They are very useful for kids, but no less important for older ones.

After all, it is at such moments that people feel truly family and friends, turning into a strong family from advertising posters.

An ideal option for spending time together at home is a game whose rules are clear and accessible to all participants, grandmothers and toddlers alike.

Below we will present you the most popular family games for children and adults.

Some require props (game board, chips, cubes, cards, outfits, pencils, paper), which should be thought about in advance. Others are completely spontaneous and require no preparation.

Floor and board games for the whole family

It’s great when you have a magical shelf in your arsenal with treasured boxes, purchased on occasion or without.

“Monopoly”, “Settlers”, “Operation”, “Family”, “Scrabble” (aka “Scrabble” or “Wordmaker”), “Activity”, assorted adventure games with chips and dice...

Detective, strategic, economic, card, playful and serious, all these family Board games will bring a unique flavor to your everyday evenings.

Unusual card games(classic “Uno”, its humorous analogue “Svintus”) require a special deck of cards and knowledge of the rules.

For “Twister” you will need a branded set consisting of a floor covering with multi-colored circles and a spinning “drum”, and also the remarkable flexibility of the participants (it’s almost like yoga!).

Don't forget about your favorite classics, especially if you're playing with elderly relatives.

The older generation will be happy to join in such quiet family games as lotto, dominoes, backgammon, checkers or “Battleship”.

The whole family can collect puzzles of increased complexity with their favorite landscapes or characters. And also, train your memory and manual dexterity with the help of the Memory game.

The most creative companies can conduct experiments and show tricks - there are a lot of thematic sets for this.

Contact games (creative, with elements of communication and guessing)

If you are tired of everything you have and want to get some fresh inspiration and creativity (and the right team has gathered), play creative or theatrical games.

1. "Associations"
Participants are divided into teams. Cards are prepared in advance, on each of which 8-10 words (objects) are written.

The player’s task is to use associations to explain the meaning of each word so that his team can guess.

The more points from the card are solved, the more points your group has. Adjectives with the same root cannot be pronounced.

2. "Crocodile"
A similar game, only the word guessed by the host or the opposing team must be explained using gestures and pantomimes (without uttering a sound).

With a small number of people, you can play without dividing into teams - then the one who guessed goes “to the board” to show a new word.

3. "Who am I?"
Another guessing game for which you will need adhesive stickers and felt-tip pens. Participants come up with pseudonyms (“code names”) for each other.

Real people or movie characters are chosen (from Carlson, Kolobok and Batman to Madonna and Michael Jackson). Names are written on paper and pasted on the participants' foreheads.

The hero, destined to find out who he is, asks simple questions, participants answer “Yes” or “No”. Example: “Am I a cartoon character?”, “Am I round?”, “Do I like honey?”

4. “We have contact!”
The chosen leader thinks of a concept or object and names the first letter (for example, “T”).

All other participants come up with words starting with the letter T and try to describe them to each other, but without the leader guessing.

If someone in the team understands what his friend is trying to communicate, he says: “There is contact!” From this moment on, within 10 seconds the presenter must also guess this word.

Does not know? Then the participants pronounce it simultaneously on the count of three, after which the presenter is obliged to give out the second letter of the hidden word. Now “Contact” includes items starting with two letters, and so on.

The dialogue goes something like this:
– I have my word. This is a delicious dessert made from cream cheese and eggs.
- There is contact! (count to ten, the host does not know the answer)
- One, two, three - Tiramisu.
- Okay, the second letter is O. Now you need to come up with words starting with “TO.”

5. “Make up a fairy tale”
A game that requires a minimum of paraphernalia - just paper and pen. The team needs to compose a fairy tale.

The difficulty is that each participant writes only one sentence on a piece of paper, completely unaware of what his previous colleague came up with.

Then the page is folded and passed to the new participant, and so on in a circle. At the end, the fairy tale is solemnly read aloud: as a rule, it’s never boring!

6. “What’s missing/changed?”
A game to develop memory and attention. The participant must remember as accurately as possible everything that is on the table or in the room.

Then he goes out and the team makes changes to the interior. The player must guess which item is missing or has changed its place.

7. "Masquerade"
Trying on unusual images is a favorite pastime for children, but adults won’t be bored at your costume ball either.

The game options vary - you can come up with outfits from scrap materials (paper, beads, glue, fabrics, ribbons, felt), or use those prepared in advance.

Based on the results of dressing up, you can organize a costume procession, a competition for the best image, or stage a play for grandparents.

8. “Fanta”
At major holidays, the adventurous game “Fanta” remains the most favorite pastime of guests.

IN magic bag cards with assignments are folded, and each participant with the question “What should this phantom do?” takes out one at a time.

To add excitement, some versions of the game include valuable collateral (a banknote, a phone, a toy).

The most important thing is that tasks for forfeits are humorous, decent (we play with children!), safe and not offensive!

We invite you to consider several ideas for games and competitions for family holidays and leisure; let’s talk about what games and competitions you can come up with with your family that will be interesting to both children and adults, allowing everyone to play without exception. As you know, cozy family evenings bring all family members very close, so we suggest you organize such events and repeat them as often as possible.

Intellectual and educational games for the whole family, allowing you to get to know each other better and show your abilities

  • Game "Associations" for adults and children from 3 years old
This is a very simple and at the same time educational game, which requires both a large vocabulary and the ability to develop logic.
Rules. A word is called, then the next participant selects the closest and most logically appropriate, from his point of view, association to it. The association can be absolutely anything, and the initially guessed word can lead to completely unexpected turns in the logical chain.
Example. The first hidden word is “toy”. The next participant associates it with a ball, the ball reminds of football, football of the field, field of flowers, flowers of summer, summer of the sea, sea of swimming. And so on. Words can be absolutely anything, nouns, adjectives or verbs. This will make this game even more exciting and fun for the whole family.
  • Kind family game “Wishes” for adults and children from 2.5 years old
This game is very suitable for family holidays, and especially for the New Year.
Rules. Family members sit at the table. It is advisable so that everything is “mixed”. For example, grandmothers sat next to their grandchildren, and parents sat next to their children. The essence of the game is that each player must wish something to the family member sitting to his right, what, in his opinion, he wants most. The participant who thinks for a long time is eliminated.
For example, if dad works a lot, then the child wishes him to go to the seaside together, and if the eldest son graduates from school this year, then we can wish him successful admission to the institute he dreamed of entering. The game brings family members closer together and helps them get to know each other better.
  • Creative and fun game "Fairy Tale" for adults and children from 10 years old
Rules. The only details you need are a sheet of paper and a pen. The first participant writes the title sentence of the fairy tale and folds a piece of paper, passing it to the next one so that he can write a continuation. And so on in a circle. The main thing is that each subsequent participant does not see what the previous one wrote.
Example. The first participant writes on a sheet of paper “Once upon a time there was a grandfather and a woman”, passes it on to the second, where he comes up with his own continuation of the fairy tale “and they flew to distant lands to save Vasilisa the Beautiful”, the next participant, not seeing what the previous ones wrote, continues “which turned out to be later, the little humpbacked horse.” The options can be completely different and the most unpredictable. At the end we unfold a funny fairy tale, read and all laugh together at the gobbledygook of family creativity.
  • Developing observation game “Searching for the Lost” for adults and children from 3 years old
This competition for the whole family develops attentiveness and visual memory of its participants.
Rules. For props you need a colored tablecloth and many small items. These can be tubes of lipstick, small boxes, caps, ballpoint pens, teaspoons, matchboxes - in general, anything you find at home. The more varied the details, the better. All these utensils are laid out on the table, which is previously covered with a tablecloth, and the participants sit around. The essence of the game is to remember all the objects lying on the playing field and immediately notice the object that disappears from the table.
Example. The driver invites the players to look carefully at the table and try to remember many more objects and how they are located. After which everyone must close their eyes, and the driver removes from the table and hides one of the objects. At his command, the participants open their eyes and try to figure out which object has disappeared. The one who guesses becomes the driver.
  • The “12 Months” drawing competition is suitable for adults and children over 7 years old.
This educational and fun competition is suitable for any family holiday. The competition reveals drawing abilities and will be of interest to both children and adults.
Rules. Participants are divided into two teams. Each team is given 12 A4 sheets, colored pencils or markers. The task is that after the agreed time, the teams must provide all 12 sheets, on each of which they will draw one of the 12 months of the year. The team's task is to guess which month is depicted in each drawing of the opponents.
Example. As a hint, you can mark some events in the pictures that symbolize a particular month. For example, March is associated with March 8, April with Cosmonautics Day, and December with New Year's troubles. And so on. The team that guesses the most pictures wins. Well, the second team can be awarded incentive prizes for intelligible images.

Active and energetic games and competitions for the whole family that you can play at home

  • Clockwork catch-up game "Zhmurki" is suitable for adults and children from 3 years old
This fun game is familiar to many of us since childhood. And until now, Zhmurki are one of the main children's entertainments at family holidays, in which adults are happy to participate.
Rules. The point is very simple. First, a driver is chosen. They blindfold him. The rest of the players stand around him, facing the center. At the signal, the driver begins to catch the participants, and they run away and dodge him. The driver must guess the caught participant by touch, without untying his eyes. If he guesses correctly, then the person caught becomes the driver. The winner is the one who is caught the least number of times or not caught at all.
Example. It is better for the drivers to initially make one of the adults so that he can show by example how you can play this game at home without destructive consequences. Children scatter in different directions within the same room, and a blindfolded participant tries to catch them by touch and, without peeking, determine who got caught.
  • Cheerful music game"Masquerade" is suitable for adults and children over 6 years old
Rules. Props include a large bag and a lot of different clothes. The brighter, funnier and more unusual the clothes are, the better. This could be underwear, national costumes, fur hats, stockings and tights, grandma's leggings, mother's evening dress, and so on). All clothes are put in a bag, a presenter and a DJ is selected. The host turns on the music, to which all the other participants begin to dance and pass each other a bag of clothes. When the music turns off, the participant who still has the bag in his hands must randomly pull out an item of clothing from it and put it on himself. The game continues until the bag is empty.
Example. The music can stop at anyone, just as the thing that the participant takes out of the bag can be the most unusual. For example, a dad might come across his daughter’s swimsuit, and a grandma might come across a flamboyant miniskirt. As a result, everyone will look very funny and colorful.

We hope that the listed entertainments will decorate

The participant who eats the dessert faster than the rest wins. It is a good idea to give out plenty of napkins before the competition starts as the ice cream will start to leak at some point.

    Game "Full Serious"

All family members play. First, players must come up with a keyword (for example, “tomato”). After that, they begin to ask each participant any questions in turn. The players' task is to answer the question posed with complete seriousness on their faces using the keyword. The one who laughs leaves the game. The most serious player wins.

    Sample questions

All family members play. A certain set of objects is laid out on the table (the more, the better): comb, scissors, fork, book, pins, etc.

Then they close their eyes and the leader removes one of the objects. After this, the players open their eyes. Their task is to name the item that is missing. The person who guesses first changes places with the leader. The game continues until interest disappears.

    Game "Woof"

2 family members play (or 2 teams of 2 people). To play you will need big deck kart. They must be mixed well and distributed to each participant (group) in equal quantities.

Players (teams) begin to simultaneously remove cards from their deck and place them face up. If the same cards come up (for example, two jacks or two eights), participants must quickly shout the word “Woof.” Whoever managed to do this earlier takes this deck for himself. The participant (team) who has the entire deck of cards in their hands wins.

    Game "Body Parts"

Game-entertainment. All family members play. You need to prepare cards in advance, on each of which you should write a certain part of the body: ear, heel, left finger, knee, etc. Before the game starts, all the pieces of paper are put into a hat and mixed.

Then each participant takes turns taking out a card and saying out loud what is written on it. All players must touch this part of the body first with their left hand, then with their right hand. This needs to be done very quickly.

The game helps to cheer up the participants and lift everyone's spirits.

  • Game "Family Menagerie"

All family members play. Each participant writes the name of any animal on a paper sticker and sticks it on the neighbor’s forehead so that he does not see the inscription. The players' task is to guess their animal. To do this, participants take turns asking leading questions that can be answered clearly and specifically “Yes” or “No.”

    Sample questions

    • Does this animal live in the forest?
    • Does it eat honey and berries?
    • This is a bear?
    • The game ends when everyone has guessed their animal.

Vova is 9 years old, he sits in the chair opposite and draws his family. In the picture, mom, dad, grandma and he occupy separate rooms, in which everyone is busy with their own affairs. Mom is in the kitchen cooking food, dad is at the computer, grandma is watching a TV series. “And I do my homework, and then play on the tablet,” Vova completes her drawing. “Would you like it differently?” - I ask. I ask, but I already know the answer. Of course yes!

Artem, Petya, Arina and other children who were brought to my reception talk about their family in approximately the same way, but with minor changes. They have different families, different problems, but the basic needs are very similar - to be loved and spend quality time as a family.

Therefore, I have collected some of the most favorite games for children and me that will help the family have fun and solve many psychological problems.

These games do not require any material costs, just a piece of your time.

Games for children from 2 to 6 years old

Game "Confusion"

The optimal number of players is four. The three join hands and become entangled, crawling through each other's arms and legs. The fourth one goes out the door and then comes back to unravel. The disentanglers change alternately. If there are three of you in the family, then you can untangle yourself. Believe me, it's not that easy =)

This game promotes physical contact, which is essential for children to mental development, especially for those who don’t like him very much or have already grown beyond the age of hugging.

Game "Hide and Seek"

You can hide a toy in a small apartment. The choice of toy can tell a lot about a player. For example, my little client hid a potty toy during a meeting, thus acting out his embarrassment and aggression on others about fecal incontinence.

This game is very useful during the period of separation of children from their parents: the crisis of 3 years, adaptation in kindergarten and school, adolescence. By losing in the game, children transform experiences and feelings into their mental reality, and then bring them to life.

Game "Blind Man's Bluff"

Blindfolded, you need to catch any family member and name him.

This game promotes the release of accumulated emotions, cohesion, and tactile contact.

Game "Palms"

Trace the child's palm on three sheets of paper. Together with your child, color your palms red, green and yellow. Showing a red palm, the child should stand still without moving. Showing yellow - speak in a whisper and walk on tiptoe, green - shout loudly and run fast. Alternate your palms.

The game teaches volitional regulation, switching attention, listening, and energy release.

Game "Name Calling"

When passing the ball, call each other “names.” It could be fruits or vegetables: “Oh, you’re a carrot” or “You’re a lemon.”

The game relieves aggression and allows it to be expressed in an acceptable form. There is always anger at parents, because they scold, forbid, and do not understand. With such a game you give your permission to be angry and accept it, and this is the best prevention of psychological and even physical diseases.

Competition "Boasters"

There are two options for bragging: about yourself and about your neighbor. Boasting about yourself every night when the family gets together can boost self-esteem, build trust, and simply let you know how your day went. By bragging about each other, we remind ourselves that we value and love in our family, we teach them to be attentive to each other, to look closely and listen. For example: “You were very fast today when you got ready for school.”

Game "Raft"

Everyone is sailing on a ship. Suddenly - a shipwreck. Everyone needs to sit on a small raft (a mat or square with boundaries marked) and decide what to do next.

This exercise is aimed at increasing family cohesion. The main thing is to give the child the opportunity to “write the script”, and your task is to correct it (give a hand if you want to “fall into the sea”, resolve conflicts, teach skills to get out of trouble). difficult situations, stimulate imagination).

Games for children from 6 to 14 years old

Children of this age can find their favorite pastime in the games listed above and vice versa.

Bowling game

Play sets are sold in children's stores, but you can play with anything. The pins can be books, which fall easily from almost any ball.

This game promotes self-control and, like all competitive games, teaches you how to lose. By encouraging and helping, while playing with their parents, children live through their failures and prepare to enter competitive adult life.

Game "Crocodile"

One by one, it is necessary to show (without words) an animal; at an older age, an abstract concept or emotion.

The familiar game teaches communication, increases self-esteem, attentiveness, stimulates imagination, and increases vocabulary.

Game "Family History"

In a circle, everyone offers one proposal to make scary tale(funny or fantastic). The resulting story can be acted out.

In the story, as in life, you have different events, but a common family history.

Game "True or False"

After throwing the ball, we ask a question to one of the family members. You need to answer: “true or false.” If the participant gives the correct answer, the right to ask passes to him. Depending on the statement, the game can be educational, bonding and relaxing. If you want to learn capitals, ask: “Is it true that the capital of Kazakhstan is Astana?” There is a misunderstanding between you: “Is it true that I am offended/judgment/dislike you?” Want to talk about sex, but don't know how: “It's true that the only effective method prevent pregnancy - a condom" (to prevent embarrassment for the child, mom can ask dad a question, but the child will definitely receive important information for him).

Game "Who Am I"

Each player writes the name of a literary character/actor/cartoon character on a small piece of paper and passes it to the other so that no one can see. We hold the leaf on our forehead. As a result, the player sees the names of everyone except his own. Players take turns asking those around them leading questions. Questions should be such that they can be answered “Yes” or “No”.

The game promotes communication, imagination, and attentiveness.

Great games are mafia, sea battle And "dots" on paper . As well as games that can be purchased in stores: chess, checkers, dominoes, lotto, monopoly, darts, twister, Jenga, Pentago, backgammon, table hockey, football, bowling, snooker, golf and many others.

Be kids with kids and feel how great it is!

When going with your friends on your next forest picnic, going on vacation to the river or to the country, stock up on a few fun games that adults and kids can play together. Then Sunday rest will not turn into just eating barbecue, but will become something more, a real holiday of communication between parents and children, which will certainly be remembered. And you will want to repeat it...

What games did your parents play with you during nature walks? This question, asked to many of my friends, has caused confusion. At best, they remembered football, volleyball, badminton. At worst, nothing. But those rare lucky ones, in whose families cooperative games they were held in high esteem in nature, they remember this with great warmth. Playing with parents is an integral part of children's development. The benefits of this are enormous. In addition to promoting health and good mood, playing together helps improve family relationships and brings children and parents closer together. The kids will be delighted when they suddenly see their ever-serious and busy dad playing leapfrog. As the wonderful psychologist V. Levi says: “Remember, didn’t you yourself dream of SUCH PARENTS? How much hope there was, how much patient expectation that someday this holiday would finally open!.. And then, without waiting... This bitter aftertaste, this secret regret that childhood did not happen..." For a child, play is "the only way to free yourself from the role of a child while remaining a child." Just like for adults, “the only way to become children again is to remain adults.”

Mom, dad, me and the ball

Usually every family, going to the forest, takes a ball with them. But often he remains bored all day, completely unclaimed. Meanwhile, besides the well-known beach volleyball, there are many other fun games with a ball that the kids will be able to do. Even the most ordinary football will bring kids a lot of joy. Especially if mom plays the role of goalkeeper. Try teaching your children to play volleyball, although this is too much for most kids difficult task. A game where the ball needs to be caught rather than hit is suitable for them. For example, this one. All the big and small players stand in a circle and begin tossing the ball around. The pace gradually increases. If any of the players drops the ball, he is eliminated from the game - leaves the circle. The remaining players remain standing in their place. So, gradually, the distance between them increases, and catching the ball becomes more and more difficult. The last one left wins. This game is not only fun entertainment, but also a good training for dexterity and coordination.

You can play a little differently. All players stand in a circle, two players facing each other have a ball in their hands. On command, players begin to pass the balls in a circle in one direction, trying to get one ball to catch up with the other. The one who has two balls receives a penalty point. You can come up with some funny task for him as punishment.

If your group is looking to get a little active, try the great yard game of stop-and-go. And at the same time, tell the kids how you once played it yourself, when you were the same mischievous boys and girls. So, all players stand in the middle of a flat area or clearing. The driver throws the ball up, calling the name of one of the participants in the game. The player whose name was called tries to catch the ball, and everyone else scatters in different directions. As soon as the player catches the ball, he shouts: “Stander-stop!” Everyone freezes in place. Now the new driver must hit one of the players with the ball. The one who is hit becomes the driver. If the thrower misses, he remains the driver. While playing this game, don’t forget in the excitement that your kids are with you. Give them the opportunity to become equal participants in the game. When calling your child, do not throw the ball high and do not run too far so that little hands can throw the ball to you. But with what joy children’s eyes will shine! After all, nothing brings parents and children closer together than playing together. It is the participation of an adult in the game on an equal basis with the child that gives the baby the opportunity to feel that mom and dad are just like him and can be trusted. Here's another fun game using a ball. Hang a ball on a rope from a tree branch so that it almost touches the ground (the ball can be placed in a net, and a rope can be tied to the net). Place several small objects under it (pine cones, pebbles, matchboxes, apples). The player takes the ball to head level, then releases it and runs to collect what is laid out on the ground. You need to collect as many items as possible and return to your place so that the swinging ball does not hit you. This game can be played one at a time and then counted collected items and determine which of the players turned out to be the fastest and most dexterous. Or you can play the same beach volleyball with the kids, just change the rules a little: you don’t need to hit the ball, but catch it. Those who don't catch sit in the center of the circle. You can “help him out” by hitting him with a ball.

Fun relay race

Shouldn't we have a relay race? A flat forest clearing, a green meadow, and even a sandy beach are quite suitable for it. Families can compete, marking the start and finish. First, moms and dads cover the distance, showing their children how to move. And then the kids try their hand. You can run like a horse, raising your knees high, or you can waddle like a penguin. Try running backwards, sideways, on all fours, or jumping while holding a ball between your knees. Cover the distance on a stick. Walk like a spider, walking on your hands and feet, face up. Elevate your baby's legs and let him try to walk on his hands. Build an obstacle course where you will need to walk along a fallen tree trunk, crawl under a branch, jump over a hole or stump. Organize a competition for the most dexterous family member. Who can carry a bump on their head without dropping it? Who will walk without slipping along a ribbon lying on the ground or a winding path drawn on the sand? You can conduct the relay race a little differently. We divide into two teams (each team can have one or more families). Mom and dad clasp their hands with a “chair” or “armchair”, the baby sits on the “throne”, and the competition begins. Each family runs to the designated tree, runs around it and returns to its team. Now only dads are joining the fight. They are given two balls. They dribble one ball in front of them with their feet, the other they throw and catch. If one of the balls falls or rolls to the side, we pick it up and continue the race. Doing these unimaginable exercises, dads run the required distance and return to the starting line. Now it’s the mothers’ turn to compete. They can, for example, cover the distance to a tree and back by tossing a shuttlecock with a badminton racket. And for the kids, prepare a bunch of pine cones in advance. The competing kids run to the cones, take one at a time and return to their team. Then he goes for the next cone, and so on until all the cones have migrated to the starting line. The one who brought the last one first wins. And the prize for everyone will be lunch in nature. After all, after such an active movement, it won’t hurt to eat properly. If you come across a fallen tree in the forest, play this fun game. Divide into two teams and stand at both ends of the trunk. The first two players walk along the “bridge” towards each other. Their task is to separate in the middle of the trunk, without pushing each other, and move to the opposite side. If one of the players could not resist, the pair completes the task first. Then the next two players show their dexterity, etc. Let the kids imagine that this is a narrow bridge over an abyss. Then they will complete the task with special zeal and passion. Try it different ways overcoming obstacles. For example, walk sideways and support each other by the hands. Or: one player crouches, and the other steps over him.

Bumps, just not on the forehead

In the pine forest you will find wonderful helpers - cones. With this natural material, which literally lies under your feet, you can come up with many fun games and activities. And even dedicate one of the family walks specifically to cones, calling it, say, “Pine cones holiday.” Imagine waking up on Sunday morning and telling your baby: “Get ready, we’re going to the forest with our friends for a picnic!” "Hurray!" - the cub screams joyfully. And you add in a mysterious voice: “Today we will have Shishkin’s holiday.” Of course, the baby is intrigued, which means the day will be full of mysteries and surprises for him.

So, what games can you play with cones? To warm up, organize a hunt for dads, chasing them a little through the forest with pine cones at the ready. Just don’t throw pine cones at dad too much - they’ll still fry the kebab... And then you can practice throwing. Where else to do this if not in nature? After all, there is no danger of falling into a chandelier or breaking your mother’s favorite vase. To do this, set to a short distance give the kids a bucket or bowl, and let them practice throwing pine cones into it while the adults prepare the fire. Or you can arrange a competition: who can throw a cone the farthest or knock a plastic bottle off a stump with a well-aimed hit. The winner will have the honorable right to be the first to try barbecue. For some time, the little hustlers will be neutralized.

But here is a game that will be interesting to play for both children and adults. Dig three small holes in the ground in a line at a distance of one or two steps from one another. Now move a few steps away from the first hole and try to throw a cone into it. If the attempt is successful, we throw a cone into the second and third holes. Then we repeat the throws in reverse order. If you miss, give way to the next player. To even the odds a little, let the kids throw the cones from a close distance, and moms and dads move further away. The most accurate one receives a prize and the honorary title “True Eye”.

Now let's play tag on a string. As the name suggests, we will need a rope to play the game. Let's tie it to a tree so that it rotates freely, and draw a circle on the ground with a radius equal to the length of the rope. Now let's scatter several dozen cones inside the circle and put one of the dads to guard the "treasures". With one hand, dad holds onto the rope, and with the other he tries to “spot” (touch) the adults or kids trying to collect the cones. Whoever gets caught leaves the game or becomes a “tag” - replacing dad at his combat post with a rope.

After the active games, it’s time to relax a little, sit by the fire and play calm games. Place a few pine cones in an opaque bag and ask the kids to guess how many there are, prompting them with the words “more” and “less.” Whoever guessed correctly checks: pours out the cones and counts them. Or play a little differently: invite each child in turn to determine how many cones are in the bag by counting them by touch. For the little ones, put only 2-3 pine cones in the bag. Then you can play like this. Organize the guys to collect more cones in a pile. Now let everyone bring from the pile as many cones as they can carry in two hands. We are counting the loot. Whoever turned out to be the most “greedy” won.

Isn't it time to run?

In the forest on fresh air You can also run. The game of tag, or tag, has many varieties. Here is one of them, called "tags with a house." It’s good to play it with kids, because they always have somewhere to hide from the driver and take a break. Draw two circles on the ground with a stick. This is at home. The driver's goal is to catch up with and touch one of the players (to smear, to tarnish). When running away, you can run into a circle where the driver cannot stain the player. The game is active and fun. Just be sure to adjust to the pace of the kids, giving them the opportunity to catch up with the adults.

How do you like the tags called “baskets”? We choose two drivers - a tag and a runaway. The remaining players sit in pairs on the clearing and join hands, forming circles-baskets. Fifteen is chasing the second player, who, running between pairs, calls the name of any player. The one whose name was called runs away, and the running player takes his place.

And here's another one fun option tag, only Brazilian. It's called "sick cat". One of the players tries to tarnish the others; he pretends to be a “healthy cat.” Players who are spotted must place their hand exactly on the spot that the driver touched. They also become “cats,” but “sick” and must help the driver in catching, and they can only spot with their free hand. The last player remaining wins and becomes the "healthy cat" in next game. And in the Russian version of this game, called "pike", the spotted players cling to the driver like a train and so they all continue the game together.

Another simple and fun game is “crap by the tree”. Before starting the game, select a driver using a counting rhyme. Kids will be happy to tell their favorite rhyme, learned in kindergarten. But you can surprise them by remembering the rhymes of your childhood or introducing them to beautiful folk rhymes:

The player who gets the last word becomes the driver. He stands in the center of the clearing. The rest are near the trees. Mark each tree where the player is located with bright ribbons. Only these trees will participate in the game. Then the players begin to run from tree to tree. The driver's task is to occupy the tree without a player. The one whose place at the tree is occupied becomes the driver.

Kids will certainly enjoy the game of cat and mouse. This is an old Russian game, very easy and fun. First, two drivers are selected - a cat and a mouse. The remaining players stand in a circle and join hands. The “mouse” runs inside the circle, the “cat” runs outside. The “cat” is trying to break into the circle and catch the “mouse”, and the players are trying to stop it and not let it pass. The “cat” can get into the circle in any way: break through the chain of players, crawl under clasped hands, or climb over them. If she succeeds, the players quickly release the “mouse” from the circle, and try to detain the “cat” again. If the “cat” managed to catch the “mouse”, new drivers are selected. Select one of the kids with the “mouse” and dad with the “cat”. Unforgettable fun is guaranteed!

Forgotten old

Let's play leapfrog! This is very ancient game, existing in Rus' for more than five centuries. It develops dexterity, coordination, courage and strength. Dads get down on all fours, and babies and mothers, running, jump over them, resting their hands on their backs. The little ones just need to climb over dad. Older children can jump, but at first they need to be supported. It's a lot of fun to switch places. We jump over the mothers, and then over the babies (of course, leaning on their backs purely symbolically).

The undeservedly forgotten fun game "stream" will give you a lot of fun minutes. This is how they play it. All players, except one, become pairs one after another, the pairs hold hands and raise them up, forming a corridor. The remaining player passes through the corridor, taking one of the players with him along the way. Coming out of the corridor, the new couple becomes the “tail” of the chain. And the player left without a pair dives into the “corridor” and chooses a new pair. The game continues until you get bored. The faster the stream flows, the merrier. And it’s generally fun to play with kids, because you literally have to crawl under the low arch of children’s hands.

Even with a small group you can start a handkerchief game. This children's game looks like a lot of fun when played as a family. All players squat in a circle. The driver runs behind them in the outer circle, holding a handkerchief in his hand. Unnoticed, he throws a handkerchief behind one of the players. If the player did not notice this, and the driver, after making a circle, touched him, he becomes the new driver. If a player notices a thrown handkerchief, he grabs it and runs in a circle after the driver. If you catch up, the driver remains the same. If he didn’t catch up and the driver managed to sit in the vacant seat, the player becomes the driver.

Surely you yourself will remember many fun games that you played with friends in childhood. Many of them are quite within the capabilities of children; you just need to slightly simplify the rules. This includes “potatoes”, and “higher than your feet off the ground”, and “grandma, the threads are tangled!” Forgot how to play grandma? It doesn’t matter, we’ll remember now. We gather adults and children in a circle. This will be a "tangle". We choose a driver - “grandmother”. If you are relaxing at the dacha with the whole family, you can choose a real grandmother to play the role of driver. “Grandma” turns away, and “tangle” holds hands and “gets entangled.” Here you can step over each other’s hands, twist, but observe the main condition: do not let go of your hands. Now everyone is shouting loudly: “Grandma, grandma, the threads are tangled!” The grandmother must unravel the merry bunch so that it forms a circle again, but the players’ hands cannot be separated...

Gatherings by the fire

Having run around, jumped and gorged on barbecue, it’s time to take a break and sit with the whole honest company around the fire. It's great if one of the adults plays the guitar. Then you can sing a few songs with the kids.

There are games that are good to play this way, sitting in a circle. And, despite their apparent simplicity, they are very useful for children: they develop attention and teach concentration. Play, for example, “damaged phone”. The first player quickly says a word in his neighbor's ear. He, in turn, passes on what he heard to the next player. When the word goes around the circle, the last player calls it. Very rarely does a word correspond to the original version. Is there similar game, which is called "associations". It can be played with older preschoolers. Just first clearly explain to the kids, using specific examples, what associations are. So, the first player pronounces a word into the neighbor’s ear, and he must quickly pass on his first association with this word. Let's say, "elephant - Africa" or "coffee - black". So, from player to player, the word will transform, and the final version may be quite unexpected.

Do you remember the cute children's game of "gardener"? For this, kids will need some knowledge of botany. Each player is called a flower. The driver says:

The named flower should quickly respond:

Now the “rose” responds in the same way, and the game continues.

By the blue water surface

Relaxing by the water is wonderful in itself. The opportunity to splash around, lie on the warm sand, build sand castles and dig deep wells and trenches brings so much joy to children. But sometimes you just get tired of all this and want something more. You can also organize fun family games on the beach. For example, these.

Announce to your friends in advance that there will be a “splash device competition” on the beach. Let each family jointly invent and build an original sprinkler. On a hot summer day, children will be happy to try out inventions, and adults will choose the best sprinklers in different categories: “Originality”, “Range”, etc.

In order to keep the kids on the shore and give them the opportunity to bask in the sun, play the frog game. Gather the adults and children and sit in a circle. In the middle - the driver with eyes closed(to be sure, so as not to peep, you can blindfold your eyes). Player says:

At this moment, someone sitting in the circle says: “Kwa-kwa!” And the driver must guess who the frog is by his voice.

The game “pike and frog” will help you continue the “frog” theme and warm up after a long swim. We choose a mother or father as a pike, and for the little “frogs” we draw circles-houses in the sand. The “little frogs” frolic in the open air, and when the “pike” appears, they hide in the houses. Caught frogs become pikes and take part in the hunt. After each hunt, the two “houses” on the sand are erased, and the task of the frogs becomes more complicated: now they need to huddle in one small house, several people at a time.

And when it’s time to get ready to go home (but the kids don’t want to!), organize a fun speed shoeing game. Adult participation is encouraged. Draw a circle with a stick in the sand with a radius of about 3 m. Place the shoes of all players in the center of the circle and mix. At the command “Shoeing has begun!” players run into a circle, find their shoes, put them on and return outside the circle. Whoever has been digging the longest completes some task for the entire company. With such a good mood, leaving the beach will be more fun.

Have a nice holiday and fun games!
