“I’m trying to save everyone I can!

Right. This is an experienced disease for him.”

Gorgon Pass

Objective: Path to the gates of Borgovia. Searching for the village.

After completing character creation, we begin our journey with the domestic traveler Lady Katarina. The robbers will immediately run towards us. Use the "E" button to switch between weapons ranged and neighbor. At a time when enemies are at a distance, we shoot at them from afar, at a time when they run up close, we grab a melee weapon and fight with them.

If you need to heal, use the “Q” key. It is possible to turn over corpses and collect loot from them.

It is possible to manage a domestic companion. In the upper left corner we can choose how she will attack from a distance or in close combat. It is extremely useful at a time when you or she are running out of luck and can change positions.

One shoots from afar, the other tanks the enemies. Raised weapons and equipment from killed enemies can be used either on yourself or given to Lady Katarina.

At the end of each new level taken, we can distribute points between agility, willpower, physique and discover new skills. We can do the same with our domestic companion.

We move through the robbers to the bridge. The bridge will be blown up, so the path will be closed; we follow the path further, through the wolves. We get to the bridge over the river.

We pass through it, destroy the huge camp of criminals at the altar, improve our domestic abilities, search chests and corpses. We move along the path further on the way we will already meet mermaids, we destroy them and go to the guard at the gates of Markovnia.

In the village we can sell a whole lot of unnecessary rubbish from a merchant or blacksmith and buy the necessary things. We go to the head of the guard and the elder. After chatting with the elder, we will need to chat with the gypsies so that they remove the silence from the alchemist. The head of the guard will tell us that the way to Borgonia can be shown to us by the headman who has gone to the Moaning Forest.

Let's go to the forest.

In the gypsy camp we talk to the Baron about the alchemist, he will ask you to do a favor for him to kill the terrible Snowskin. We kill Snowskin and return to the Baron. He will remove the alchemist's silence and allow the points to be redistributed.

We go to Markovnia and talk to the alchemist, this task is completed. In the gypsy chest it is possible to find a relic 1 gem

In the forest we find a broken cart, which is protected by Zloknecht mechanisms, we destroy them. Van Helsing will explore the place and find traces of werewolves that lead to the werewolves' lair. We fight with Grumsh. At a time when he has very few destinies left, we will move to the second world.

Wolves will invariably crawl out of the calling symbol, destroy all the symbols, then Grumsh will appear again.

After defeating him, we choose to destroy him or not (I don’t know how killing affects the game, I chose to spare him in the future at the power station, the wolf will give us a nice bonus and in the Old Town location he will help fight with his pack. Look below). We talk to the headman and go to the village to meet him in that place.

He will tell us that it is possible to move to Borgonia, but through swamps and a metal mine.

While exploring the area we will find a mountain of rabbits and corpses. It is possible to kill a hare with a simple weapon, or it is possible to try (probably the prize is different).

Action\RPG, released less than a year after its birth Diablo III automatically adds himself to the list of suicide victims who fell under the steamroller of a rushing hit, scattering all rivals like bowling pins.

From the studio Neocore Games, previously known only from moderately successful attempts to make either their own Medieval II: Total War, or Warhammer: Blood Omen (Crusaders: The Kingdom Come, duology " King Arthur"), we weren't expecting any mind-blowing product.

But, as it turned out, Van Helsing managed not only not to lose face, but also in some ways even surpass his eminent opponent - the question of a sequel was resolved.

Native Borgova

The plot, of course, had to be sucked out of thin air. The brave Van Helsing defeated the evil Professor Fulmigati, but an equally evil general takes his place. The entire adequate population goes into shelter and becomes a Resistance movement, which they entrust to lead our hunter of evil spirits. End.

Of course, the Hungarians tried to add a bit of intrigue by adding a mysterious demonic assistant to the game, calling himself “Prisoner No. 7,” hints at terrible secrets and curses of the ancient gods, but it looks very far-fetched. And the ending is frankly open, which doesn’t just scream out loud: “Buy the threequel, we’ll make it in a year!” in principle, will cause genuine annoyance among many.

However, as before, the plot absurdity is redeemed by excellent postmodern humor and gloomy Gothic steampunk mixed with Eastern European flavor. And, naturally, the good old lady Katerina, who still wittily and sarcastically comments on everything that happens around her and enters into an active skirmish with everyone about it or not.

Three times three

We must pay tribute to the developers for the fact that they were not seduced by the opportunity to make extra money and added all the DLC characters from the original to the second part. Now the player is given a choice of three classes with as many as three long skill lines - the elemental master Thaumaturge (a local magician), the Arcane Mechanic engineer and the classic Hunter, who can chop both in close combat and develop as a firearms specialist.

You have to choose your skills wisely - obviously there’s not enough for everything.

Wherein maximum level was raised twice, to 60, and you can start the game immediately with a hero pumped to level 30 or import an old save. I think in the third part everything will be exactly the same.

Despite the fact that many of the skills of the three classes generally repeat each other, playing Van Helsing II somehow became more cheerful. The familiar system with perks, auras and “rage”, which is spent on special enhancements to techniques, thanks to the extensive bestiary and the balance brought to an acceptable state, began to sparkle with new colors - the old scheme “well, a couple more levels, and then I’ll sleep” works in Van Helsing II one hundred percent.

Let's add some fun

Some unique innovations for the second part The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing the Hungarians didn’t bring it. Pretty predictable considering the game took just under a year to make.

Tower defense levels have become more varied and interesting, but this attraction still cannot be called truly outstanding and worthy of the pillars of the genre. On the other hand, you gain a lot of experience from this, which is a significant plus in conditions of very strong monsters, as usual in the series.

The management of the militia does not cause much excitement either. In words, everything is very cool - you have an army of rebels and a number of generals, each of whom has different skills - some are good at ambush, some are natural diplomats, and some simply know how to prevail with numbers and skill. According to the game logic, you need to choose the right general for side missions in order to get the maximum benefit. In fact, it turns out boring - as a reward, the hero receives not very necessary artifacts and even less necessary gold, which will be plenty even with rather stupid behavior on the part of the player.

Cosplaying Diablo III: Reaper of Souls from Van Helsing II sometimes turns out amazing.

The chimera that appears in the second third of the game and serves as Van Helsing's pet is also more funny than practical. In battle, she dies very quickly, and she can only be summoned for a short period of time at very long intervals. When hunting, there is more benefit from an animal - sending a monster into it homeworld upon her return, you can get a fair amount of rare items and gold, depending on the area where she goes. True, the chimera periodically asks to eat - it feeds exclusively on essences, which serve to enchant things.

Cut, glue

Otherwise Van Helsing II more or less successfully suits the second part, and not the huge addon - ten times more items, variability in quests, more colorful and varied landscapes, more bosses and random events. For those who miss simply chopping monsters for goulash - the most Best offer on the market at the moment (although Diablo III: Reaper of Souls We also respect and love).

The only pity is that over the course of a year the picture has hardly been improved, and even with the thoughtful and insinuating cutting of each monster, the game will hardly last more than 12-14 hours in terms of timing. However, the second time, unlike the extremely linear and monotonous original, it is still possible to complete it.

***

Van Helsing II, of course, I would like to see it even bigger, more interesting and more thoughtful than it is - but even in its current state it is a perky, colorful and exciting action\RPG. We are looking forward to the third part with impatience and slight anxiety in about a year and a half.

We thank Neocore Games and personally Orsolya Toth for providing the version of the game.

I don’t even know how to feel about such a genius decision — divide a medium-length game into 3 parts, released at yearly intervals. Of course, you can remember the same StarCraft II, But NeoCoreGames not far Blizzard, and if the effort spent on developing a strategy is visible to the naked eye, then Van Helsing was subjected to dosing only due to insufficient budget.

The game greets us with a rather stylishly made intro, which could set the tone for the whole game: a bloody hack'n'slash in the dark Middle Ages, investigations, noir, hats, cruel monsters... But no, then only “crazy” jokes await us (do they really exist? people who have “humour” level TIAoVH or King's Bounty seems funny?), a bunch of “cultural references” and meat. A lot of meat.

At times, enemies simply fill the screen, eventually exploding in a spectacular rain of blood. Of course, it is much easier to unleash hordes of monsters on the player without any intelligence than to work on their behavior, forcing the player to look for tactics for each battle. Moreover, we play not just anyone, but a MONSTER HUNTER, who should be something between Geralt and a hero Dark Souls , and not a machine for destruction. Apparently, schoolchildren like this.

“Fellow Hunters, we are at war! The gothic metropolis of weird science is on the brink of destruction as chaos rules the streets and a new enemy plots revenge. It's time to enter the dark side of Borgova and the forbidden wilderness, but beware: you are not the only one behind a mask.”

More like a description of a gloomy man in the spirit Grim Dawn, but where there. Look forward to meeting Gandalf, from whose corpse you can pick up a staff and a sword, lambda graffiti from Half-Life, Bat-signal, R2D2 from Star Wars and other undoubtedly relevant easter eggs. Moreover, if you think that all this stuff is cunningly hidden somewhere, then, no, everything lies in the corridors of the main campaign and doesn’t even think about hiding.

Personally, I was impressed by the first part because of its cool natural locations (and the enemies that live there). Here, we are immediately thrown into the thick of a fight with absolutely standard robots/mechanisms/automatons. The surroundings are appropriate. Plants, factories, laboratories and PIPES, PIPES, LIFTERS, PIPES, GEARS. There are very few natural arenas (but they are well made).

In general, the developers clearly scattered their efforts on the wrong things that should have been given more attention. Let's say, in this part, in addition to the already familiar tower defense (which has been significantly improved compared to the first game in the series), you will have a Resistance Headquarters, where you can hire soldiers and send your commanders on missions (in the manner of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood). What does this give (like the already mentioned tower protection)?

Absolutely nothing, just a way to artificially extend the passage, instead of focusing on the gameplay. The same applies to having fun with the Chimera, which you can send to hunt for loot. Even a bunch of merchants/enchanters/blacksmiths/runesmiths are not needed, because why waste time on this if you can easily complete the game in less than 10 hours? Why understand a fairly extensive system of skills if it’s enough to upgrade two or three skills and go through the campaign without straining? No one will force you to think and apply various skills — press left click and go.

Remember the first Diablo. Barrels, boxes, coffins, cabinets - everything could be broken and opened. Here you should be seriously lucky if during your entire passage you come across at least a couple of dozen notorious barrels. The levels are made without attention to interactive details (which is why many people love heck’n’slash), and there are only a couple of shrines standard for the genre.

About the plot.

He's gone. More precisely, I refuse to perceive as a plot the nonsense that the workers have piled up NeocoreGames. The rather experienced and hardened Van Helsing frees the prisoner from the Fulmigati laboratory-prison (whom we defeated in the first part) and immediately begins to dance to his tune, without even trying to think about whether he should be trusted? Actually, you don’t even have any choice, even if you immediately understood what was happening: you will have to blindly obey and solve other people’s problems with your own hands.

I understand that there should be middle class games — not indie **** for 38, and not AAA from Ubisoft. The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II just one of those, but I don’t see any reason to waste my time on it. Yes, maybe someday (most likely never), we will wait for the GOTY version of the game, in which all three parts will be combined, thoroughly completed and modified, but if Diablo 3 sits in your liver, better play Titan Quest or wait Grim Dawn, from the same authors.

of Van Helsing II: Review />

Last year, Hungarians from Neocore Games unexpectedly successfully debuted in the genre “everything is like in our Diablo" Moreover, in The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, in addition to the genocide of monsters of all stripes, we also saw humor, irony and a sea of side quests. Not everything, of course, was perfect there, but that’s why sequels were invented, to progress and move on.

In the sequel, they were allowed to import the hero from the first part and start the game immediately at level 30.

My refuge is my fortress!

In general, the picture is familiar. The son of the famous Van Helsing fights with various monsters in a world where gothic and steampunk go hand in hand, and the local Vlad Dracula can ask for help from a vampire hunter in order to together resist the mad scientist and his experiments. Only this time the scientist has already been defeated, and Dracula has disappeared somewhere. And, as expected, a new Evil appears on the scene - naturally, even more cruel and insidious.

The plot directly continues the events of the first part and first of all proposes to defend the Gothic city of Borgova from the army of monsters storming it. At first, all this seems somewhat tedious: our Van Helsing and his constant companion, Lady Katarina, who can not only fight, but also run for shopping, rush back and forth around the perimeter, give orders to the city’s defenders and suppress enemy attacks over and over again.

But then our hero, along with the survivors, retreat into the catacombs, secret hideout, and this is where things get really interesting. Here the younger Van Helsing can naturally train the militia and send them to capture administrative... in the sense of sending them on different missions. And here you have to think about who and where to send. In total there are three squads of soldiers led by their captains, and each of them has unique abilities and different characteristics. One prefers to act secretly, the other more aggressively. One cares more about the soldiers in battle, but the other does everything faster (and a certain time is allotted for each task).

Each mission (examine secret laboratory, deal with city gangs of marauders, find some legendary artifact) has its own specific conditions, and we must wisely choose which captain and his squad are best suited for this job. If everything goes well, you will receive a lot of money and the same artifact in addition, if not, you will lose some of the soldiers, and the captain will end up in the infirmary for some time. But in any case, with each mission, the commanders gain experience, and we “pump them up”, improve their equipment and train new fighters. All this, of course, is rather optional, but it’s still interesting to tinker with the militia - it allows you to take a break from constant battles. And money is never too much here, especially on high levels difficulties.

In the hideout, our hero now collects and displays the trophies he collected from battles.

In addition, after some time we will be able to take care of and care for our own tame monster - the Chimera, who came to Van Helsing’s lair from a parallel world. And you can not only call her to your aid in battle, but also periodically send her back home in search of all sorts of useful artifacts, magical essences and other joys.

Fun, scary and interesting!

Naturally, right from his refuge, the younger Van Helsing himself can go on various missions, both plot-related and not so. Moreover, they pass not only underground, but also in the open air - forests, fields and rivers filled with bloodthirsty and hungry creatures are again at our service!

There are quite a lot of quests, and they, as before, offer a lot of scope for exploring locations, searching different secrets, unusual situations and encounters. You can, for example, meet an ogre merchant and a goldfish that grants three wishes. And also among side quests there was a place for mini-games in the spirit of Tower Defense - where we run around the map, place towers, turrets and traps, and then press the “launch the first wave of enemies” button and see what comes of it.

According to the plot, the hero is looking for allies and new ways to deal with the next Evil. Moreover, the script includes priests of Perun, talking stones, inventions Nikola Tesla and a certain powerful ghost named Prisoner No. 7 - he periodically appears to our hero, explains what to do next, and promises help.

In general, everything is clear, but the script again found room for both irony and intrigue. Talking stones ask silly riddles, prompting sarcastic comments from Lady Katarina and a smirk on the player's face. Having gone by story task to some snowy village, you can meet there a talking ghoul, who himself does not yet know that he has turned into a monster, and asks him to dress and feed him. And in the underground dungeon, among the prisoners we need to rescue, there is also a huge green Ivan Stepanovich Hyde - he asks to free him and promises to turn into a normal gentleman Jekyll again. Believe him or not - it's up to you!

You can get stuck in the laboratory for a long time.

The intrigue is connected with the fact that that same mysterious Prisoner No. 7 is clearly playing his own game, hiding something. At some point, you can even fight with him - or you can settle the matter peacefully. Moreover, such dilemmas, which periodically arise in the plot, influence further events in a certain way. Although this story has the same ending: the authors are planning a third part.

All Van Helsings are needed, all Van Helsings are important

The main change, or rather, addition to game mechanics- this, of course, is the promised emergence of a class system. If in the first part we had a pre-installed Van Helsing, a master of blades, pistols and magic all rolled into one, now at the start you need to choose one of three different heroes.

This could be a classic Hunter, a monster hunter who is great with melee weapons. The second option is Thaumaturg, a kind of magician who can strike enemies with electrical discharges and use their blood to enhance his magical power. Finally, the third is Arcane Mechanic, something like an engineer: he relies on flamethrowers, grenade launchers and knows how to place turrets directly in battle.

Each class, of course, has access to unique skill trees, but we didn’t notice any imbalance in the balance towards one or another specialization. Moreover, some of the characters’ abilities overlap: for example, Hunter can also fry opponents with an electric shock.

Otherwise, everything is familiar: in addition to “leveling up” and learning new active skills, there are also various protective auras, Lady Katarina’s skills and “perks,” which we learn as the younger Van Helsing’s reputation grows. Plus, of course, a sea of equipment and all sorts of artifacts with which you can do whatever your heart desires: improve, enchant with the help of various magical essences, collect new items and runes. And now we are also allowed to disassemble artifacts into ingredients and turn them into even more powerful things.

You cannot survive in a winter forest without fire.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2- Overall a perfect sequel. The game has become more beautiful, more varied and more comfortable. But at the same time it remained the same rather tough and hardcore role-playing action, a real gift for all connoisseurs of “diabolical” entertainment. Even on the third of five difficulty levels, it poses a serious challenge. And when your Van Helsing is once again torn to rags by an unimaginable crowd of monsters, there are two options left - give it all up and engage in less nerve-wracking entertainment, or start making full use of all the possibilities for fine-tuning and “pumping up” your character. Fortunately, there were even more of them in the second part.

Pros: the ability to train and lead the militia; there is still a lot of irony, jokes and funny situations; the locations are interesting to explore; a full-fledged class system appeared.
Minuses: the engine is not ideally optimized; Controls in battle do not always seem convenient.

So. The game starts after the crash. At the location you need to get to the point. The enemies will not be particularly strong. Somewhere among the bandits there is a champion who drops a good reward. On the way you will meet Brownie, he has a very good reward in his bag. You need to overtake him, and then hit him for a very long time, since the resists are high (about 20-25 hits)
He will also give you the achievement What's in the bag? (although not always, since less than 20 things can fall out) I was given Domovoi Swords from him. Also, if he does jump down, then in the future you will find him. He will already be dead and the reward will be yours in any case.
Reaching the end of the location will automatically give you the Manservant achievement, after a very funny dialogue.

The first city on your way.
There is a lot of fun and interesting things in it. For example: a talking two-headed cow.
Find a chicken and use the Shift key to kill it, it will drop an egg (gives +10Hp) and the achievement: Chicken Runner
At the top there is a statue into which you will need to insert 3 stones (Gem Stones), they are scattered throughout the locations. If I’m not mistaken, then 1 in the forest (in the gypsy camp in a box, thank you) and 1 in the swamp and the last one in the well (you’ll get there according to the assignment). After finding them, BE SURE to bring them to the statue, because they will give you a key that will give you very good loot in the future. In the corner of the town there is a shack in which the residents tell where they hid the goods. Also. There is a drunken gentleman lying near the tavern, who will tell you the story of how a goat ate a diamond (if you don’t chat with him, you won’t get this diamond).
After one of the quests from the blacksmith, he will offer you to forge a sword, agree, he will break it, but you still take it. It can be given to a person in church who believes that being constantly moused over will give essence. Or keep it for yourself as a Bunnyslayer, it’s a funny little thing, but it will come in handy. I thought it was very clear that the sword is an Easter egg and necessary item, not just any epic sword. This item will be useful for the achievement with the rabbit, so keep it in your inventory.
By the way, if you kill all the chickens, you will get the achievement: Chicken Slayer
We take the quests and go to Croakwood.

The location is full of werewolves and harpies.
A little higher from us, an NPC gives a quest, it’s best not to take it for now, but to clear the location. To make accompanying him much easier. After clearing the location, take him to the camp, they will give you the achievement: Escort Master (!Important. It will be given ONLY if the NPC does not receive damage)
Based on the conversation, find a tree, it contains about 2000 gold. In the location you will meet a ghost, you can accompany him to:

  • Gallows. Then it will just be a massacre and nothing special.
  • To the altar. Then there will be, in theory, a happy ending for him, and you will be given a good reward + a very funny dialogue between Van and Katarina.
There is a Wisp in the forest who will ask a question. The answer to it: I dont know your name. Katarina knows. And she will say. Then you won't have to kill him and he will give you a reward.
Also, find the Legendary Goblin, he will drop gold coin, she will have to be thrown into the well, and the harpies will fly out of the well. They will give you Weapon Oil, which you need to apply to the sword in the stone. Then you will receive Excalibur - an epic weapon whose stats will open as you kill (800 in total, if I'm not mistaken). I wore this sword until level 23-24. The achievement will also unlock: Sword in the Stone
In the camp you will be asked to bring a werewolf skull, which is a very simple task.
Next you need to go to the Werewolf's lair. He must be defeated twice.
For the first time, just openly.
The second time, after the destruction of the totems.
It's better not to kill a werewolf. Since you will receive help from werewolves + you will be given a Werewolf seal in the future, which will give good increases to your stats.
At the top of the area there is a Scarecrow. When you click on it, you will go to the Ink portal, where you will fight with him. After his death they will give the achievement: Trophy: The Wingless Messiah
Return to Morkovna again.

Location available after accepting the quest from the scientist.
Quite simply, get a sample. But the main thing is that in this location there is one of three Gem Stones. Therefore, search and you will definitely find it. You will never find this polish again, so it’s worth finding. For completing it you will be given inca essence, which you can give away, or you can keep it for yourself and get a very unnecessary thing.

Swamp.
Very spacious location.
Let's start with the fact that the enemy sometimes drops bones (4 in total). You can give them to:

  • To a scientist. Then he will give 1500 gold.
  • Throw to the Merman idol. Then they will give you 2 stat points and 200XP.
There are totems at the location that provide short-term bonuses. Find everything and then you will need to fight the Spirit of the Forest. Which drops good loot. And they give the achievement: Trophy: Frenzied Forest Spirit.
In the location you will meet Wisp, who will beckon you to him, at the end there will still be a trap with a small number of these fireflies. Sending everyone back to the god of crickets and other things. You will be given a reward and achievement: Trophy: Ignis Fatuus
There is also an altar, and 4 frogs. They need to be directed towards the altar. 2 Mermen will spawn. For killing everyone you will get the achievement: Trophy: Tweedledum and Trophy: Tweedledee
+ buns.
For one of the quests you will need to bring bombs. Look for the fallen airship. There will also be a big red button, which Katarina will beg you to press. After activation, soldiers will appear. Next, we collect bombs, if you collect bombs without activating a single bomb, you will receive the achievement: Explosives Expert. You can see them by bringing the screen closer, the red wicks are inactive, the green ones will explode. I found this method, for which I thank him very much.
Further along the road there is a retreat down where werewolves and a bunch of soldiers are sitting in cages. Werewolves can be freed immediately and they will help you; if you have not killed their leader, then you will not need to kill them and they will give a reward for pardoning their leader. The purpose of this carnage is to take an electrodiode or something like that from the generator.
At the end of the location there will be 4 bosses.
They will lock you up. It is best to kill with the Alchemist, as he heals. Next is to deal with werewolves. One of them will regenerate itself and in the end kill the carcass with a grenade launcher.
Of course, they will give you an achievement for your valor: Trophy: Judge Obesovsky
Look for the corpse of a goat, if you had a monologue with a drunkard, then the corpse will contain a very good essence.
Go to the portal.
Map of all totems. Image edited, thank you very much.

Orichalcum Mines

Mines full of spiders.
The location is not very big.
The goal is simply to get to point B.
In the corner of the map there is a spider, killing which will drop loot and give the achievement: Trophy: Arachnid Leviathan.
Then you just need to get to the exit and that’s it.

Hauling Station

Location with a boss.
A huge iron worm that needs to be sent back for repairs.
There are two ways to shred it:

  • This is to use towers that turn it off for a while, then you will save time and effort.
  • Or, like an epic hero, you will shred him for this. Then they will give you the achievement: Who needs machines when you"ve got SWAG!
In any case, after his death it will drop great amount loot and achievement: Worm Slayer.
This is the last location of the first chapter, so to speak. Afterwards you will go to Borgovia. And you will never return to Markova. Therefore, check if all quests are completed. Have you received the key? And do you have everything you need?

Industrial Port

Port swamp.
The location is full of Mermen. In this location you will meet a wounded NPC, he will give you a task to cover the gunsmith. Completing this will give you the achievement: Smuggler and good sword.
You will immediately need to collect the color according to the instructions. After every 2 flowers there will be funny phrases.
Be a Hunter, they say. Kill Demons, they say. But nobody say about FLOWERS!
I may have made a mistake.
By the way. In this location I received 2 achievements when I rushed to a rhinoceros or something similar in hand-to-hand combat.
Unmovable Object
Unstoppable Force
I don’t know how I forgot.
Thanks, I remembered another very funny Easter egg. Brownie Baggins is present at the location, from which a ring falls. The Brownie himself repeats the phrase of the well-known Golum (Lord of the Rings) “My, I am Precious.”
It's worth a walk along the shore. On the shore (If you didn’t kill Domovoy at the very beginning) the corpse of this fellow is lying. From it you can take loot that would have belonged to you at the very beginning of the game.
There are no special Easter eggs in the location. And the location itself is quite small.
After it, return to the shelter and complete the second chapter.

If you, like me, get a Run Time Error.
That:

  • Put graphic settings to the smallest (Very Low)
  • In Advanced, uncheck absolutely all the boxes. Especially HD render.
  • In the settings under resolution, uncheck the box.
It helped me personally. I hope you don't encounter this.

A location consisting of houses, parks and streets.
To start. This location is inhabited by mobs named Igor. If you love achievements, then it is not recommended for you to kill them. In general, the mob is not particularly hostile, slow, tenacious.
At the top of the area there is a Rebellion Soldier. It offers a choice of 1 of 3 portals.
I chose Lost and Found. This is a location of 4 islands. Inhabited by harpies. There are several chests. 95% of the loot was rings and amulets.
Also, if you choose the option associated with sparkles and fireflies, then you will find yourself in an Ink location inhabited by Wisp, the loot will mainly be essences. I chose this type of portal, thank you very much.
And the last version of portals associated with the word best. There are groups in it strong opponents, mainly trophies (feathers, teeth, etc.) as loot
Thanks for adding the guide.
There are also pillars with posters on which you can find interesting information.
The most important. This is a statue. Insert 3 Gems Stones and an Ink portal opens.
Alluring chests. That's what you were going for. Nooooo. So you can’t get to the prey. You will be knocked back and deal about 25 damage every time you get close.
The answer is very simple, you need to disable this field. To do this you will have to clear the location. There are 2 statues in it, and 4 Gems Stones drop from enemies. I struggled with the other 2 for a long time and already thought I had screwed up. But fortunately no. The last 2 lie in the carcass of the Brownie, who is lying on the outskirts. You may not notice it right away.
By disabling the barrier, a boss will appear. Alchemist, for killing him they give the achievement: King's Bounty
But that's not all. You saved the key from Markovna, right?
If yes, then feel free to take what is owed to you from the statue! This is an epic artifact that will greatly increase your stats. And for the fact that you were able to bring the key here you will be granted the achievement: Rightful Heir
Two small locations.
In the Laboratories, after crossing the central lane, turn left. There will be an NPC standing there at the end; in response to his indignation, select the first dialogue option related to food. In return, he will show you hidden passages. This is a small area, with 4-5 chests and an Ink exit. After that, head to the scientist. He will have 3 dialogue options.

  • Offer protection and friendship.
  • Money.
  • Intimidate.
I chose the first option. As a result, the robots were activated and they had to be killed to prove that you are capable of something.

Afterwards we go to The Pocket Realm.
An extremely small location of 5-6 islands.
Have a good wander around them. On one of the islands there is Wisp and his half-hearted riddle.
The answer to his riddle will be: Thunder (Lightning)
You will be given an amulet as a reward. And if you answered the 3 previous riddles, you will receive the achievement: Riddle me Wisp.
Leaving Ink.

Place of Machines If you have upgraded your hero's strength, then overall this will not be particularly difficult. There are two ways to kill the boss:
  • This is to destroy all the towers, and then destroy the robot itself.
  • And for more hardcore. It's time to get started with the robot. It will be a very long process. But, having a well-trained hero, it will be very simple. For your valor you will be given the achievement: Brute Force.
After destroying the boss, no matter what method you choose to kill him, you will be given the achievement: Unfulmigator. The final video will be shown. Then the credits will roll.
Congratulations on completing the game!
