planting thermite on the tank, when prompted, look for the destroyed bunker at the end of this area. In this fortification there will be a wallet on the window.

Mission 9: Bulge Operation

Souvenir No. 25 - Camera. At the very beginning of the mission, turn right. There you should see a group of three soldiers, and behind them lies this souvenir.

Souvenir No. 26 - Comic Book. To the right of where you brought the first box of ammunition, you can find a comic book lying on the floor.

Souvenir No. 27 - American medal (US Metal Wings). When you are tasked with defending a position from enemies, you can go up to the hill where there is a bunker covered with a camouflage tarp. Here you can collect not only a first aid kit, but also this souvenir.

Mission 10: Ambush

Souvenir No. 28 - Magazine. During the stealth part of this mission, you need to get into the second hangar on the right behind the fence, where there will be a magazine on the box.

Souvenir No. 29 - Silver Flask. After you protect Pearson from the snipers, jump onto the roof and there will be a red building in front of you. You need to get into it and pick up the flask from the table next to one of the beds.

In this article, I will tell you how many missions there are in Call of Duty: WWII, and what epic battles, encounters and situations you will have to participate in after being transferred to France.

Call of Duty: WWII

Get ready to test your mettle in Call of Duty: World War II. The campaign will take place in Europe.

1. Landing in Normandy

The main World War II battle of Omaha Beach is the first mission of Call of Duty: WWII, based on the events depicted in the film Saving Private Ryan. Protagonist Donald "Red" Daniels and his friend Private Robert Zussman engage in close and brutal hand-to-hand combat with enemy soldiers. Zussman is seriously wounded in this battle and his injuries prevent him from taking part in the battle until the start of the next mission.

2. Operation Cobra

In this mission, the Allied army fights in France in the weeks following the Normandy landings. Battles take place in forests and at the crossroads of small towns. Just a classic shooter.

Call of Duty: WWII: in the forests and at city intersections

3. Marigny Mission

The French city of Marigny was captured in an incredible struggle. The battle culminates in an epic battle at the church, resulting in the destruction of the architecture. In this Call of Duty: WWII mission, relationships within the team become tense. In particular, Sergeant William Pearson begins to reprimand Zussman that he returned to duty too early and is ballast, unfit for battle.

4. LevelTrain

Until now, players have only encountered American fighters in the campaign. Next, there is an attack on a German armored train carrying V2 missiles towards Paris. During this, the team meets British SOE operatives Edgar Crowley and Vivian. Their goal is to stop the train by any means and search for important papers. The main character Daniels is shocked by the skills of the tough British. In the second part of this Call of Duty: WWII mission, the Frenchwoman Rousseau, a partisan, comes into play and proposes a clever scheme for using the documents found.

5. Mission Wolf's Lair

August 1944 – liberation of Paris. Rousseau (as the player) and Crowley dress up in Nazi uniforms and role-play as they infiltrate Germany's headquarters in Paris. As the mission progresses, it is necessary to contact soldiers of the German army. In the second part, SOE and the resistance liberate the French capital.

6. Mission Aachen

Hostilities move to Germany. The first city occupied by the allies was Aachen. A conflict develops between the positive hero Turner and the negative Pearson. Civilians appear in the battle arena. The mission is full of drama and intense battles. Will we escort civilians to safety? After all, if they suffer during military operations, then the recent victory in Paris will become an empty phrase.

7. Stage Hürtgen Forest

Border between Germany and Belgium. Hürtgen Forest. We are clearing the way for the allied convoy. This battle is otherwise called “Death Factory”, since the following will be against us:

Call of Duty: WWII: In the Forest

  • a cruel opponent who does not want to give in;
  • severe weather conditions;
  • frost-bound dirt.

The optimism of the first missions gradually gives way to pessimism. Nazi bombs explode on the upper branches of trees, and shell fragments along with wood hit the allies.

8. Mission Height 493

You already guessed how many missions there are in Call of Duty: WWII, that's right, 8! The enemies have dug in at height 493, which we need to take. Increasing tension between team members can lead to serious problems down the road. The basis of the mission is the film “Hamburger Heights”.
