When overtaking:

Start your maneuver when you are at least 60 meters from the truck that is driving in front of you (You can always check the distance using on keyboard)
Stay in your lane
When you are sure that the other driver is 100 meters behind, you can move back into your lane
If the driver turns on the light or honks 2 times, it means that you can change back safely for him (in his game client you take a safe distance for maneuver), even if you have not yet moved 100 meters ahead

When you are overtaken:

Stay in your lane
- If you are driving 90 km/h, you need to slow down so that the other driver can overtake you
- When there is sufficient distance between you and the overtaking person (60 m should be enough), turn on your turn signal (or blink your headlights 2 times if it is at night) to signal that he can overtake

Hopefully, if everyone follows these rules, the road will be much safer.

Many people don't know how to install them. In order to install the mod, you will need to perform very few steps, which will be discussed below. The installation is very simple and after several mod installations, you will automatically be accustomed to this action, and you will do the next mod installations automatically. Everyone is installed according to one single principle, that is, similarly. And if some non-standard installation is required, then the author of the mod will definitely write about it and it will be attached in the archive. If such instructions are not in the archive, then the installation of the mod is standard. Actually, look below:

In chapter " Installed mods"Modes will be displayed, where you need to check the box next to the one you need and click "Apply changes".

All. The mod is installed. Have a good game!

If you are kicked out of the game when loading or it freezes while loading, then it is likely that the mod is not compatible with the version of the game. The solution is this: either install another version if you need exactly the mod that you downloaded. Or we are simply looking for a similar mod for your version of the game. That's all.

At the moment, many different modifications have been released for the game Euro Truck Simulator, which change the game in one way or another, making it better, more interesting and more varied. Such mods can change completely different aspects of the game: graphics, gameplay, balance, models, landscape, tasks, interface, and so on. Of course, each modification requires proper installation. For most mods, you just need to copy the file to the correct folder and confirm that the mod is activated in the game.

First you need to download the mod itself. By clicking the button on the mod page, you will save it to your computer. Mods are downloaded in archives, so after downloading, the mod needs to be opened with an archiver, like WinRAR or 7-zip. The archive will contain the mod files themselves and readme files, which, in fact, contain instructions for installing the mod. In most cases, files from the archive need to be unzipped into the folder:
My Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/mod

If there are already files with the same name, you first need to make copies of them (in case of conflicts), then replace the existing files with new ones.

Once this is done, you need to launch the game. In the main menu on the right side of the screen there is a “Modifications” button, you should click it. You will see modification modules (files that are dropped into the mod folder). Double clicking on a module will activate it.

That's it, the mod is installed and activated, now you can boot (if the mod does not require starting new game) and continue playing the already updated ETS 2.
