In this article you will learn:

Connor Kenway- an Indian named Radunhageidoo. A character from the game Assassin's Creed III during the American War of Independence. Ancestor and .

Characteristic

Connor was not like any of his Assassin ancestors. He was naive, persistent, thoughtful and principled. Although over the years of the struggle for American independence, his character changed radically.

The Indian liked to crack his fingers and did not like to be touched.

In society, the hero used the name Connor and his father's surname Kenway. That's how they addressed him.

Being an Indian, in addition to the hidden knink, Kenway used a tomahawk, as well as a bow.

Story

The boy was born on April 4, 1756 in America in a settlement of the Mohawk Indians. After his birth, Gadzidzio's mother named him Radunhageidu. The boy's father was Briton Haytham Kenway.

He grew up in the settlement, surrounded by friends, until one day, in 1760, they were attacked by the Templars. The settlement was burned, and the boy's mother died in the fire.

At the age of 14, the boy was shown the Crystal Ball, which was hidden and guarded by the Indians. Having touched it, Radunhageidu heard the voice of Juno, a representative of the First Civilization. She told him about the Templars' plans to take over the world and the need to find a teacher. In his vision, Radunhageidu also saw the sign of the assassins.

Leaving the valley, the young man went to the estate of Achilles Davenport, who was supposed to teach him the ways of the assassin. The elderly master told Radunhageid everything about the Templars and Assassins, and began training him as a killer.

In 1770, Achilles took Radunhageida with him to Boston. The mentor gave the Indian a new name, Connor (in honor of the son of the man who died years ago), since the Indians were so disliked. The young man visited a big city for the first time, which shocked him with the abundance of smells and sounds.

In the city, Connor witnessed a conspiracy of the Templars who wanted to start a war between America and Britain. He saw the birth of a revolution when soldiers began shooting civilians. Among the Templars, Connor saw his father Haytham, who ordered the assassin to be captured. After escaping from the soldiers and his first test, the hero received a hidden blade from Achilles.

The subsequent years of Connor's training were spent helping innocent people whom he invited to settle at the teacher's estate. So a small community formed around the Davenport estate. In addition, Connor took up the task of restoring the Aquila ship, which ran aground. After recovery, the hero learned to sail and shoot cannons.

Soon Achilles initiated Connor into the Brotherhood of Assassins, giving him the appropriate clothes.

In 1773, Radunhageidu was already a member of the Fist Fighting Club, the Hunting Society, and the Thieves Guild. On his ship, he destroyed more than one Templar ship and fort. On December 16, Connor took part in the destruction of a cargo of tea, which went down in history as the Boston Tea Party.

In 1775, the Assassin joined the Continental Army under the leadership of George Washington in the War of American Independence.

Since 1776, Connor has been involved in a conspiracy of the Templars who wanted to kill Washington. As a result, the Indian himself was accused of attempting to assassinate the leader, framed by the Continental Army general and Templar Charles Lee. He was sentenced to hang. But he was saved from the noose by a team of assassins he trained. Having prevented the assassination of Washington, the hero was acquitted, after which he attended the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

Connor on the ship Aquila

Radunhageidu continued to fight the Templars and the British, recruiting more assassins and destroying enemy ships and captains.

In 1777, Connor went in search of William Kidd's treasure. On Oak Island, the hero found the Ring of Eden, which could repel metal objects.

For some time, Connor worked with his father and even wanted to unite the Templar and Assassin orders.

Radunhageidu soon learned that George Washington was responsible for the death of his mother, since it was he who signed the papers to destroy the tribe. Having severed all relations with Washington and his father, he went to his native settlement, which was again under threat. To prevent a war between the Mohawks and the patriots, Connor had to kill his old friend Ganadogon, who was fooled by Charles Lee. After this, the hero decided to find and kill the Templar.

American Revolutionary War

In 1781, his teacher Achilles died, bequeathing all his property to Kenway, and during the assault Fort George, Connor had to kill his father Haytham.

After the death of his father, Lee became the head of the Templar Order. In 1782, Connor picked up his trail. While pursuing a wounded enemy, the assassin found him drinking in a bar, after which he killed him, taking the medallion to the Great Temple.

Connor returned to his home village, discovering that his tribe had gone west. The Assassin touched the Crystal Ball again, appearing before Juno. The woman advised him to hide the amulet, which he took from the murdered Lee, after which the Ball crumbled to dust. Radunhageidu's mission was completed. His war has come to an end.

In 1783, the American War of Independence was won. Connor was part of this victory, as he made no small effort to prevent the British from winning.

Alternate reality

In 1783, Connor was found by Washington, who gave him the Apple of Eden. Having touched it, the hero found himself in an alternative reality. He was the adult Radunhageidu in wolf's clothing, and his living mother, Gadzidzio, was fleeing from Washington's people. Having met him, Connor saw Washington's scepter on which the Apple of Eden was installed. Not understanding anything, Kenway continued to fight the bluecoats of the “king” (J. Washington), as the Indians called him.

In an attack on the village where Radunhageidu was located, Washington killed his mother with the power of the Apple of Eden. The Assassin could not cope with such power and lost.

He woke up five months later, determined to stop the “king”. Teaming up with Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin, Radunhageidu began an assault on the Washington Pyramid built in the center of New York. After defeating the “king,” Connor again touched the Apple and returned to the real world.

In an alternate reality

Return to reality

Going out to sea, Connor threw away the Apple of Eden, since more than one person should not have such power.

At first, Dr. Warren Vidic tried to wrest information from Desmond's mind, but failed. Desmond claimed that he was a simple bartender, but Vidic said that he knew about his past, thereby forcing him to accept that he was an assassin. Lucy and Vidic told Desmond that they were trying to access a certain part of his memory, but his subconscious was suppressing their attempts. Vidic warned Desmond that if he refused to help them, they would put him in a coma, continue their work, and, when the work was completed, leave him to die. Without thinking twice, Desmond agrees to help them.

With the help of the computer, Desmond learns a lot about Abstergo, as well as about its predecessor - Subject 16, which suffered from the "bleed-through effect" due to its long stay in the Animus. Ultimately, with Lucy's help, the Assassins learned of Desmond's kidnapping and attempted to rescue him.

The rescue attempt failed. Vidic was happy about this and boasted that these were the last inhabitants of the village from which Desmond escaped. After Vidic left the room, Lucy reassured Desmond by saying that his parents "probably survived" and hinted that she was also an assassin.

In the end, Desmond achieved Vidic's goal - he learned the location of the Pieces of Eden. Abstergo management ordered the assassin to be killed, but Lucy saved him, saying that his memories might still be needed. After this, Desmond discovers that he has the ability "Eagle Vision", received from his ancestor Altair through the "bleed-through effect", and sees that Lucy is indeed an assassin. In addition, he notices encrypted bloody messages left by Subject 16 throughout the laboratory.

A few minutes after Desmond saw the picture, Lucy comes running, bleeding, and demands that Desmond climb into the Animus before Abstergo discovers them. Desmond, not understanding what is happening, agrees and synchronizes in the Animus with the genetic match between him and Subject 16, which remains recorded in the Animus' memory. Inside, he experienced the birth of another of his ancestors - Ezio Auditore. Suddenly he was “thrown out” of the car and they both began to escape.

The guards noticed them almost immediately, but Lucy quickly reacted and closed the door so that the guards could not reach them. Unfortunately, on the way they came across two more guards, whom Lucy quickly stunned, which greatly surprised Desmond and allowed them to pass on undetected. The two of them soon reached the elevator, which led them to a huge room with a bunch of office blocks and many Animuses.

After passing through narrow corridors and passing security, they reached the end of the room. Lucy tried to open the code door, but she couldn't. Then Desmond, using the Eagle Vision skill, opens the code door on the third attempt, seeing fingerprints on the key numbers. There were still security waiting for them in the underground parking lot, but they dealt with them and successfully left the building in Lucy's car.

Arriving at one of the shelters, Desmond meets two other assassins - Rebecca Crane and Sean Hastings, with whom Lucy had previously worked. Lucy told Desmond that she wanted him to learn the skills of an assassin, which could be achieved in a matter of days thanks to the "trickle-down effect". To do this, it was necessary to relive the memories of an ancestor with whom Desmond had already synchronized earlier - with Ezio Auditore. Desmond agreed almost immediately, which pleasantly surprised Lucy. He was quickly connected to Animus 2.0 and began to experience Ezio's memories.

After spending a long time in the Animus, he goes out to train. Desmond has learned all the skills of Ezio, but he is haunted by hallucinations in the form of pictures from the past. A few days later, Desmond is found by Abstergo. It is noteworthy that Abstergo, with their resources, did not use firearms against Desmond, therefore they still need him alive.

The team arrived in modern Monteriggioni and set up camp there, but even there Desmond was again haunted by hallucinations. Now Desmond uses the Animus to find out where Ezio hid the Apple of Eden. After learning that the artifact was in Rome under the Colosseum, the team headed there. As soon as Desmond picks up the Apple of Eden, everyone around him froze, and the Apple began to control Desmond. Meanwhile, Desmond stabbed Lucy Stillman in the heart with his hidden blade, causing them both to fall to the ground.

Desmond is taken away by two strangers who put him back into the Animus. After completing the add-on “The Da Vinci Disappearance”, a dialogue will take place between these two people (in which it turns out that one of them is named William) and from which it became clear that Desmond fell into a coma.

While in a coma, he is still in the Animus and goes from the “White Room” (in the entire series of games, loading took place in it) to the “Black Room” (Animus mode that is safe for Desmond).

In the black room, Desmond meets Subject 16. According to the 16th, his body was eaten by worms long ago, and his mind is forever imprisoned in the Animus. To recover from his coma and avoid the fate of 16, Desmond must gain “synchronexus,” that is, gain a stronger connection with his ancestors. To do this, he needs to see the continuation and finish the stories of Ezio and Altair.

In 1511, Ezio went to Constantinople to retrieve the keys to Masyaf's library. Each key contains Altair's memories, which played into Desmond's hands.

After Ezio finds the 5 Seal, the black room collapses, as the Animus mistook Desmond for malware that needs to be removed. 16 saves Desmond from being removed, but he had to sacrifice himself to do so.

Desmond sees Ezio's memory in the already open library of Altair, where his ancestor speaks to him using the 2nd apple of Eden, and also gives him a message from the gods, which he found back in 1499.

Desmond begins a conversation with Jupiter. He tells him about the first civilization, about its death. Jupiter asks Desmond to go to their temple for further instructions.

Desmond wakes up from his coma. He is greeted by Rebecca, Sean and his father William. Desmond tells the team and his father that he knows what to do. They arrive at the site where the Great Temple of the First Civilization used to be. At the end of Assassin's creed 3, he sacrificed himself to save the world from the end of the world.

William "Bill" Miles

William Miles- leader of the Assassins in the present tense. He is also the liaison for The Fall comic. In Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Lucy sent a message with information about assassins in the world who are carrying out missions. Also, at the end of the storyline, he connected Desmond to Animus 2.03 to save him from losing his mind. He is Desmond's father.

Sean Hastings

Sean Hastings- Agent of the Assassins. Is their liaison. The first encounter takes place in AC II. Historian, smart, sarcastic. Throughout the game it provides information about the people and sights of Italy. Before the events of the game, he was an Abstergo employee. Together with the team, he leaves the shelter and goes with them to Italy. After discovering the particle of Eden, he travels to Rome with Lucy, Desmond and Rebeca. Witnesses Lucy's murder. At ACR, he meets Desmond as he wakes up from his coma. Possibly in love with Rebbeka. His ancestors were Vikings.

Object 16 (Clay Kaczmarek)

Subject 16 (real name Clay Kaczmarek) was a man who was kidnapped by Abstergo and forced into the Animus before Desmond. Ezio Clay was also related to Desmond himself by his ancestor. He also said that his ancestor was a warrior who participated in the Battle of Gittesberg, a senator of the Roman Forum and Queen Isabella.

What is known for certain is that object 16 was captured by the enemies of the Assassins, the Templars hiding in Abstergo Industries in 2012 to test the genetic program “Memory Reminder”. The head of the Abstergo laboratory was always Warren Vidic, 16 was connected to the Animus for a life-threatening time. This caused 16 to suffer from a severe illness known as the "Trickle Down Effect".

Due to the Bleeding Effect, 16 saw his ancestors' memories without the help of the Animus, but 16's inability to control these visions drove him insane, ultimately culminating in his suicide.

Before his death, Subject 16 was forced to examine the memories of an ancestor named Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who fought against the Knights Templar from Italy. 16 never experienced the memories of his ancestor visiting Italy. Merging with Ezio, he drew cryptic messages on the floor and walls of Abstergo with his blood, and 16 committed suicide to prevent the Templars from achieving their goal. In Revelations, he helps Desmond come out of his coma and finally dies helping Desmond escape from being deleted by the Animus as a malware.

Although he found the student rather fragile and too much of a perfectionist, he considered him wise beyond his years and thanks. By 1498, Perotto was working as a courier for Alexander IV and thereby spying on his correspondence with Lucrezia and eavesdropping on conversations between Rodrigo and Cesare Borgia, captain-general of the Papal Army. He was able to prevent many plots against the Assassins. During his service, he also kept an eye on Lucretia, who at that time lived in the monastery of San Sisto. Seeing her tears caused by the letters that her brother and father wrote to her, and also hearing that Rodrigo talks about Lucrezia's wedding as if it were a simple thing, he was imbued with pity for her, and ultimately fell in love. To win the heart of Lucrezia, Perotto began to give her expensive gifts, with which Julia, Lucrezia’s maid, helped her. Over time, they began to walk together in the garden of the monastery and Perotto told her made-up stories about the adventures of the courier. Despite their growing affection for each other, they were forced to keep their distance so that no one would find out about their relationship. However, in the end, the lovers became so close that after one of the nights spent together, Lucretia became pregnant. When the boy was born, the doctor, Julia's brother, said that the child would live only a few days. However, it was impossible to keep the child a secret and Cesare, having learned about this, threw Perotto in prison, but with the assistance of Julia, he managed to escape from prison and kidnap his son. However, Rodrigo quickly learned of the assassin's escape and sent his men to search for him. They managed to overtake Perotto near Florence, but he was ready to attack and dealt with his pursuers with the help of a bow. After this, Perotto went to Agnadello, knowing that the only thing that could heal his son was one of the Pieces of Eden - the Shroud, which his brothers kept. However, when he arrived in the village, he was sad that his own assassin brothers, drawing their swords, did not allow him to get to the artifact and he had to kill or neutralize them. Having reached the house of his friend and keeper of the Shroud, Rinaldo Vitturi, there he found the artifact and healed his son, returned the Shroud to its place and left Rinaldo’s house. The Brotherhood could not turn a blind eye to Perotto's violations and sent a group of hunters (among whom was Perotto's student) to kill the offender. They, with the help of the villagers, quickly found the traitor's camp, but he was again ready to attack. Connor Kenway, born Radunhageidu(English) Connor Kenway, English Ratohnhaké:ton) - the main character of the video game "Assassin's Creed III". Ancestor of Desmond Miles, who dedicated his life to the fight for freedom, equality and justice.

Biography

Connor Kenway (Radunhageidoo) is an American assassin from the American Revolution. Born on May 9, 1755, into the Mohawk tribe, he was a typical descendant of an interracial marriage of that time: his father was the English Templar Haytham Kenway, and his mother was Gadzidzio, a Native American.

When the hero was still little, he suffered greatly due to attacks by white colonists in his village. Connor Kenway devoted his own life to the fight for justice and equality - in this he was helped by the Brotherhood of Assassins and other colorful personalities (George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere and others), whom the hero met later. Connor learns about the assassins from a vision and remembers their sign, which he then uses to navigate. He finds Achilles Davenport, who later becomes his mentor. In Assassin's creed II, Ezio Auditore avenged his family, and Connor Kenway saves his homeland, helps people, participates in the war against the British, and simultaneously deals with the Templars. Connor is a calm, quiet assassin, but he reacts warily to touch and thinks about every word. Connor is also very similar to a predator: he easily jumps from tree to tree, runs quickly like a wolf. After the death of Achilles, he remained to live on his estate.

After the destruction of his village, he received a message from Juno and hid the key in the grave of Connor Davenport (son of Achilles) for Desmond to find.

Returning to Abstergo, he asks to be put in the Animus, because he believes that only there is his “true” family in the person of the family of Nikolai Orlov. Becomes the main agent of the Templars. Killed by Desmond Miles in 2012.

Desmond Miles

Descendant of Altaïr, captured by the modern Templars in 2012. As it turned out, he was captured by the powerful Abstergo corporation. Under the supervision of two company employees, Desmond must delve into the memories of his ancient ancestor to show him where the Piece of Eden is located.
In appearance, Desmond is indistinguishable from Altair, the same eyes, nose, even a scar on his lip, accidentally received under unknown circumstances. Miles, without knowing it, is an assassin. Before he was captured, he worked as a bartender.

Altair ibn La-Ahad

An elite warrior of the Assassin Clan who violated the Creed because of his narcissism and arrogance. Carrying out an important task in the Temple of Solomon, Altair killed an innocent old man, and later, relying on his strength, he gave himself away, at the cost of the death of the young assassin and the deprivation of his friend’s hand. But worst of all, the Brotherhood was attacked by the Templars. After this, Altair was stripped of his high rank and started all over again.
Altair has an attractive appearance. A scar on the lip and beautiful eyes complement the image of the mysterious Killer. His cold-blooded nature and controlled emotions cause his victims to tremble in fear at the sight of a man in a white hood. Altair masterfully uses crowds of people for his own purposes, and it is almost impossible to find him on a crowded street.
Altair is smart, capable of learning from his own mistakes. After he became an apprentice again, he began to listen to the words of the victims, and soon he found out that Al Mualim betrayed the Clan because of the Apple of Paradise, a powerful artifact capable of destroying all life. Then Altair returned to Masyaf and overthrew the mad old man in battle.

Malik al-Sauf

Altair's best friend, who envied him in everything, so he constantly criticized him. Because of a “friend’s” mistake, he lost his brother and his left arm, after which he hated Altair even more. The chance to become an assassin was gone, and he was transferred to the Assassin Bureau in Jerusalem. When Altair came to the Bureau, Malik did not miss the opportunity to be sarcastic. After the next completed task, the Assassin apologized to Malik. It turned out that the Head of the Bureau had been tormented by his conscience for a long time, but he did not have the courage to apologize first. After Altair's repentance, he forgave him and asked for forgiveness himself. Trust and understanding returned to them.

Lucy Stillman

A young Abstergo employee who is required to monitor Desmond and also monitor the Animus, a machine that immerses ancestors in memories, during its operation.
Before Abstergo, Lucy worked on her own project, but professors and scientists made it clear to her that she had no prospects and refused to sponsor her. When Lucy was offered a job at Abstergo, she accepted without hesitation. Later, the girl realized that the reason for her failures lay in the company where she works. Abstergo specially set up the situation so that Lucy would end up in their hands.

Warren Vidic

An employee of the Abstergo Corporation whose duties include ensuring that Desmond completes the memories of his ancestors on time. Out of habit, Desmond got out of sync, and now he needs to go through everything all over again, and Vidic must watch him. Vidik's memory sometimes fails - he often loses the password to his computer. The man is not young, he is already turning gray, but nevertheless, he does his job well.

Attention! Get ready! "Animus" from "Igromaniya" - launch!

Gambling addiction https://www.site/ https://www.site/

Learn history through a series of games Assassin's Creed- a unique occupation. Reality and fiction are successfully intertwined here into an unforgettable pattern. The genetic memory of a hero from the present reconstructs, one might say, the fate of an assassin from the past: Altair ibn La-Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, three generations of the Kenway family, and so on. The player meets a whole portrait gallery of interesting personalities. Some of them actually existed, while others were invented by developers from Ubisoft. It's time for us to enter this gallery. Get ready, the “Animus” of “Gambling Mania” is starting its work!

From each part we will choose two historical figures - a hero and a villain.

For honor and courage in the name of the Holy Sepulcher!

Richard I Plantagenet, legendary king of England and participant in the Third Crusade. He went down in history as a valiant warrior. But one can doubt his qualities as a ruler: the third crusade became shameful for England. Richard was reproached for betrayal and complicity with Muslims. Saladin's supporters considered Richard extremely cruel.

King Richard left a huge mark on world culture. Dozens of actors played the king, most often linking his persona with that of the noble robber from Sherwood Forest, but, unfortunately or fortunately, he was not in the game.

Naturally, our main character could not help but pass by Richard the Lionheart. Altair goes to him with the news that Robert de Sable is preparing a plot to overthrow the king. He does not believe the assassin and offers the so-called trial by combat. Before his death, Robert admits to the existence of a conspiracy, but not against the king, but within the brotherhood! And here Altair’s world collapses completely. Teacher Al-Mualim, the one who raised him and replaced his father, is himself a Templar. Such a shame from the reputation of the Brotherhood can only be washed away with blood. The blood of Al Mualim.

But the in-game Robert de Sable and the real one are two completely different personalities: a greedy, cunning and vile Templar of the virtual world and a glorious, valiant leader of the order in life. After the death of the previous Grand Master, Gerard de Ridefort, the post was vacant for a year and a half. Courage and boldness replaced Robert’s career: the knights of the order themselves nominated him for this position. Robert immediately understood which path the Templars must take in order for the order to cover itself with unfading glory. He allowed many secular knights to wear a red cross on their chests without taking an oath.

De Sable himself most likely accepted her under the walls of Acre. So, if he were alive, he would definitely have filed a lawsuit in some human rights court and would have lost. After all, at the beginning of each game, the developers constantly warn that the game is the result of the joint work of a multinational team, and various superstitions, myths, legends, religions and beliefs are intertwined in it. But all fiction does not offend and has no such purpose.

Three stories of one hero

In principle, if you follow logic, then in the trilogy about Ezio the Auditor you need to choose only two from a huge variety of heroes and villains. But the editor gave me a free hand (nothing like that! - approx. angry editor), so for my villains I choose the most unholy of all holy families - the Borgias!

Two generations of this family could well serve as subjects for research into the customs of important persons of the Renaissance. Rodrigo Borgia, better known as "Satan's apothecary" and Pope Alexander VI, became one of the most corrupt politicians in the history of the church. Threats, blackmail, bribery, in case of disobedience - death by poison. Throughout Italy, blood flowed like a river, mixing with poison and wine. The image of Rodrigo was embodied both in the game and in the film that accompanied the advertising campaign. "Origin".

NOTE: Actors from “Origin” were also involved in the embodiment of the heroes of the game.

We see another film image of Alexander VI in TV series "Borgia". Jeremy Irons gave his dad's unique touch of spirituality, while John Doman (the same Carmine Falcone from "Gotham") added cunning and cunning to the already contradictory image of His Holiness.

His children, Cesare and Lucrezia, did not lag behind their father. All of Cesare's virtues have been confronted with lies and betrayal since childhood. I have no doubt that in another family he could have grown into a valiant warrior and a worthy representative of the military elite of Italy. But, alas, the pope (in every sense of the word) gave him a cardinal's hat, and Cesare plunged his immortal soul deeper and deeper into the abyss of sin. The portraits show Rodrigo's son as an attractive man, and he took advantage of it.

Lucretia, this “lover of the Devil,” was as charming by the standards of her time as her brother. Greedy, selfish, powerful, knowing the properties of many poisons, she could turn anyone’s head. She was sincerely loved and hated. They feared and worshiped. They cursed and admired. Rodrigo and Lucrezia, father and daughter - who could imagine that their child would be simultaneously recognized as the product of both the Holy Spirit and the Devil? Or maybe Cesare tried? Incest was common in this family of holy bastards.

It is not surprising that they were made the antagonists in the adventures of Ezio Auditore da Firenze. But who helped the Italian assassin in the fight against the church itself?

“And now I must cut off your finger; Sorry, that’s what it says on the scroll.”

Speaking about the second part of the Assassin’s Creed series, one cannot help but recall the main assistant of the main character. Leonardo da Vinci, a brilliant inventor, a restless experimenter, a genius and simply Ezio's best friend... In the game we see a young and spirited young man who eagerly plunges into the potentially deadly mystery of the order of assassins, without fear of losing his head in pursuit of the truth. A new type of hidden blade, a pistol, a parachute, a flying car (by the way, it never actually flew)... we thank Leonardo for all this. Yes, he did not escape the corrupting influence of the free morals of the Renaissance, as indicated by one of the scenes in the game, but we can only guess about this.

Thank you, Leonardo, for everything and even more!

Caterina Sforza, the lioness of Romagna and the tigress from Forlì... It is possible that Andrzej Sapkowski copied Calanthe, the Lioness of Cintra, from her. And there is something to copy from: after the death of her second husband, Katerina gathered people loyal to her and slaughtered every last one of her murderers. She also had a specific sense of humor. During the siege of the fortress after the death of Katerina’s first husband, the conspirators planned to kill her children. The lady climbed onto the wall, lifted her skirts and showed what more “her mold” could do.

In the game, Katerina is shown as a woman of free morals. Married (or maybe not), she seduced Ezio with ease and pleasure. The erotic scene in the “only bathroom in all of Monteriggioni” will excite the minds of gamers of puberty and, to be honest, post-puberty for a long time. Although if you look at the portraits of Katerina, particularly depraved thoughts will not arise. But these are the standards of beauty of that time. A lot has changed over the centuries.

For the third representative of the forces of good, all means are good. This is Niccolo Machiavelli, author of The Prince, a genius of speech and politics. Historian biographer Roberto Ridolfi describes Machiavelli as follows: “He was a slender man, of average height, with a thin build. Black hair, white skin, small head, thin face, high forehead. Very bright eyes and thin, compressed lips, which always seemed to smile a little ambiguously.”.

Honest, intelligent, ready for self-education, Machiavelli entered the political life of Florence during a rather difficult period. He was the first in the history of Florence to understand the advantages of a professional army made up of citizens and made a republic out of Florence. In The Prince, the question of the personality of the ruler occupies a key place. For Machiavelli, there is one answer - a strong, charismatic personality, ready to do anything to maintain power and position. But at the same time, the sovereign must hear and respect the voice of the majority.

The gaming Machiavelli largely repeats his prototype. His goal is strong power in Florence. True, in the game he sees the Medici as strong rulers, and not the Borgia, as in reality. Even Niccolo's alleged betrayal was part of his political game to weaken the Borgia. By putting himself at risk, he believed in Ezio's intelligence. As a result, the enemy was defeated, and justice and peace triumphed.

In the blade we believe

From the third part of Assassin’s Creed, the plot completely erases the line of “good” and “bad”; the Templars and Assassins no longer appear before us as black and white pieces in the world of chess. By the way, a comparison with chess is more than appropriate here. Now we are completely immersed in the plot, its fast and exciting development. Yes, this is fast chess, where the pieces are capable of sprinkling blood on the board.

Most of the characters in the threequel are one hundred percent real. And, to be honest, it’s very difficult for me to choose a hero and a villain from them. But there is still a candidate - and this is George Washington!

The large group of "Founding Fathers" is divided into two key subgroups: the delegates who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and the framers of the US Constitution in 1787 (including the delegates who signed the Articles of Confederation). Until the end of the 19th century, they were referred to as the "Founders of the USA" or as the "Fathers of the USA".

Some historians use the term "Founding Fathers" to refer to a larger group of individuals, including not only the signers of the founding documents, but also those who participated in the formation of the United States of America as politicians, lawyers, statesmen, soldiers, diplomats, or ordinary citizens. .

Historian Richard Morris in 1973 identified seven key "Founding Fathers": John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and George Washington. Three of them, Hamilton, Madison and Jay, are the authors of the Federalist Papers: eighty-five articles supporting the ratification of the US Constitution.

After this historical background, we abruptly return to... history. George Washington became the first President of the United States in 1789 (and his portrait adorns the US $1 bill). Before that, he spent many years in the battles for independence, where he showed himself to be a brave and intelligent commander. But, as already noted, not all white is so white.

Being an active fighter for the rights of slaves, Washington kept three hundred black slaves in his possession, and severely punished those who escaped. As sociological studies show, Washington is the “blackest” surname in the United States.

Radunhageidu meets two George Washingtons at once - good and evil. The mutual assistance of the Indian and the American leads Connor to achieve his goal, the murder of his father and Charles Lee, and ultimately makes George president.

Another George reveals himself to the assassin in the expansion "The Tyranny of King Washington". The name already suggests a major historical turning point. The "Apple of Eden" in the king's scepter corrupted Washington, making his power absolute and despotic. The once bright future is washed with the blood of dissenters. Once again, Connor is forced to save the world from the mystical forces contained in the Apple. Ultimately, Washington himself abandoned the idea of a monarchy in the United States.

Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of whiskey!

We will gallop through the rest of the series, starting with the most atypical, wettest, most adventurous and therefore successful - a game about pirates, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag.

"Black Flag", the golden era of piracy! Of course, the first thing we remember is Edward Teach, the one nicknamed Blackbeard! Dear friend Edward, we will honor your glorious memory with a few lines in our article.

Relying only on his terrifying image, Edward easily captured ships. It is known that he did not torture or kill prisoners, but only if they obediently surrendered to the mercy of his command.

Teach's death in life and in the game is different. Five bullet and twenty stab wounds were found on the body of the real Teach. The head of the legendary pirate was hung on the bowsprit as a warning to other filibusters. Edward Kenway's friend died while boarding the battleship. His hat lies in London, in Edward's apartment (we're talking about Assassin's Creed Syndicate).

In contrast to Teach, Edward meets Laureano Torres y Ayala, the governor of Cuba. In addition, Laureano is also the Grand Master of the Templar Order! Governor of Cuba, the most pirated region in the Caribbean, and a Templar!

Sentenced to death squared!

The latest history of the world and the game series

The French Revolution introduced us to refined, aesthetically sound and beautiful murders. To Assassin's Creed: Unity Personally, I thought the Italian part was the most exquisite. Yes, at first the game had a lot of bugs and shortcomings, but everything turned out to be fixable.

Arno Dorian is immersed in the interests of the revolution, and this is not surprising, because his father was killed by a Templar! Revenge pushes Arno into a maelstrom of intrigue, a tangled web of relationships and mysteries. And here, just in time, we meet the main heroes and villains of the Great French Revolution - Napoleon Bonaparte and Robespierre.

A Corsican carrying a marshal's baton in his backpack. The short man who managed to light a fire throughout Europe. Great Emperor of France. It's all him, Napoleon Bonaparte. In Unity, Monsieur Bonaparte is as ambiguous as in history. Wanting to help Arno Dorian at first, after 1794 he seeks the Piece of Eden for his own needs. The fallen king was arrested with the help of our protagonist.

Maximilian Robespierre had a different fate. His story is somewhat similar to the story of Robert de Sablé. Incorruptible, ready to go to the end in the name of the revolution, Robespierre suffered during the uprising of the Paris Commune and was secretly executed on 10 Thermidor (July 28, 1794). Robespierre from Unity- a Templar who turns the chaos of the revolution to his advantage. A cruel philosopher-practitioner who did not stain his hands with blood, but pulled on bloody gloves.

Finally, in Assassin's Creed Syndicate there were also Dickens, Conan Doyle, Bell, Karl Marx - the gallery of historical figures in the series can be continued for a long time. “Rooks” fighting with “gallows” - is this not the plot for “Oliver Twist” or “Notes on Sherlock Holmes”?

Inquisition on the wide screen

And very soon. It takes place during the Inquisition, and Torquemada's participation has already been confirmed. Who else might appear in this chapter of the order's history? Sixtus IV, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella - these three pillars of the holy Spanish Inquisition?

Then we'll find out! Perhaps the whole thing is sudden! - in energy drink Tornado Energy!

But this is far from the end. Surely Ubisoft is already developing new parts Assassin's Creed, in which the order again influences historical events. And how can one not recall the words of Machiavelli, who was ready to sacrifice one life to save many? If you believe the Abstergo archives, the Templars and the Assassins are still at war, one way or another influencing the course of world history. Who knows, maybe on June 28, 1914, an assassin of the order acted in Sarajevo? And November 22, 1963? Who knows what secrets are hidden from us behind the seven seals of the great opposing orders. Who knows where “Animus” will take us next...
