"Educational games V.V.

The impetus for the invention of games was our own children. They were born to physicist engineer Vyacheslav Voskobovich during the era of Perestroika, and trips to toy stores drove the young father into depression. They offered games that our grandmothers' grandmothers had played.

And there was already active talk in the country about alternative pedagogy. And Vyacheslav Valerievich decided to make his own contribution to advanced methods of education.

Technology "Fairy tale labyrinths games"

Methods usually have two paths: one - from a certain theoretical position to its practical confirmation (Waldor kindergarten), the other - on the contrary, from practical experience, through its generalization, to theoretical justification. Voskobovich’s technology is precisely the path from practice to theory. Why technology and not methodology? In principle, these are very similar concepts. And the term “pedagogical technology” appeared in pedagogy quite recently. The methods are more representative of the substantive aspects, while the technologies are more focused on the procedural ones.

Game Features

Structural elements In "Geokont" the design tool is a dynamic "elastic band", the distinctive properties of the "Voskobovich Square" are rigidity and flexibility at the same time, the structural element in the "Transparent Square" is a transparent plate with an opaque part, and in the "Cord-entertainer" it is a lace and block.

Wide age range of participants

The same game attracts children both three and seven years old, and sometimes even students high school. This is possible because it contains both one- and two-step exercises for kids, as well as complex multi-step tasks for older children.

Multifunctionality

With one game you can solve a large number of educational problems. Unnoticed by yourself, the baby masters numbers and letters; recognizes and remembers color, shape; trains fine motor skills hands; improves speech, thinking, attention, memory, imagination.

Universality in relation to educational programs.

As practice has shown, games fit perfectly into the programs of educational institutions, for example, “Childhood”, “Development”, “Rainbow”.

Creative potential

What game does your child play with the longest? Of course, with the one that gives him the opportunity to turn his “ideas” into reality. How many interesting things can be invented and made from the details of “Miracle Puzzles”, multi-colored “webs” of “Geokont”, “eternal origami” of “Voskobovich Square”: cars, planes, ships, butterflies and birds, knights and princesses - a whole fairy world! Games provide an opportunity for adults to be creative.

Fabulous "cut"

Children's interest in fairy tales is both an additional motivation and a model of mediated learning. The children are happy to play not with squares, triangles and trapezoids, but with the Non-melting Ice of Lake Ice and the multi-colored webs of the Yuk Spider; they do not study fractions, but solve the secrets of the Miracle Flower together with Baby Geo. New, unusual and non-standard always attracts the attention of children and is better remembered.

Let's get to know each other better

A clear idea of how these general provisions manifest themselves in practice can be obtained by familiarizing yourself with at least the two most famous games - “Geokont” and “Voskobovich Square”.

"Geokont" People call this game "a board with nails." But for the kids, this is not just a board, but a fairy tale “Little Geo, Raven Meter and I, Uncle Slava,” in which plastic nails attached to plywood (the playing field) are called “silver.”

A coordinate grid is applied to the Geokont playing field. “Spider webs” (multi-colored rubber bands) are stretched onto “silver” nails, and the contours of geometric shapes and object silhouettes are obtained. Children create them following the example of an adult or according to their own ideas, and older children - according to a sample diagram and verbal model. Primary and secondary school students use this game to prove theorems. After all, the very title of the fairy tale contains the word “geometry”. As a result, children develop motor skills of the hand and fingers, sensory abilities (sensation of color, shape, size), mental processes (designing according to a verbal model, constructing symmetrical and asymmetrical figures, searching for and establishing patterns), and creative abilities.

"Voskobovich Square" ("Game Square")

This game has many “folk” names - “Maple Leaf”, “Klondike”, “Eternal Origami”. All this is essentially true. The "game square" consists of 32 rigid triangles glued to a flexible base on both sides. Thanks to this design, the square can be easily transformed, allowing you to design both planar and volumetric figures. In the fairy tale "The Mystery of the Raven Meter" the square comes to life and turns into images: a house, a mouse, a hedgehog, a shoe, an airplane and a kitten. Two-year-old children, with the help of an adult, put together a house with a red or green roof and a piece of candy. Older children master the design algorithm and find hidden objects in the “house” geometric figures, come up with their own subject silhouettes.

A square can be cut in a certain way. For example, a cross cut gives unusual three-dimensional shapes. It is possible to manipulate its elements - a kind of finger theater.

Games with the "Voskobovich Square" develop fine motor skills of the hands, spatial thinking, sensory abilities, thought processes, design skills, and creativity.

Basic principles of technology

Game plus fairy tale

The first principle of the "Fairytale Mazes Game" technology is game-based learning children preschool age. Its peculiarity is that almost the entire process of a child’s learning is actually built in this game. “Fairytale labyrinth games” are a form of interaction between adults and children through the implementation of a certain plot (games and fairy tales). At the same time, educational tasks are included in the content of the game.

Methodological fairy tales also provide additional gaming motivation. A system of questions, tasks, exercises, and tasks is organically woven into their plots. It’s very convenient - an adult reads a fairy tale, a child listens to it and, as the story progresses, answers questions, solves problems, and completes assignments.

Intelligence

The second principle of Voskobovich’s technology is the construction of such a nursery play activity, as a result of which the mental processes of attention, memory, imagination, thinking, and speech develop. Permanent and gradual complication games (“in a spiral”) allows you to maintain children’s activity in the zone of optimal difficulty. In each game, the child always achieves some kind of “objective” result.

It is no coincidence that so much attention is paid to the development of intelligence in preschool children. At this age, they usually develop verbal, that is, “acquired” intelligence. The mother reads books to the child, looks at encyclopedias with him, and takes him to museums. As a result, he knows a lot and has heard a lot. School teachers call such children “trained.” But there is no guarantee that such children will study well in the future. And non-verbal, that is, “innate” intelligence, may be poorly developed in them. What is innate intelligence? These are mental processes of attention, the ability to analyze, synthesize, the formation of cause-and-effect relationships, fine motor skills, and memory. Voskobovich’s games are primarily aimed at their development, and one of the conceptual provisions of the “Fairytale Mazes Games” technology is the development of non-verbal intelligence in children.

The authors of the "Fairy Tale Mazes Game" technology are not supporters of accelerated early development of children. All material is sensitive, that is, most favorable for the perception of preschool children, taking into account their psychological characteristics.

Creation

The third principle of the "Fairy Tale Labyrinths Game" is early creative development preschoolers. The game creates conditions for creativity and stimulates development creativity child. The adult can only use this natural need to gradually involve the children in more complex forms of play activity.

Developmental environment - Purple Forest

In essence, this is a developing sensorimotor zone. It is made from plywood, carpet, painted on the wall, or fabric. The child acts here independently: plays, designs, practicing the skills that he acquired in joint activities with an adult. In the Violet Forest there are sure to be fairy tale characters— Invisible All, Raven Meter, Baby Geo, Lopushok and others.

Methods for implementing technology

The features of the "Fairy Tale Labyrinths Game" are such that there is no need to rebuild the work of the institution or break the usual way of life at home. Technology is organically woven into existing orders. In the “adult-child” relationship, the position of the adult over the child is not assumed here, only a partnership relationship. The child is surrounded by a relaxed, cheerful, intellectual and creative atmosphere. It is woven from a feeling of external security, when the child knows that his manifestations will not receive a negative assessment from adults, and a feeling of internal relaxation due to the support of his creative endeavors.

results

Studies conducted in kindergartens using Voskobovich technology have shown that there are many children in groups with normal, high and very high intelligence. (Gradation of changes intellectual development looks like this: below average intelligence, average intelligence, normal, high, very high, excellent). It is best for children to develop understanding, the ability to analyze and compare. Five- and six-year-old children know how to concentrate when performing complex mental operations and finish what they start. Three-year-old children easily distinguish and name yellow, red, blue, and do not confuse green, purple, blue, orange and other colors. I would especially like to note high level development of finger and hand motor skills of children's hands. In addition, the guys with whom we worked according to Voskobovich have no problems with counting, knowledge of geometric shapes, or the ability to navigate on a plane. They start reading early. The issue of children’s motivational readiness for school has also been resolved. Children who are gradually moving to the adult “form” of learning and have “played enough” in preschool childhood want to go to school and learn for the sake of learning itself. And, as a rule, they do it well and with interest.

Games to teach reading

"Voskobovich's Teremki" is a basic development. There is a cube, there is a tower. We put the cube into the Teremok - it turns out to be a merger. This is how words are formed. In total, the set includes 12 cubes, 12 towers. It is impossible to describe the entire game within the scope of this article. Let's focus only on two cubes - blue and green, the so-called initial stage cubes. What's on them? On five sides there is a letter and an image, on the sixth there is a hint where which letter is located. Each letter is represented by jesters, adopting its pose. In the letter A pose - Harlequin. If the jester represents the letter O, then his name is Orlekin. What if U? - Urlequin. Yarlekin, Yrlekin, Yurlekin are fairy-tale characters with whom a child is for the time being more interesting than with a friend.

"Letter Constructor" allows you to construct any letter of the alphabet from elements. Elements can be attached to the field with an elastic cord or laid out on the table.

"Igrovisor" and the "Letter Labyrinths" application. “Walking” through the labyrinths with a marker, the child gets acquainted with letters and makes up words. Each letter has its own labyrinth.

Reading books 1 × 2. Games to develop reading skills. We bend the corners alternately and get different words. There are 4 words on a small “patch” (reading area), and in total there are more than a hundred of them in each game.

Carpet "Larchik", strings ("stick" to the rug). It allows you to solve a wide variety of problems in a playful way. For example: “There were two trees growing in the forest - one tall, the other low. (We place a long and short rope close to each other on the rug). The tall tree loved to boast: “I am the tallest tree, I am the strongest.” And the low one The tree stood in the shadow of the tall one, sighed and was silent. Somehow the wind wandered into those forests. Which tree did it notice? short (we bend a long rope to get the letter I). The last thing the tall tree managed to shout: “Help-and-and-and...” For a long, long time the last sound carried the forest echo. Which sound? Sound I. And what letter did we build - the letter I. Sound and letter - through a fairy tale, through an image, through children's hands. “Chamomile”, “Apple Tree”, “Sailboat”, “Snowman” - These are new products for 2004. Each of them allows you to write more than 20 words... with a string.

With mother and father

You can and should create a developing environment at home, and not necessarily in the form of a Purple Forest. Is it possible to play these games without the author's fairy tales? Of course you can. Adults just need to come up with their own way to attract the child's attention to the game. Today, dozens of games, manuals, and educational game complexes are offered with the Voskobovich Educational Games logo. This year, Vyacheslav Vadimovich and his colleagues plan to release the “parent” version of the “Fairy Tale Mazes Game” technology.

Voskobovich's technique is not just games. This is a flight of fancy, fabulous stories and excellent preparation for school. Make it yourself using a board...

Most modern toys are disposable and useless; a child quickly gets bored with them and turns out to be a waste of money. It's just Voskobovich's game! Created by a loving father for his own children, they are multifunctional, interesting to children of almost all ages, and allow them to create and imagine. Voskobovich's method is extremely popular both among teachers of children's development institutions and among ordinary parents who are not indifferent to the development of children.

Of course, this does not mean that you can just buy games and wait for the baby to begin to develop before your eyes. For them to “work” you need to know their features and follow the author’s recommendations.

A few words about Voskobovich

Vyacheslav Vadimovich is a physicist by education. He was forced to plunge into pedagogy by vital necessity and love for his own children. He raised them during the difficult times of “perestroika,” when he couldn’t afford to buy high-quality educational toys, and there was still no assortment. Realizing that he had two options - to let the children’s development take its course or to create something himself, he chose the second option. And, inspired by the works of Zaitsev and Nikitin, Vyacheslav Vadimovich developed his own set of games, which can provide not only leisure for children, but also their full development.

Three pillars of gaming technology

Today, Voskobovich’s method includes about 50 games. Each of them is a universal creative tool that makes a child's learning fun and relaxed. This is achieved thanks to the fairy-tale orientation of all games, in which the main characters help children remember numbers, shapes and letters.

In addition, the games are quite multifunctional and aimed at the comprehensive development of the individual. They make it easy to learn reading and counting, while at the same time promoting the development of logic, thinking, memory, and training fine motor skills.

Much attention is paid to Voskobovich’s technology and the development of the child’s creative abilities. Performance unusual tasks makes him use his imagination and be creative.

Thus, all games are developed on three important principles: interest - cognition - creativity.

What is the secret of the popularity of games?

When creating his games, Voskobovich was primarily guided by the interests of the child himself, and only then solved educational problems.

From fairy tale to fairy tale

Knowing how children love fairy tales, he used them in special methodological manuals. Reading them with their parents, the children plunge into the extraordinary adventures of their favorite characters.

Familiarize:

To cope with evil, children need to perform various interesting tasks. So, unnoticed by the children, the games turn into learning, where the properties of geometric shapes are studied with the Unmelting Ice Pieces and the rubber webs of the Yuk Spider, and fractions are comprehended with the Miracle Flower and Baby Geo.

Age is not a barrier

Such games will captivate even adults, although they are designed for children from 2 to 7 years old. Depending on age, the task simply becomes more complicated and the number of actions to solve it increases. The same game will be beneficial for several years.

Structural elements

The materials used for construction are not entirely traditional for games: dynamic elastic in “Geokont”, plastic elements glued to fabric in “Kvadrat”.

Imagery and versatility

The game is intriguing and captivating for little ones. To achieve results and get emotional satisfaction, he has to think, imagine, analyze, and select solutions. And the adult, not as a leader, but as an equal partner, participates in the game, directing learning in the right direction. The simplicity and originality of the exercises allows you to use Voskobovich’s technology at home, in classes in kindergarten, and in a development group.

This is surprising, but the method has no downsides or negative reviews. Many preschool institutions have tried it, and there is hardly a child who has not been captivated by it and has not benefited from it.

About the most famous

All Voskobovich’s games can be divided into several types:

  • developing logical and mathematical abilities (“Geokont-constructor”, “Voskobovich Square”, the boat “Plyukh-Plyukh”, “Digital Circus”, etc.);
  • teaching reading (“Voskobovich’s Teremki”, “Reader on Balls”, “Snowman”, “Letter Constructor”).

"Geocont"

It is a plywood board on which a coordinate grid is depicted and 33 plastic nails are nailed. The game also comes with “webs” - multi-colored rubber bands and an illustrated manual with multi-level tasks and extraordinary journeys of the heroes.

This game is an excellent tool for training fine motor skills, and also helps to remember colors, shapes, develops the ability to model, navigate a coordinate system, compare diagrams, and teaches you to think outside the box.

It’s easy to make with your own hands using any board and push pins.

It is also called the “Game Square”, “Maple Leaf”, “Eternal Origami”. This is a flexible field on which 32 plastic triangles are glued in two or four colors (depending on the difficulty of the game).

The unique design allows you to transform the square into great amount flat and volumetric figures with different patterns. Two-year-olds can easily assemble a house or a hedgehog, while older children work according to the schemes suggested in the application or invent their own images.

Together with mother Trapezium and a whole family of geometric figures, the child learns to design, model, think abstractly and navigate in space.

The ship "Plush-Plush"

Made in the form of a model of a five-masted ship, “Plyukh-Plyukh” will appeal to children aged 2 years. Instead of sails, it has colored flags that can be strung on wooden yards. This alternative to the pyramid will teach you to count, distinguish colors, and deal with fine motor skills.

He also has a brother “Splash-Splash” - the idea is the same, only in this case the boat is glued to the carpet and the sails are with Velcro.

"Chamomile"

For kids 2-3 years old it will be an excellent lacing trainer, and for older children it will help them form words. By the way, you can come up with up to 200 of them! This is such a simple but entertaining game.

"Letter constructor"

It is one of the best tools for successfully memorizing letters. Consists of a plywood base and rubber bands that hold the elements of the letters. Interesting way take a fresh look at learning the alphabet.

"Teremki"

Another great simulator for learning to read. The set includes cubes representing vowels and blocks with consonants. To get a syllable, you need to place a vowel in the tower. And if you connect the towers, you can form a word.

To memorize letters faster, Vadim Vyacheslavovich created each one with its own unique image. For example, vowels are indicated by fairy-tale characters - jesters.

Learning to read occurs in three stages: memorizing letters - adding syllables - composing words.

Voskobovich's technique is not just games. This is a flight of fancy, fabulous stories and excellent preparation for school. Together with your child, come up with new adventures for heroes, and let development bring you only joy.

I once already wrote about how you can stimulate the development of a child with early age, and today I want to tell you about Voskobovich’s educational games. This is a unique set of diverse gaming aids aimed at teaching a child basic knowledge within the playing space.

Voskobovich's games develop memory, observation, imagination, and creative thought. They help to master mathematical concepts, teach them to distinguish letters and sounds, and develop reading skills. The most interesting thing is that Voskobovich’s educational games will be interesting and therefore useful not only for preschoolers, but also for younger schoolchildren. They not only teach, practice skills and consolidate skills, in each game the child lives through various plots and events together with fairy-tale characters.

History of game creation and Voskobovich’s methodology

Vyacheslav Vladimirovich Voskobovich never specifically connected his life with pedagogy. He is a physics engineer by profession. But the circumstances in his native country were such that the young father Voskobovich had to delve into pedagogy headlong.

When Vyacheslav Vladimirovich had children, he seriously thought about their comprehensive development. Unfortunately, in those years there was no large selection among x games, and those innovative teachers who proposed early learning methods advised making all games from scrap materials. Inspired by the works of Zaitsev and Nikitin, Voskobovich decided to create something completely new that would be interesting not only to his children, but also to their peers.

Vyacheslav Voskobovich may not have had a pedagogical education, but his intuition in choosing methods for raising his children opened the doors of real pedagogical creativity for him. When creating his first game, he came up with an interesting fairy tale, during which the heroes must solve a riddle together with the guys new game and make an interesting discovery.

Later in his technology, Voskobovich will say that not a single game can be disposable, that it needs a good plot accompaniment. Creating a fabulous, methodological space for each developmental and teaching aid in Voskobovich’s technology is key. Main feature its technology is that it is easy to implement into ordinary game process without changing or rebuilding the usual framework. And the adult in these fairy tales becomes a full partner of the child, without regard to age or experience.

This is probably why all Voskobovich’s educational games have an interesting, mysterious fairy-tale world populated by different heroes and characters. By the way, this technology quickly caught the taste of many parents in St. Petersburg, and soon became an interesting discovery for kindergartens throughout Russia.

Today, many cities are creating clubs for parents who want to teach their child using Voskobovich’s games; kindergartens, clubs, and hobby groups operate using his technology. Over the last decade, the author has released more than 50 games, covering different age categories, but interesting both for children of three years old and for those who are already in primary school.

What is the reason for such popularity of Voskobovich’s educational games and can they be used at home, and not in the garden, circle, or club? Let's figure it out together.

Voskobovich's most famous games

All educational games by Voskobovich are divided into types:

1. Games aimed at logical and mathematical development. Among them stands out Geocon constructor .

This manual is a playing field with rays-axes and geometric shapes marked with letters. At each point of intersection of the rays there is a nail with a number. By pulling special rubber bands between the nails, the child can create various shapes and segments, as in the manual or using his imagination.

By using Geocon the first ones are formed mathematical representations, there is an acquaintance with geometric shapes, and the consolidation of knowledge of colors. At its core, it is a unique and multifaceted educational game that you can purchase in stores or create yourself.

A child can add all kinds of geometric shapes from them, training memory, fine motor skills, and expanding his understanding of geometric concepts.

Voskobovich squares small in size and can be taken with you on trips, to clinics and even for walks.

Another play space in mastering mathematical concepts is Ship Splash-Splash. This is a game for the little ones. Model of a five-masted ship. Each mast has multi-colored flags strung on it.

The baby can easily take them off and put them back on. With such a guide, you can begin to master counting, you can learn to distinguish colors, you can develop memory and imagination. Moreover, this manual perfectly replaces the pyramid and develops fine motor skills.

There is also an alternative version of this game.

A universal game aid that is suitable for both small children and primary schoolchildren. With his help, in the summer we practice counting with our son, and with our daughter we learn numbers and signs. It's about O " Digital Circus “.

2. Games with letters, sounds, words.

A special place among Voskobovich’s educational games is occupied by Teremki Voskobovich .
This is a real author’s method for early learning to read through games. There are 24 dice in the game. 12 cubes of teremoks are consonant letters, and 12 cubes of tab-windows are vowel letters. With the help of this game, kids learn to put letters into syllables and syllables into words. Natural reading skills are developed in a playful, child-friendly environment.

A series of games “Chamomile”, “Snowman”, “Apple Tree” will teach our children word creativity.

Some examples of fairy tales for joint games

I mentioned above that all of Voskobovich’s educational games have a fairy-tale component. I'll tell you a little more about this.

So, for children from 3 to 10 years old, Vyacheslav Vladimirovich developed a whole technique called “Fairytale labyrinths of games.” The world in which the development of characters and all the adventures associated with them takes place is called the “Purple Forest”, and it is divided into many zones, territories and houses. For each of his games, Voskobovich came up with a storyline and a problem that the child solves together with the character.

Boy Geo, with whom we travel

IN « Geokone" The unlucky spider Yukk decided to make a beautiful web for the boy Geo, but he was very thirsty and went to the store to buy juice. While he was away, his grandson decided to help and unknowingly tangled all the threads of the web.

Spider Yukk

Now Grandpa Spider doesn’t know how to unravel everything and ask for help. He wanted to please Geo so much.
Then the child is asked to reconstruct the cobweb pattern using the coordinates.

"Game Square" , or eternal origami. Here you can fantasize together with your child. Triangles on a square field are arranged like this. That you can create a house for a dog, a birdhouse for a crow and much more. You can create silhouettes of a mouse or cat. In principle, there are no restrictions here. The author himself says that the game should live, and therefore, by connecting your creative thought, you will imbue the game with energy.

Another interesting guide to educational games by Voskobovich: "Transparent square". These are 30 transparent plates with images of squares, rhombuses, trapezoids and triangles printed on them.

The presenter tells a fairy tale that the boy Geo decided to visit his grandmother, and the raven Meter, seeing him off on the road, gave ice to Ice as a souvenir. The boy was surprised by such a gift, but the raven made a figure of a horse from pieces of ice and Geo was able to ride part of the way on a magic horse.

Create transparent squares yourself

But the most interesting and mysterious game awaits the little tracker Geo in an enchanted meadow. Only people can help you get through it and not get lost. "Letter constructor" , since in order to find the right path and disenchant all objects, you need to match the letters to the enchanted words.

In such a simple playful form, traveling through the fairy-tale worlds of Voskobovich’s educational games, the child masterscounting, reading and even basic geometric concepts. It is very easy to create such a space in a children's room. You can buy everything you need in stores. You can sew and cut out decorations. But the main thing is not to teach a child through games, but by playing a fairy tale to learn something new and unusual with him.

You won’t even notice how Voskobovich’s educational games will color your life with the bright colors of fun learning!

« Geokont » or "plate with carnations". Plastic nails are attached to the plywood playing field, onto which multi-colored elastic bands are pulled, and the contours of geometric shapes and object silhouettes are obtained. Children create silhouettes based on an adult’s demonstration and their own ideas; older children create silhouettes based on a sample diagram and a verbal model (on the playing field « Geokonta» , Unlike similar games, a coordinate grid is applied).

Playing with « Geocontom» Children develop sensorimotor abilities (mastery of color, shape, size, creative thinking.

Working according to Voskobovich’s method, I wanted every child to have such a square. I decided to show you how to make a simplified version" Geokonta"with my own hands. I’m sharing with you, maybe someone will find it useful.

"Educational games by V.V. Voskobovich"

Biography.

Vyacheslav Vadimovich was born in Zaporozhye. He spent his school years in Kherson, from there he went to Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), where he graduated from the Polytechnic Institute with a degree in physics engineer. After serving two years in the army, he returned to his hometown. In addition to physics, he had a parallel hobby - he participated in the bard movement: he wrote poetry, music, songs, and performed at various venues.

As Vyacheslav Vadimovich Voskobovich himself admits, he was “brought” into pedagogy by his own children and sons. In the early 90s, V. Voskobovich’s technique was born. Vyacheslav Vadimovich began to be invited to seminars in St. Petersburg.

In 1993, the first traveling seminar took place in Krasnodar.

In the early 90s, Vyacheslav Vadimovich Voskobovich organized a company producing games. At the moment, this is Voskobovich Educational Games LLC - the only manufacturer of games and benefits; recorded two discs of songs for adults.

It’s not for nothing that they say that a talented person is talented in everything.

Characteristics of Voskobovich's educational games:

1. Multifunctionality

In each game you can solve a large number of educational and educational tasks. Unbeknownst to yourself, the baby masters numbers or letters; recognizes and remembers color, shape; trains fine motor skills of the hands; improves speech, thinking, attention, memory, imagination.

2. Wide age range of game participants

The same game attracts children both three and seven years old, and sometimes even high school students. This is possible because it contains both one- and two-step exercises for kids, as well as complex multi-step tasks for older children.

3. Creativity

Games give the child the opportunity to translate his plans into reality. A lot of interesting things can be made from the details of the “Miracle Puzzles”, the multi-colored “webs” of the “Geokont”, and the flexible “Game Square”. Cars, planes, ships, butterflies and birds, knights and princesses - a whole fairy-tale world! Games provide an opportunity to be creative not only for children, but also for adults.

4. Structural elements

Each game has its own unique design elements. In "Geokont" it is a dynamic "elastic band", in "Game Square" it is rigidity and flexibility at the same time.

Methodological support was developed for educational games - the game technology “Fairytale Mazes Games” (authors Voskobovich V.V., Kharko T.G.), which is aimed at the intellectual and creative development of children 3-7 years old. The reviewers of the technology were Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy of the Institute of Childhood and the Russian State Pedagogical University named after. A.I. Herzen Krulekht M.V. and Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Preschool Pedagogy, Institute of Childhood and Russian State Pedagogical University named after A.I. Herzen Polyakova M.N. The peculiarities of the technology are such that there is no need to rebuild the work of the institution, break the usual way of life and build a new one. Technology is organically woven into the already familiar rhythm of life and the educational objectives of the implemented program. In preschool institutions using this technology, the child is surrounded by a relaxed, cheerful, intellectual and creative atmosphere that does not evoke negative emotions. Like lace from thin threads, it is woven from a feeling of external security, when the child knows that his manifestations will not receive a negative assessment from adults, and a feeling of internal relaxation and freedom due to the support of adults for his creative endeavors.

Basic principles of technology

  • Game plus fairy tale

Constant and gradual complication of games (“in a spiral”) makes it possible to maintain children’s activity in the zone of optimal difficulty. In each game, the child always achieves some kind of “objective” result.

The third principle of the “Fairytale Mazes Game” is the early creative development of preschool children. The game creates conditions for creativity and stimulates the development of the child’s creative abilities. The adult can only use this natural need to gradually involve the children in more complex forms of play activity.

  • Developmental environment - Purple Forest

In essence, this is a developing sensorimotor zone. It is made from plywood, carpet, painted on the wall, or fabric. The child acts here independently: plays, designs, and trains the skills that he acquired in joint activities with an adult. There are always fairy-tale characters in the Violet Forest.

Each game occupies a specific area in the Violet Forest and has its own character:

  • Game "Geokont" - Wonderful Glade of Golden Fruits, characters - Baby Geo, Raven Meter, Spider Yuk, spiderlings Rombik, Plusik, Question, Wrapper, Ray.
  • Game "Geovisor" - School of Magic, characters - Okolesik, Dwarves Divide-Unite, More-Less, Twist-Turn, Appear-Disappear.
  • Game "Voskobovich Square" (two-color) - Wonderful Glade of Golden Fruits, characters - Raven Meter.
  • Game “Voskobovich Square” (four-color) – Wonderful Glade of Golden Fruits, characters – jesters Dion, Dwan, Trin.
  • Game "Transparent Square" - Lake Ice, characters - Guardian of Lake Ice, Baby Geo, Raven Meter, Invisible All.
  • Game "Transparent Number" - Digital Circus, characters - Magnolik.
  • Games “Math Baskets”, “Counting Truck” - Digital Circus, characters Magnolik, Hedgehog One, Bunny Two, Mouse Three, Rat Four, Dog Five, Cat Six, Crocodile Seven, Monkey Eight, Fox Nine.
  • Set "Igrovisor" - Ant Country, characters - Okolesik, Queen Murana and her servants, the ant Murashik.
  • Set “Casket” - Carpet Glade, characters Lopushok and Fifa the Caterpillar.
  • Games “Miracle Crosses”, “Miracle Honeycombs” - Miracle Islands, characters - Zhuzha the Bee, Timoshka the Kitten, Karchik the Little Gal, Mishik the Bear, Krabych the Crab.
  • Game “Miracle Flower” - Glade of Wonderful Flowers, characters – Baby Geo, girl Dolka.
  • Game "Voskobovich's Teremki" - City Talking Parrots, characters - Jesters Harlekin, Orlekin, Urlekin, Yrlekin, Erlekin, Yarlekin, Erlekin, Yurlekin, Irlekin, Erlekin.
  • Games "Number Constructor" - City of Talking Parrots, characters - parrots Enik and Banik.
  • Games “Letter Constructor”, “Cord-entertainer” - Digital Circus, characters - Philemon Cotterfield.
  • Games "Logoforms" - characters - Exclamation.

You will meet these characters in fairy tales for each game.

Examples of games

1. “Teremki Voskobovich”- basic development. There is a cube, there is a tower. The cube is placed in the tower - a syllable is obtained. This construction helps children understand the principle of merging sounds in a syllable. Houses with cubes are connected together and thus words are formed. A total of 12 cubes and 12 towers are included in the set - a very compact, convenient design.

It is impossible to describe the entire game within the scope of this article. Let's focus only on two cubes - blue and green, the so-called cubes of the first stage of learning to read. The colors “blue” and “green” - symbols of the softness and hardness of a consonant sound - will later become a hint for children. What is on the five faces of these cubes? Pairs: a letter and its image. Here the jester shows the letter A, his name is Harlequin. If the jester represents the letter O, then his name is Orlekin. And if U - guessed it? - Urlekin. On the sixth side there is a hint where which letter is located. Yarlekin, Yrlekin, Yurlekin, etc. - fairy-tale characters with whom the child is for the time being more interesting than with a friend.

Characters, the color of cubes, towers, letters, the height of the edges of the towers, the shape of windows, prohibition stars, Enik the parrot and much more - all this game moments, originally laid down in Teremki.

The game guide “Teremki” can be used with both preschoolers and schoolchildren.

2. “Letter constructor.”From its module elements you can add any letter of the alphabet. This design helps the child to remember the motor image of the letter and in the future not to confuse P and N, B and V, S and O.

3. Readers 1 and 2 . Games to develop reading skills. The child, bending the corners alternately, gets different words. On a small “patch” 4 words are read, but in the game there are more than a hundred.

4. Carpet “Larchik”,strings (“stick” to the rug). The carpet-graph, a game-based learning system that is extremely common in preschool institutions, replaces the flannelgraph. A carpet printer allows you to solve a wide variety of problems in a playful way.

5. GEOCON popularly called simply - a board with nails. A multi-colored elastic band is stretched through the carnations in such a way that the contours of geometric shapes are obtained. The tasks vary depending on the age of the children:

The little ones just invent their own geometric figure,

Older preschoolers “stretch” the figure according to the template.

True, the word geometry emanates some kind of seriousness, so for children this is a fairy tale about Baby Geo, Meter the Crow and Uncle Slava.

The game can also be turned into a real quiz: if the child answers the question correctly, then the obstacle (an elastic band stretched across the field) disappears and opens the way for further play.

6. Voskobovich square- Kerchief, Eternal Origami, Maple Leaf - all these are synonyms of Voskobovich Square. It looks quite simple: triangles are glued onto a square fabric base. On one side it is red, on the other it is green.

The square can be folded into various shapes: kids can easily make a house with a green roof or candy in a red wrapper, older children will be able to distinguish the geometric shapes hidden in the house. Mother Trapezium, father Rectangle and grandfather Quadrilateral help the child solve problems. Addition options – 1,000,000 (!).

In many preschool institutions, a “vertical” developmental environment is created in the form of a Purple Forest. In essence, the Purple Forest is a sensorimotor corner in which the child acts independently: plays, designs, and trains the skills that he acquired in joint activities with an adult; engaged in research and experimentation.

When teaching children about Voskobovich’s games, teachers should pay attention to the following:

Preparation. Before offering a game to your child, read methodological recommendations and the game itself.

Speech. Mostly children work with their hands and speak little. During classes, ask your child what he is doing, why he chose this particular figure and not another, ask him to retell the fairy tale task or come up with his own plot.

Static. When engaging with play materials, the child is most often in the same sitting position. It is necessary to take into account the age characteristics of children and distract those who are “overplaying” in a timely manner.

Perseverance. Playing with Voskobovich's manuals requires perseverance, and not every child likes or is able to do this.

Master class on making the game “Geokont”

"Geocont" or "plate with carnations". Plastic nails are attached to the plywood playing field, onto which multi-colored elastic bands are pulled, and the contours of geometric shapes and object silhouettes are obtained. Kids create silhouettes based on an adult’s demonstration and their own ideas; older children create silhouettes based on a sample diagram and a verbal model (on the playing field"Geoconta" , unlike similar games, a coordinate grid is applied).

Playing with "Geokont" Children develop sensorimotor abilities (mastery of color, shape, size, creative thinking.

Working according to Voskobovich’s method, I wanted every child to have such a square. I decided to show you how to make a simplified version" Geokonta "with my own hands. I’m sharing with you, maybe someone will find it useful.

That's all I needed. The square can be made of any size. I have 21x21.

Paint the square completely yellow.

We draw lines along two diagonals in black.

Draw vertical and horizontal perpendicular lines through the center in black.

Draw squares with sides 6cm, 9cm, 15cm, 20cm. Check the connection of the corners along the diagonals.

The places where the lines intersect are indicated by numbers from the center(C) to the edges (1-4).

We decorate the intersection points with colored buttons. The upper section is white. Next we follow the order of the colors of the rainbow. The center is black.

"Geocont "ready with your own hands. Play and develop.

Our kindergarten operates according to the “Childhood” program. This program requires educational games by V. Voskobovich. We would really like to have these wonderful games in our garden. But, since we do not have the opportunity to purchase them, we made some of V.V. Voskobovich’s games ourselves! Using plywood, fabric, colored oracal, pushpins, colored rubber bands for this.

"Voskobovich Square"

This is a square fabric base with oracal triangles glued onto it. On one side it is red, on the other it is green. By folding it along the fold lines in different directions, the child can create various geometric and object shapes.

The game “Voskobovich Square” develops fine motor skills, spatial thinking, sensory abilities, thought processes, design skills, and creativity.

As in all Voskobovich’s manuals, the child can do this according to the proposed scheme or guided by his own plan. The square can be folded into various shapes: kids can easily make a house with a green roof or candy in a red wrapper, older children will be able to distinguish the geometric shapes hidden in the house.

Target: development of children's constructive abilities.

GAME "Geoconstructor"

Using this tablet you can learn numbers, letters, geometric shapes, and “draw” various items, patterns, cost labyrinths, get acquainted with the concepts of big and small, teach a child to navigate in space and perform tasks according to a model, etc.

Do this game with your own hands!

You will need: a wooden board, power buttons, a ruler, a pencil, rubber bands.

Target: develop the ability to lay out angles of different types with rubber bands according to a diagram, sample, according to a verbal task, according to one’s own plan, learn to sketch the resulting angle on an additional playing paper field.

« Designing numbers"

We invite children to post numbers using an elastic band on Geocont. Children tell what number they posted and name the carnations. For example, number 2 - carnations C3, F2, B3, K2, O3, G2, G4, Z4, Z4.

All games are made for each student in the group. Play for your health!

« Flower account"

The flower is made of cardboard paper. The numbers from 0 to 9 are written on the petals of the flower, and in the middle is the number 10. There are windows on the petals where numbers (answers) are inserted.

Didactic task: improve counting skills within 10.

Game situation

Guys, look what flower we came across in the forest? (Chamomile)

Now let's play the game "Flower Counting" with number fans.

What number will we add to the numbers on the petals?

I show the number, and you calculate and paste the answer on the flower.

Conclusion: Well done! We completed the task.
