The moment of my long-awaited transition to Windows 8 (in principle, to Windows 8.1 too) coincided with the date of the official distribution of this OS. At first, the not quite familiar new look of Start was striking, but in general terms, the operating system was quite satisfied. But, somehow, I more clearly remember the sharpness of my indignation at the fact that Microsoft developers did not consider it necessary to introduce standard games from Vista and Seven OS into the new product. Very strange, because these toys were a kind of symbol of Windows systems. Who among us has not played spider solitaire during an educational lecture or work? Who hasn't played the exciting Minesweeper that was a hit back in the days of XP. Some even held symbolic sapper championships. It is easy to assume that the games could not be gone forever, they are and can be seen in an updated UI-guise on the Store pages under specific names:

- Microsoft Solitaire Collection (Solitaires: solitaire kerchief, spider, solitaire).
