Stalker Call of Pripyat - walkthrough (additional quests part 1). Completing the quest "Call of Blood" Time is running out

Console Guyz continues his Fallout 4 When Freedom Calls guide

Freedom Calls - Concord Mission

When Freedom Calls begins outside the front door of the Freedom Museum. Before you enter, grab the laser musket from outside.

Enter the main entrance of the museum, carefully picking up the Laser Musket next to Ryder's body on your right. You won't actually need the Musket... save it and it's precious ammo for later. Raiders fall easily to 10mm headshots.

Inside the museum, go forward to the locked gate and pick up the Bobby Pan box on top of the dispenser on the left. Turn right towards the gate and navigate through the rooms full of red mannequins. On the other side you will find a large collapsed staircase. Below is a locked cage and terminal. Use the terminal to unlock the cage with a simple hack and get the Fusion Core, which is in the reactor on the other side.

Raiders may try to shoot you down from above. Go up the stairs and break left and right as you enter the door to a room with a huge lady-in-waiting during the war. The floor here is littered with boxes and bags of ammunition. Collect them all. Take the first exit to the winding room and the stairs to the upper floor.

Raiders in the town hall building

You will find several raiders in this area. Clear them all. Don't shoot the small group of people talking in the room at the far end of the hall near the front of the museum...they are potential allies.

Once you clear the raiders, go in and talk to Preston. He will assign you a mission to help, which is absolutely necessary... This one has Power Armor. You already have the core, so you can head through the closed door at the far end of this room... but not before grabbing the Perble Bobblehead from the table. Also don't forget to grab Atomic Command from the table.

Once you exit through the far door, follow the compass and head outside. Kill the table (grab the cap and tape) and then head into the power armor. Claim the mini-youn and go through the helicopter to the roof.

Several raiders will be placed on rooftops and on the street. The Minigun is really overkill for these guys...your Laser Musket or 10mm Pistol is perfectly adequate. You can fall without taking damage in Power Armor, so don't hesitate to advance towards your enemies by throwing them outside.

Halfway through the fight, Deathclaw will appear at the main intersection. It's time to use that mini remote. Deathclaw is best used from a safe distance, preferably on the balcony of the blue building at the end of the street from the museum (using the internal stairs to get up to the spot). Use VATS and target his vulnerable head and stomach.

If you fight him outdoors, move away constantly, shooting as you go. Don't let him get the better of you or he'll pounce on you for massive damage. Use Stimpacks to get ahead of the damage curve.

While walking through Concord, the Survivor witnesses an armed conflict near the Liberty Museum. On the balcony, a man in a cowboy hat is trying to protect a group of settlers from brutal raiders. He attracts attention with shouts and asks for help from a person from the shelter, offering to simultaneously seize a laser musket lying next to the corpse of a deceased comrade.

This is how the first quest for the Minutemen begins - “Call of Freedom”.

Note:
The fire from laser muskets can be strengthened by repeatedly pressing the reload key (R by default). The higher the charge, the higher the damage done.

Once inside the building, we have to fight merciless thugs and find the settlers. Having reached the place, the Survivor meets a small detachment of people and their leader, who turns out to be neither more nor less, but the very last minuteman of the Commonwealth - Preston Garvey.

Note:
Immediately near the entrance to the terminal where Sturgers works there is a RobCo - Fun magazine, and at the end of the room on a table near the door there is a Perception Bobblehead.

Preston and Sturges offer the Survivor a plan to deal with the remaining raiders near the museum.
It turns out there is an old crashed rotorcraft on the roof, which contains T-45 power armor (an army copy) and, just in time, a minigun.

But there is a small problem - there is no energy source in the armor, and of course we have to find it. We go down to the basement, break the terminal's security system and take away the nuclear unit.

Having obtained a nuclear unit, we put on power armor, pull out the minigun from the rotorcraft and give the creatures a lead shower.

Note:
Be careful, in the midst of the battle with the raiders, the Death Claw will burst out of the underground communications.

Having cleared the city of raiders and terrible creatures, we return to Preston and report on the completion of the assigned task.

The whole company is glad to see us back, and on behalf of Preston, asks you to join us in order to continue the journey together.

The path lies to the settlement of Sanctuary. The place was not chosen by chance; for a long time Mother Murphy has been visited by a vision associated with this dead place, which she thinks can be revived...

Having reached Sanctuary, Preston turns to the Survivor with a request to help revive the Minutemen.

Prologue

After the introductory video, go to the kitchen where the robot housewife is waiting for you. Now the whole point of your game is to wait for the Vault-Tec representative to arrive. You can go to the front door and look through the window on it. At the house opposite you should see the same man in a brown coat. Wait until he gets to your door and rings the bell. Open the door at your wife's request. By the way, you can play as both a man and a woman. Depending on your choice at the very beginning of the game, you will either have a spouse or a spouse.

Talk to the man about everything to find out what he has to offer. Distribute your first skill points. After the door is closed, go to the room with the child at the request of your wife. Play with your baby, click on the hanging rockets. When the robot calls you, go back to the living room and watch TV. Once the transfer is complete, run through the doors and follow the green mark on the radar at the top of the screen. Soon you should reach a chain-link gate where an officer is standing. Talk to him until he lets you all through. Go to the platform, which turns out to be a lift, and watch the cut-scene.

The beginning of a nuclear disaster.

Follow the stairs up and approach the girl marked with a green marker handing out Vault 111 jumpsuits. After receiving your overalls, follow the Vault-Tec doctor and activate the cryogenic chamber that has opened. Watch a long cut-scene, after which the first mission will begin.

Time is running out

Target. Leave Vault 111.

Go to your spouse's cell opposite and pull the red lever to open it. Take the engagement ring from your significant other's finger. The only exit from the room with cryogenic chambers leads into the corridor. Follow to the other end of the corridor and click on the sliding door. Unfortunately, you cannot open it now. Open the sliding door on the side and follow the hallway. On the glass on the other side you will see the first enemy - a radioactive cockroach. There is a security rod on a box under the window. Take it away.

In the next room on the right there is something to profit from. Among other things, there is a stimulator on the table near the computer. Stimulants in Fallout4 are no different from the same items in the previous part of the series. So, using a stimulant, you can restore up to 30% of maximum level health of the main character. If, for example, you have 50% health, then using a stimulant is pointless.

Return to the hallway and open the other sliding door. Follow forward, and then go into the room on the left side, which is indicated by the marker. In the center there are huge things with electrical energy. Move around the perimeter of the room clockwise. Kill the radioactive cockroaches and go through the new door.

In the room with the Overseer's stand, search everything around. On the table are stimulants, a 10mm pistol, ammunition for it, glasses and a tablet. But the most important thing you must do is: look at the computer on the table and select the line “Open evacuation tunnel”. Exit the computer and see the sliding doors opposite open. Go through them, killing the radioactive cockroaches. Approach the dead scientist at the exit from Vault 111 and pick up the Pip-Boy. Now you have inventory, etc. Activate the panel next to the skeleton and wait for the Vault 111 doors to open. Follow through the door, go downstairs and get into the elevator. This is your last chance to change any settings or appearance Main character. Leave the shelter.

Target. Come back home.

Follow the map marker and mini-radar to complete this task. It is best to cross the river on a wooden bridge, otherwise the character will be exposed to radiation. Near the house you will see an old friend - your robot.

Target. Talk to Codsworth.

Chat with the robot about everything and find out what happened here. During the dialogue, a phrase highlighted in yellow will appear. When you select this phrase and the required level of persuasion, you will receive additional experience points. In the future, similar situations will often arise in dialogues. If you choose a phrase well, you can find out about lids or other valuable items that your interlocutors are hiding. Finish the dialogue with the robot.

Target. Search the area with Codsworth.

Follow the robot, which will lead you to the house with the puffballs. Defeat the flying bugs, after which Codsworth will say that you need to fly to another house. Move there and kill the flying creatures again. Next, start a conversation with Codsworth yourself, who will tell you that you need to search Concord.

Target. Explore Concorde.

Pay attention to the blips on your radar at the top of the screen. You need to move in that direction. By the way, there will be a river ahead, and you can get around it only along the bridge to the right. Do this and move along the road until you get additional task.

Additional goal. Say hello to the dog.

You should see a dog at the gas station. Say hello to her. She will now be your companion, just like Codsworth.

Search the station, kill mole rats - another standard enemy. Continue to Concord and explore the city. You must get to the museum, near which there will be several raiders. Deal with the raiders, after which you will be asked to go inside the museum. The task will be completed and a new one will begin.

Call of freedom

Purpose (optional). Take the laser musket.

The laser musket will be lying near the corpse of one of the raiders. Why not pick it up? When using this weapon, press the R key several times to charge it and fire a more powerful shot.

Target. Enter the museum.

Just click on the door leading inside the museum and wait for it to load.

Battle with raiders in the museum.

Target. Find the settlers.

Clear the museum. Kill the enemies at the top, follow the passage on the right to find yourself at the other end of the first floor. Go up the stairs and deal with all the enemies. Only after none of the raiders are left alive will the door to the settlers’ shelter open.

Talk to Preston Garvey about everything.

Target. Open the door.

Start a conversation with technician Sturges. When he leaves the computer, log into it. You need to choose the correct password. In this case it was the word CACHE. In general, the hacking system in the game looks like this: on the screen you see great amount characters, some of which form words of five or more letters. You have four attempts to guess the password. Click on the words you see. If the password is found, you will gain access to the computer. If the code is incorrect, you will hear a corresponding beep and also see on the screen information about whether the selected word was similar to the password. If you were unable to guess the password in four attempts, you will need to wait for 10 seconds for the terminal to become accessible to you again.

After hacking the terminal, select the line “Open the door”, thereby completing the task.

Target. Get a nuclear block.

Follow to the indicated point and open the door. If you haven't used Sturges' computer, you can enter the terminal to the right of the door. You can also open this door using a hairpin, if you have one. Remove the nuclear block from the panel, the task will be updated.

Target. Insert a nuclear unit into the power armor.

Return to the room with the museum guests where you were before. Exit this room through the door at the other end and go to the marker. Open the door called "Commonwealth". You will find yourself on the street near the power armor. Approach her and press the E key.

Target. Wear power armor.

Press the E key again to climb into the armor.

Target. Take the minigun.

Follow up the ruins and pick up the minigun.

Target. Clear Concord.

Move forward and kill the enemies you see. You can safely jump down from the roof, since power armor completely prevents damage received from falls. In addition to the raiders in the city, you will need to kill a large mutant called the Death Claw. Be sure to search all the corpses. As soon as all the raiders are dead, the task will be updated.

Deathclaw, one of the mutants created by the Nuclear Disaster.

Target. Report to Preston.

Just go back to the museum and talk to Preston Garvey about everything.

Target. Talk to Preston Garvey in Sanctuary.

Head back to your home near the shelter in the northwest. There will be a marker here. But Preston is unlikely to get here before you. Open the map and you will see another marker - this is Preston, moving to Sanctuary. You can go to a meeting with him and talk. This will complete the task. You can take a new task from Preston. Sturges has another additional task, who will be inside one of the Sanctuary houses after you talk with Harvey Preston. At the same time, a new mission will begin - “The First Step”.

Conversation with Sturge

Before moving on, look into the house and talk to Sturge. Find out how you can help him, and he will tell you that the beds need to be repaired. In the courtyard of this house there is a workshop, a workbench and an armor maintenance station. Since you are already here, be sure to repair your power armor to 100%. In order to do this, you need to leave the armor and repair each part of the suit individually. In this case, you will need to spend the items found.

Surely your core charge is almost zero. It is unlikely that you have another core on hand at the moment. If the charge drops, then movement slows down significantly, as well as the operation of the armor as a whole is disrupted. Leave the armor in this place and move on without it. Before you start the next quest, don't forget to open your pip-boy and distribute your skill points.

Preston Garvey.

First step

Target. Talk to the residents of Tenpines Bluff.

Postpone the Diamond City quest and head to the Tenpines Bluff settlement. Open the Pip-Boy and activate the First Step quest tracking. You can't fast travel to the settlement at the moment, so head there on foot. Follow the marker on the radar to the east.

Take the main road in Sanctuary and pass between the houses at the end of town. Further the road will be blocked by a large lake. There is a small bridge on the left down the slope. Use it to cross the radioactive lake. Continue east, near the water, to get around the huge rocks.

When the lake is behind you, a high rusty fence will appear ahead. Approach it and make your way through the hole into the courtyard.

On the right side of the yard there is a small cabin in which you can find a lot of useful things. Among other things, stimulants. There is also a computer terminal and workshop inside. Study the worker's note. The terminal allows you to control the robot on the street. Leave the building and head to Tenpines Bluff using the marker. Go past the large satellite dish on the right and follow until you reach a new location.

Notice the woman waving a gun. Talk to her about everything.

Target. Kill the raiders.

Your next task is to suppress the aggression of raiders at a nearby factory. Move south from the settlement using the marker. Go down the slope, cross the train tracks, take out the enemies, and move under the overpass. Continue forward and eventually you will see a factory. Get closer and you'll find yourself on the outskirts of Lexington. Even though you must clear the factory, you will have to deal with enemies on the city streets. Before entering the zone, look in your inventory and equip best armor, which we could only find.

When you complete your preparations, go to the plant through the city streets. Proceed with caution as you may be attacked by people, ghouls or animals. Continue south and eventually reach the north side of the plant. On the right side of the building's roof you can see a glowing sign. There should also be a small garage there.

From here you can move to the right and storm the factory entrance. Take a left, heading east along the road. Go past the first red car. Stop in front of the second lamppost on the left side and look ahead. You will see a small alley with a gate at the end. Go through this gate. Continue forward and turn left, inside the broken pipe.

Once in the next area, move along the pipe and get ready to kill the ghouls. When the path is clear, go into the room on your left. Go forward and left. Around the corner there is a small room with a bunch of useful items.

When you're ready to continue, go back and deal with the guards at the entrance. Follow along the passage, killing enemies. At the top step, duck down and move to the right. There will be another place on the right, and an open door on the left. First, take out the raider in the passage on the right, then go through the doorway on the left and take out the enemies. There is a turret on the left side of the room.

Then return to the place where you dealt with the first raider and deal with the remaining invaders. When all the raiders are finished, go to the end of the corridor and go into the room on the left. Go up the stairs and go through the door on the left side. Follow the path and go down the steps into the next room. Be prepared to face any raiders. Go through the blue door at the bottom of the stairs. There is an elevator door on the left side. Move south along the corridor and up the steps on the right.

Use the door at the end. Follow the doorway on the left, where you will encounter several raiders. When the location has been cleared, find a crack in the wall around the corner on the right and go forward. Deal with all the enemies and return to the elevator door. Climb the steps to the right of the elevator door and move up the staircase. When you reach the large room on the top floor, carefully walk inside. There will be several opponents here. There are several guards on the main floor. There are also two turrets. Destroy all enemies to complete the current part of the quest.

Target. Report the completion of the mission to the residents of Tenpines Bluff.

When the raiders are defeated and the plant is cleared, it will be necessary to return to the residents of Tenpines Bluff. Find the door under the exit sign on the east wall and follow it to the end. Activate the Pip-Boy, open the map, then select fast travel to the settlement. When you find yourself in place, find the woman mentioned earlier and tell her about the successful completion of the mission. You will receive several caps and access to a workshop on the location.

Target. Talk to Preston Garvey.

To complete the current quest, travel to Sanctuary and find Preston Garvey. Talk to the man and tell him that the settlers have agreed to join them. You will receive a rocket launcher for this, which can be used to call for backup.

Continue talking to Preston and try to get him Additional information about Quincy Massacre. Thank Preston and agree to help him.

Pearl of the Commonwealth

Target. Go to Diamond City.

Now that you have a few more quests available, it's time to continue your search for your missing son. This place is located in the southeast. Fast travel is not available, so you will have to walk. Make sure you have activated this quest. Open the map and travel to Lexington. From here you can go straight south. You shouldn't walk on the streets of Lexington as they are unsafe, so stick to the outskirts of town. Using the marker on the map, move through the wasteland.

When leaving the city, you will probably see a message about the detection of the military frequency AF95, after which an entry with a quest for fire support will appear in the log. Go south down the slope until you reach the river. Find a bridge nearby and cross the river on it.

You will see a brewery ahead. You can go through the blue door and explore the building inside, but the story quest requires you to move towards Diamond City. It won't be long to go - follow the route to the southeast. Follow the marker on the map and you will soon reach a hill from which you can see Diamond City. Go down the slope and continue southeast, keeping to the river bank on the left.

Soon you will reach a low green building on the outskirts of the city. There is a road south of the building. Move east along the street, cross the bridge ahead (there is still a red car under the bridge) and continue on until you reach an overturned truck. From here, follow the road to the right, south, approaching the marker. Soon you will have a signal from the radio tower. Open the Pip-Boy and tune the radio frequency to the appropriate wavelength. You will hear a distress call from a man named Rex Goodman, who was captured by mutants. Will appear in the magazine new quest.

Go forward to the large wall that encloses the baseball stadium. Go to the right and go west. You need to move along the wall of the stadium, so you will soon need to turn south. Soon you will see graffiti indicating the direction of Diamond City. Continue south and pass under the tall woods across the road. When you are on the other side, take a left and approach the woman. When the woman finishes the conversation, she will turn and start a conversation with you. Tell Piper that you want to get into Diamond City, after which the person “on the intercom” will open the gate. Finish the conversation and go into the building.

Target. Find information about Sean.

Ask the mayor and Piper what they are arguing about. Tell them that you are looking for a missing person, your son. You will be directed to a detective agency located nearby. As soon as the conversation ends, a new quest will be added to the journal.

The most powerful power armor.

Target. Go to the Valentine Detective Agency.

Go to the Valentine Agency somewhere deep in the city. Look at the guarded entrance marked on the map, then go through it and up the steps on the other side. And only now a message will appear saying that you have discovered Diamond City.

You will see several huts and tents that are Diamond City. Go down the stairs and move to the center of the area. Detective agency Valentine is located in the northeast, where, in principle, the marker points. Walk through the streets and stop once you reach the weapon shop ahead. Will be added to your quest journal entries new goal– explore the combat zone.

Advice! It's worth spending a few minutes exploring the market, where you can get several new quests at once: investigate witchcraft in the museum and much more.

When you cross the river, go right and follow the road east. Go behind the pile of tires and turn left into the square in front of the ruins. Tune to a radio frequency, then open the Pip-Boy and select the radio menu. Select the battle signal option and tune in to a short sound. Close your Pip-Boy and continue on your way.

Target. Use radio frequency to track the target.

Your next task is to wander around the area in search of the institute. As you approach the target, the radio will begin to beep. Head south and return to the embankment. Turn left and follow the road as it heads east, along the river on the right. You will see a yellow and red sign on the road. Approach him and set up an ambush. Once you've dealt with the monsters, continue east and turn left until you reach the sign. Continue north until you find new location. Go up the stairs leading to the large green building on the left, then go inside.

Target. Kill the hunter.

When you enter the building, turn off the radio to get rid of the annoying signal. Go west and search the corpse on the table in the reception area. Next, go through the arch in the wall to the north and follow the passage to the west, going up the steps. At the top of the stairs, go through the door on the right side and continue along the path. Go through the archway to the west and proceed to the next area. You will be ambushed, so go back through the arch and take cover while killing the enemies. There are two turrets here, so be careful. Deal with them before killing the regular bandits.

When the location is cleared, go through the arch in the west on the upper level and turn to the right. Follow the corridor that goes east and eliminate the enemies you encounter. Go to the first room on the left and collect supplies. Return to the corridor, then continue forward. Go up the stairs and deal with the enemies. Then take the left side, walk along the corridor and enter the room on the right. Head to the left and eliminate the enemies in the corridor. At the end, turn left and go up the ramp to the top. At the top of the slope you will see a doorway leading to the street.

There are several raiders behind the doorway. Go through it and quickly run along the path leading to the door at the end. Kill the enemies, then go left, moving along the corridor. When you reach the kitchen, go through the door on the right. On the other side you will see a locked door ahead. Open it and collect bottle caps and weapons. When you're done, return to the corridor and head south. Go through the door and turn left. Don't go up the ramp yet. There will be a balcony with several enemies, including an enemy armed with a rocket launcher.

Throw a grenade or Molotov cocktail there, then get up and deal with the remaining opponents. Next, go through the doorway at the top of the slope and turn left. Defeat the other enemies and go through the doorway to the south. Go left and pick up the fallen rocket launcher. Follow the corridor going to the right. Head north and go left at the intersection. Run towards the passage to hide from the turret.

Follow through the doorway at the end of the path and turn to the right. When you reach the debris blocking the path, enter the room on the left side and move through it to the right to find yourself on the other side of the obstacle. Take care of the raiders that appear from the doorway to the north, then continue forward down the corridor. Next, go to the right and exit onto the balcony. Follow through the doorway on the left and go up the steps. When you reach the top level, go up the stairs on the left.

Go west along the corridor and notice the door on the left. Follow the ramp down, search the corpse and unlock the ammo box. Go through the door that was mentioned earlier and deal with the opponents. Before going through the door to the south, go west and unlock the door on the left. Inside there will be ammunition, medicine, a safe in the wall and a computer terminal. Hack the turret and unlock the safe in the wall on the left. Clean out the safe and leave the room.

Return along the corridor to the east, approach the door on the right. Follow behind the car to hide from the laser. Please note that using the terminal on the table you can disable and enable turrets. Go through the door to the south and kill the enemies. Take cover in the room to the left if necessary, and lure the enemies down the stairs so they come one at a time. When the room is cleared, go into the elevator and press the button.

When you reach the next floor, move along the corridor and enter the room at the end. There is a master level terminal ahead that can be used to access the cage in the center of the room. Go through the door to the north and follow up the stairs. At the top, turn left, then open the door on the right. Go through it and hack the terminal in the southwest corner of the room to open the security door.

Next, hack the terminal in the southeast and open the security door on the left side. Go through it and search the room to return to the main area. Pass through recently open door on South. Go up the stairs in the center of the room. At the very top, go through the door to the north and talk to Z2-47. Like Kellogg, the next opponent can turn invisible. He is also able to regenerate his health over time. But killing him is quite easy if you are well prepared.

Use first aid kits and stimulants to increase your health, as well as various boosts to increase damage and enhance armor. Hide behind the doorway to the south or behind the column in the center of the room. Shoot at the enemy, throw fragmentation grenades and Molotov cocktails. Don't forget to use the rocket launcher found at the beginning of the level. Once the enemy finally becomes visible, turn on VATS and attack him with everything you have in stock. Kill an enemy.

Target. Restore the chip.

Next, approach the killed enemy and search his body, most importantly, capturing the chip. This will end the current quest and begin a new task. Before continuing, there are a few more things you can do at the location.

First, get the password from the toolboxes near the stairs on the north side of the room. Go to the terminal on the east wall. Use it to activate the nearby elevator. Open the security door. Head inside and approach K1-98 (or Jenny) at the end of the room. After she thanks you for your help, you can continue your research.

Return to the area where you fought the boss and go up the stairs to the north. Pick up the weapon and go to the terminal on the left, on the top step. Use the door remote control to open the door to your right. Gather supplies and open the map in the Pip-Boy.

Molecular level

Target. Analyze the chip.

Take the path to the left of the gun shop and return to Dan Memory. Dr. Amari will be able to study the information on the chip. So go to her and talk about everything. After she asks you about your adventures on the Glowing Sea, tell her that you managed to get help from Virgil. Amari will say that she does not know how to hack the chip, but will indicate the direction of a group that could help with this. He will ask about the organization, and you will hear the code phrase “Follow the Path of Freedom.” Try to find out more about this organization and the mysterious "Underground", and then say goodbye to Amari.

Target. Find the Underground.

You may remember that you have previously heard about the Freedom Road Underground, at the very beginning of the game. A robot tour guide talked about it near Park Street Station. Then an additional task “Follow the Path of Freedom” appeared in your journal. It's time to do it! Open your Pip-Boy and fast travel to the Boston Cammon location.

One of the types of robots that you will encounter in Fallout 4.

Target. Follow the Path of Freedom.

When you reach your destination, follow the road north, dealing with any enemies in the area. Have Boston Cammon on your left. Walk forward a little and you will see a fountain and a tour guide bot. If you haven't talked to them before, then go up to him and start a conversation. Ask the robot about the freedom road and you will be told to follow the red trail through the city streets. After talking with the tour bot, look at the fountain and find the phrase: “Towards the end of the path, follow the Liberty Lantern.”

Target. Continue to follow the Path of Freedom.

Directly below the sign you will find a marker for the Path of Freedom. Look at it and look for the red line on the ground leading to Boston Cammon. Follow the line out of the park, then follow it north. The line passes through Park Street station and heads north-west. Soon it crosses the road, leading you to the Massachusetts headquarters. Look at the next marker on the ground and continue following the line that goes back down the road.

Almost immediately the line will go under the abandoned car and return to Park Street station again, but this time it will follow the right side of the road. Follow the line that turns north. You will have to kill any enemies that get in your way. Check the next marker behind the bus on the right side before continuing to track.

Continue forward until you reach the base of the red tower, then go to the right. Ahead you will see a sign pointing towards the place where Dr. Amari lives. You've already been there. After the line crosses the road on the right, you will notice the next marker. Examine it to see another piece of code.

When you're ready to continue, turn left at the intersection and follow the road north. Climb the slope ahead and go down the other side, killing all enemies. If you kill the nearby Legendary Ghoul (Ghoul) Stalker, you will be rewarded with the ability to carry an unlimited number of pistol cartridges.

After going down, turn right and find another marker. Check it out, then follow the line that goes east. Climb the stairs ahead and prepare to face some ghouls. When the location is cleared, continue moving east and then go down another set of stairs. Be careful, because next you will face a super mutant and a mutated dog.

When you reach the building on the right side, you will be ambushed by several super mutants. One of them is a suicidal mutant who will try to run closer to you and explode. Run away from him and shoot using the VATS system to understand which of his arms is vulnerable. When he is finished, eliminate the remaining villains, and then examine the marker on the statue. Finally, follow the line that moves along the right side of the building.

Turn left at the end of the lane and continue to follow the line as it heads north. Walk forward a little, cross the road and start heading east. Follow the line that goes north and check the marker ahead. Please note that there are several more super mutants and mutated dogs in the location. So get ready for battle! Once the street is clear, continue on, staying close to the line that goes west. Walk around the statue ahead and look at the last marker near the old North Church.

This is the end of the Freedom Trail, where there is another clue for you: 1 - R, 2 - A, 3 - I, 4 - L, 5 - R, 6 - O, 7 - A, 8 - D. It looks like you ended up in the right place. Go inside the old North Church ahead to continue your journey.

Target. Find the Freedom Trail.

Inside the church, go through the hole in the wall and enter the large Ghoul-filled chamber. Clear the location of enemies and find the door on the right side of that same hole. Follow through the door, grab the first aid kit on the left side and go down the steps at the end of the passage. At the bottom, turn right and follow the tunnel to the west.

Destroy the Ghoul that attacks you and go to the very end of the corridor. Continue north after dealing with the last ghoul and look for the Freedom Ring Trail on the wall on the right side. Your next task is to move around the ring clockwise and counterclockwise by entering the code word RAILROAD. Match each letter with an arrow and press the center button to eventually open the secret door. The button must be pressed each time you hover over the desired letter.

Shall we fly?

Go through the door and go down the stairs at the end of the corridor. When the woman in front starts a conversation, move closer until you see dialogue options. Explain that you are not her enemy and that Dr. Amari sent you. Next, tell her your story. When Desdemona finally introduces herself, ask her about the Underground. This will complete the next part of the quest “Find the Underground.”

Climb the stairs to the east and follow Desdemona down the hallway. Go through the door at the very end to gain access to the Underground headquarters. On the other side, go down the steps and approach Desdemona on the right. When she tells you that the group will help on the condition that you give them the chip. Tell Desdemona she can take the chip. Once you know everything you need, get ready to go back to Virgil on the Glowing Sea.

Target. Return to Virgil.

Put on the main character a suit with high radiation protection and repeat your path from the church until you find yourself outside. Next, open the map in the pip-boy and quickly move to the cave far to the southwest. Upon arrival, go inside the cave to reach Virgil's laboratory.

Talk to her about everything. Tell her to move on. Finish the conversation to complete the "Path of Freedom" quest and add a new one to your journal. story mission. Desdemona will agree to help you on the condition that you help Deacon first.

Undercover work

Target. Talk to Deacon.

Approach Deacon and ask him what is required of you. Next, assure him that you will keep the existence of the Underground a secret from the Institute. Ask what the Underground needs from you and tell Deacon that you are interested in helping him.

Target. Meet Deacon on the old highway.

When you are ready to help the Underground, leave the crypt and exit the old Northern Church. Take off your radiation suit and put on your favorite combat suit. Your next destination is the old highway, which is located west of Lexington. Open your Pip-Boy, go to the map tab and fast travel to Lexington. When you arrive, head southwest and look for an overpass.

Talk to him about everything and tell him that in his disguise you practically didn’t recognize him. After he explains the purpose of your mission, try to find out more detailed information. Tell him to move on.

Target. Follow Deacon and find the "tourist".

When the conversation ends, follow Deacon to the east. Climb onto the roof of the abandoned bus and move along the overpass. Continue east and be prepared to encounter a couple of ferocious ghouls near the large pile of tires on the right side. Other ghouls will attack you from the rear as you pass by the bus. Deal with all enemies before resuming your search. A little further on you'll notice Ricky, the "tourist", looking out into the desert. Talk to him about various topics and tell him the “Subway” password. Ask Ricky to tell you more about the mines and the chrome dome. Thank him for his help to complete the task.

Target. Talk to Deacon.

Next, go back and talk to Deacon. Ask why he lied to Ricky. Next, say that you are not sure that Ricky is telling the truth. Deacon will say that you need to take Ricky at his word. Find out more information about exiting the tunnel, then agree that the tunnel would be the safest option.

Target. Get inside the tunnel.

Return along the road to the west and get to the surface. Then head northeast, using the map marker as a compass. Soon you will reach the edge of the ditch and see a pipe below. Go down and go through the pipe. There will be a door ahead that you need to use to get into the sewer.

Target. Get Carrington's prototype.

Inside, talk to Deacon and learn more about the prototype. Let him know you're ready to go. Follow him down the corridor. Wait for Deacon to hack the terminal, then go through the newly opened security gate on the right side. Walk forward along the corridor and when you reach the metal road, turn to the right. Go down the slope and be prepared to face several enemies. When you deal with them, then continue moving forward. Turn left, follow the water and enter the illuminated corridor. Follow it through with Deacon and step onto the path on the right. Access the terminal at the end of the corridor and disable the turrets and spotlights.

Next, step back a little along the path and move to the very end. Go down the stone steps and get ready to fight the enemy group. If you have a frag grenade, you can throw it into the corridor. When the path is clear, go east and follow the passage. Eventually you will reach a broken pipe. Look inside and deal with the enemies. Then enter the pipe and move to the end of it. Activate stealth mode and slowly move forward so that you are not noticed by enemies in the next room. Turn right, find the computer terminal and hack it to open the security door nearby.

Enter the room to the southwest and go through the blue double doors. Eliminate enemies quickly and take a few minutes to collect useful items. On the ground floor you will find a cooking station and some beds (you can lie down to restore your health). There is an ammo box in the room to the northwest. When you're ready to continue, go up the stairs to the southwest and enter the room at the very top. There is an "expert" level terminal on the central table. The other terminal is near the door to the southwest. If you have the appropriate qualifications, then hack the second one to disable the laser traps along the corridor. Then go through the door.

When you reach the intersection ahead, note the room on the left side where there are enemies. Don't rush to go there, but turn right, picking up medicines in the toilet at the end of the corridor. Destroy opponents who will probably hear you. Once the path is safe, continue through the closed door near the bathrooms and loot the ammo storage room nearby. Next, return to the corridor and enter the room described earlier. Go through the door on the right and follow the corridor leading to the left to Department "X". The corridor going to the right leads to a room with databases.

First, enter the database room and access the research terminal on the center table. Once you've read the journals, go to the terminal on the southwest wall. Hack it and unlock the security door. You can now enter the room in the northwest and pick up useful items. After you have collected supplies, return to the corridor and go through the door of Department "X". Enter the room at the end and take out the enemies. Once all enemies have been defeated, Deacon will begin hacking the nearby terminal, thereby opening up a large vault on the southeast wall. When the passage is opened, you will automatically receive a fantastic weapon.

Target. Leave the place.

Before leaving the complex, clear the room outside the storage facility and go back along the corridor. Turn left at the intersection and move along the passage marked “exit.” Please note that there are mines here. Blow them up, shoot them out firearms. Do this before moving on. When the location is cleared, go up the stairs and go through the door at the end of the corridor.

On the other side, deal with the opponents and approach the metal stairs. Find the terminal on the left side of the red column and use it to turn on the elevator and disable the turret system. Next, move east to the end of the path. Press the call button for the elevator to arrive. Enter it and go up to ground level. Climb up the steps behind the cabinet blocking the path and exit through the door on the right.

Target. Meet with Deacon near the old North Church.

When you get to the bottom of the stairs, open your Pip-Boy and fast travel to the old North Church. Enter the building and go down the crypt until you reach the Underground base. You will arrive on time and hear the end of the dialogue between Desdemona and Deacon. When Desdemona asks if Deacon's story is true or not, decide what to say. Agree to join the faction. Choose a codename you like and the quest will come to an end.

A new faction quest will be added to the journal. However, he is optional for the main storyline. Instead, follow Desdemona down the corridor to the Underground headquarters. This point will now be available as a fast travel location.

Approach Desdemona and she will agree to help you with story quest"Molecular level". Tell her everything and, in the end, Desdemona will offer you help. Please note that the next mission objective will differ depending on which faction you choose to join. In this walkthrough, as stated above, main character joined the “Underground” faction.

Target. Talk to Tom.

Find Tom nearby and talk to him. Ask him if he can build a car. You will learn that construction requires a safe house with a workshop. By this time you should already have such a house. Therefore, go there and create the necessary platform.

Safe Home

Leave the Underground headquarters, go back through the crypt and get out. Your next destination is north of Lexington. Open the Pip-Boy, go to the map and fast travel to Lexington. Then follow the marker north. Approach the large blue screen and climb over the fence to gain access to a parking lot with many cars.

When you reach the parking lot, two messages will appear simultaneously. Move north towards the blue tower in the center of the parking lot and eliminate the enemies that attack you. Once the area is clear, look for the small blue hut on the northwestern edge of the parking lot. Remove the lock, go inside and activate the workbench. In order to complete the safe house mission, you must fortify the area to 100%.

Molecular level (continued)

When you are ready to focus on the main goal of the storyline, go to the workbench, open it and go to the special menu. Select a reflective platform. Find a place to install it outside and build it to complete one of the important stages of the project.

Target. Talk to Tom.

Once the reflective platform is installed, return to Tom. Open the Pip-Boy, go to the map and fast travel to the headquarters. Talk to Tom and tell him that the platform is ready. You will learn that you need to find three special items - a circuit (board), a sensor module and a biometric scanner. Three new tasks will appear in the journal at once.

Target. Build an emitter, relay and control console.

If you are lucky, then right now in your inventory you will have all the necessary items that you could find during the game. If not, check out the three new optional objectives in the journal. To find the circuit board, you need to search military installations.

Sensor modules can be found at telecommunications stations, and you will find a biometric scanner in hospitals. Each goal will point you to one or another place where the missing item is located. Closed institution

Now that you have finally reached the Institute, the search for Sean has entered its final stage. Immediately exit the teleportation chamber and head east. You will hear a voice asking you to use the elevator. Soon the final task of the final storyline will be activated. Please note that you can fulfill your faction's wishes and upload an encrypted message to the Institute terminal at any time. However, first you must hear what exactly the unfamiliar voice is telling you.

Target. Enter the elevator.

At the bottom of the stairs, go to the lift platform. The door will close automatically, after which the elevator will begin to descend into the depths of the complex. You will hear a story about the Institute and find out that this person knows why you came here. When the elevator stops, go east along the corridor. At the end of the passage, go to the next elevator and press the button. When the elevator reaches its destination, go into the room ahead and approach the boy behind the glass. Start a conversation and tell the boy everything.

Talk to the man and ask where Sean is. When Sean's "Father" tells you who he really is, continue the conversation. Agree to join the Institute so that you can study the complex.

Target. Meet with division leaders.

When the conversation comes to an end, Father will tell you that you must meet with the four leaders of the Institute division: Clayton Holdren, Ellie Fillmore, Justin Ayo and Madison Lee. Go through the doors behind Father and up the steps on the right side. At the top, go to the bathroom ahead and pick up useful items.

Then go back to the top step and head south. Get the password for Sean's terminal from the wall cabinet in the office, then take the first aid kit. Find the terminal on the right side and use the password to access it. Read Sean's posts and note that you are not able to turn off synthetics.

The process of creating synthetics.

When you're ready to continue, follow the doorway to the east and go down the very bottom of the stairs. Up ahead you will see Dr. Ellie Fillmore (dressed in a yellow suit) talking with a synthetic. Approach the doctor and, as soon as she finishes the conversation with the synthetic, talk to her about everything. When the conversation ends, look around. You'll find a synthetic behind a counter on the left side, selling weapons, armor, and other supplies. The door to the west will lead you to the central intersection of the Institute, from where you can gain easy access to any of the four wings of the complex.

Once you're ready to continue, return to the bottom of the stairs and go through the tunnel to the north. Turn into the laboratory on the right. Follow the corridor and enter the large round room ahead. Dr. Holden, the scientist dressed in a green suit, should be somewhere nearby. Most likely, it is located at the terminals on the left side. Approach Holden and talk about everything. When he asks if you want to join the Institute, answer positively. Only after that he will answer all your questions. End the conversation and get ready to look for your next “co-founder.”

Before leaving the location, find the master terminal behind the partition to the north. Then go to the door in the northeast. Behind the door you can find a terminal mounted on a table with useful files. Search the cabinets to the northeast, go up the stairs on the left side and loot the next room where the medical supplies are. When you're done, leave the laboratory.

Return to the corridor, take the right side and go down the slope. At the bottom, continue forward and follow the blue line to the Advanced Systems Laboratory. At the top of the slope, turn right and enter the laboratory. Once inside, wait for the scientist to come out of the room on the left side and take the ammunition. Read the research notes on the terminals to the east and northeast. When you're done, go through the door to the northeast and talk to Dr. Madison Lee, who is wearing a blue suit.

Next, leave the Advanced Systems Laboratory and follow the slope down the right side. Take the medicine from the table on the left and move along the next slope. Run along black line to the synthetics laboratory. At the top of the slope, turn right and enter the laboratory. Inside, follow the corridor ahead and behind the glass on the right side you will see the last scientist dressed in a black suit. When he moves to the next room, follow him and start a dialogue. Find out everything and eventually end the conversation.

Target. Use a network scanner.

Before leaving the laboratory, explore the location and find the terminal on the table nearby. Read about the activities of the Institute, select “Download hologram”. Select the scanner and start the process to complete the current job. Please note that if you select the “copy encrypted message” option, you will complete the Underground faction quest. On the other hand, you can join the Institute.

After the story quest is completed, you will be able to fast travel to the Institute. In addition, a quest related to synthetics will be added to the journal. This is the first of the quest line for the Institute faction. From this point on, you can continue completing side quests and faction quests. Please note that carrying out orders from one faction worsens your relationship with the other. You will then need to choose one of the factions, after which you will be close to the ending of Fallout 4.

Detention

Go to the Father and talk to him. You need to meet a character who is located north of Libertalia, located in the eastern part of the map. When you arrive, the character you need may already be in battle. Talk to him and tell him that you are ready to launch an attack on the raider camp. The rest of the mission is pretty simple. Move through the location, killing raiders and collecting loot. When you go through the door that leads to the captain's cabin, raise the gun right in front of you. This legendary weapon , don't forget it.

Move around the corner on the right. Go through the door to come face to face with the robber. When you enter the room, deal with the enemies. Decide what to do with the captain, then search the location and return to the Father. After you talk to him, he will tell you that a room has been prepared for you. Go into it and inspect the room. When this is done, the quest will end and a new task will begin.

Battle of Bunker Hill

Talk to the Father, who will tell you about the stolen synthetics. You will have to go to the Bunker Hill location, where you will need to find and return these synthetics. Go there and meet with an ally. When you talk to him, the battle will begin. This will be a long and difficult battle. The Brotherhood of Steel will appear. Do your best to stay away, at a safe distance. Let synthetics do most of the work for you. The Brotherhood of Steel is a serious opponent, with a large army, including powerful captains and sergeants with machine guns and Gatling lasers. You will have to hit the strange character whenever possible.

After the battle comes to an end, on one side of the square you will find a red door to get into the camp. Inside, the battle will continue. Again, follow the same procedure as before. You will have to hit the strange character again when possible. Ultimately, you will have to talk to the Father again. Decide the fate of the four escaped synthetics and return to the Father. Now move to the computer terminal marked with a marker and use the codes received. Read the entries to find out what necessary item is located underground. Enter the elevator in the center of the main room and use it to go down below.

While you are moving down the elevator, you will be attacked by opponents. There is little cover here, so be prepared to use a lot of first aid kits. When you find yourself at the bottom, go into the room on the left side to find the key. Before using the key, exit the room and go to the right. Through a pile of garbage you can get into a room with a switch. Switch it to reactivate the elevator and collect loot. Use the key on the next room door and go inside to find a hole in the ground that allows you to enter the levels below.

While exploring the lower levels, take your time, collecting useful items and looking around. There are no important items, but there is a huge amount of ammunition and other things that may be interesting and necessary for you. When you're ready to continue, find the elevator located on the lowest level. Once you're there, Ellie will tell you that she'll wait for you while you explore the rooms.

You must enter the core. However, before you do this, go to the small room nearby and take away the radiation protection suit. The fact is that as soon as you enter the core, the radiation level will be equal to 20 rad/sec. Use the side passage and press the button to go inside. Wait for the cycle to finish.

Once you are inside the core, go to the main console and press the button. Take the agitator, which will lead to blocking. Destroy the turrets, and then leave this place the same way you came here. Click on the button. When you leave, the disinfection process will remove all the radiation from you, so you won’t have to use medications.

As soon as the door opens, you will encounter a security bot. He has a huge supply of health, and in itself it is quite large. Use any doors to keep your distance from him. After its destruction, you can leave the location. However, the Brotherhood of Steel attacks you again. Kill everyone, collect supplies and earn experience. When the area is cleared, move to the door marked on the map, which will lead you outside. Use fast travel to return to the Institute and talk to Ellie. This will complete this quest, simultaneously starting a new mission.

Quest “Call of Freedom” is a story-driven and at the same time “factional” quest in a post-apocalyptic game Fallout 4. In this quest, the Main Character saves a group of “Minutemen”, power armor, a tip to continue the search for his son, and the opportunity to establish a settlement in Sanctuary Hills.

Description of the story quest “Call of Freedom”

Optional task. Take the laser musket.

Description: Once in the Concord settlement, the main character will witness a raider attack on the Concord Museum building. While shooting the raiders, you need to get closer to the museum; once near the museum, the main character will hear a call for help, he will be told to take the laser musket from the ground and help stop the raider attack.

Exercise 1. Get to the museum.

Description: Having killed all the raiders at the entrance, you need to go into the museum. Once on the first floor, the main character will realize to his displeasure that all advantageous positions are occupied by raiders, and he needs to fight his way through them to find settlers.

Task 2. Find settlers.

Description: The path to the settlers lies through almost the entire museum building, and everywhere the main character will be resisted by raiders. Moving through the rubble and firing points of the raiders, go in the direction of the upper floor, it is there that the settlers have settled and are in dire need of your help. To avoid running twice when passing through the basement, remove the nuclear unit from the generator.

Description: In a conversation with Preston, the main character learns who the Minutemen are and how to repel this raider attack, because everyone wants to stay alive. It turns out that on the roof of the museum, there is a crashed rotorcraft, and in it there is thrown power armor, but unfortunately it does not have a nuclear unit, how good it is that on the way through the basement, the main character grabbed a nuclear unit. We say that we already have a universal nuclear unit, then the task “get a nuclear unit” immediately ends and the next one begins.

Task 4. Get a nuclear block.

If you didn't listen to our advice and didn't grab the nuclear unit along the way, you'll have to go back to the basement and then go up to the roof again.

Task 5. Insert a nuclear unit into the power armor.

Description: To do this, we make our way to the roof, to the crashed rotorcraft, and insert the nuclear unit into the power armor.

Task 6. Put on power armor.

Task 7. Take the minigun.

Description: We take the minigun from the rotorcraft mount.

Task 8. Clear Concord.

Description: Now, after the main character has donned power armor and taken a minigun, you can begin the final cleansing of the city. To do this, you can jump onto the street right from the roof and start spraying around you with a minigun. There will be two main goals for the main character, this is the leader of the bandits named Cartilage and, oddly enough, the death claw. This deadly beast will appear suddenly and with huge leaps, rush towards the main character, thank power armor and minigun, with the help of such weapons, it is not difficult to chop the death claw into small cabbage.

Task 9. Report to Preston.

Description: Having suppressed all pockets of resistance, we go back to the museum and report to Presten Garvey about the successful cleansing of Concord from all evil spirits. Preston will be delighted and advise you to continue the search for the protagonist’s son in the Diamond City location, and he and the surviving settlers will go to Sanctuary Hills. But this will not be the end of the “Call of Freedom” quest; the last task will be to return to Sanctuary and talk to Preston there. This quest starts part of the faction quests for the Minutemen in the Fallout 4 walkthrough.

Task 10. Talk to Preston Garvey in Sanctuary Hills.

Description: To complete the quest, we return back to Sanctuary. Preston is patrolling the street as always. We stop him and tell our story. Garvey will offer you to organize a settlement here, we agree. After a series of conversations, the quest “Call of Freedom” will be completed and the next quest “The First Step” will begin.

In the third part Fallout walkthroughs 4 we’ll tell you how to complete the “Call of Freedom” quest: from searching for settlers to clearing Concord in the new power armor. The previous part “Time is running out” is located.

When you first get to the Freedom Museum, a guy in a fancy hat on the balcony will shout something to you. After a short exchange of phrases, he will tell you to pick up a short laser musket from the ground and enter the museum.
Take the short laser musket (optional task).

Before entering the building, collect items from the corpses that lie at the intersection and pick up a laser musket near the sidewalk. After taking the weapon, go to the museum through the main door.

Search for trapped settlers

When you get into the building, you will need to find the settlers who have barricaded themselves in the museum somewhere on the upper floors. Unfortunately, armed raiders are blocking your path. This means that you will have to fight your way through them.

The first few raiders you encounter - they are on the level above - do not pose much of a threat. Quickly run up the steps (note the locked metal door ahead), turn right and follow through the doorway.

Walk along the corridor until you reach a room with mannequins. If you haven't already done so, now select the new laser musket from your Pip-Boy's inventory. Then head southeast into the next room. Go through the doorway opposite, turn left and deal with the raider hiding behind the wooden crates.

Now go through the door behind the crates and you will find yourself back in the main foyer. But now you are on the other side of that locked door you saw earlier. Go left and clockwise around the edge of the room, avoiding the collapsed floor in the center. When you reach the ticket office on the left, loot the contents of the toolbox.

Next, continue walking around the foyer until you reach the large central staircase. Climb it, and when you get to the top, quickly turn around. From here you will have a clear view of all the raiders above. Take them out with a couple of good shots, and use the pillars for cover if necessary.

Once the threat is eliminated, go through the open doors in the northeast, near the top steps. Turn left and enter the room with the wall paintings. Here you will come across two more opponents. Kill them and go through the hole in the brick wall to the northeast. Then turn left.

When you reach the stairs around the corner, go up to the next floor and carefully approach the first doorway on the right. Two raiders will be behind the wall. You need to sit down and quietly remove them. After completing the task, go through the door on the left and collect the items from the orange toolbox.

Return to the corridor, go through the door that the raiders used earlier, and go right along the balcony. There will be an open door ahead, right under the Exit sign. In this room you will find settlers. So hold your weapon!

Conversation with Preston Garvey

As soon as you enter the room, you will be greeted by Preston Garvey. You spoke to him earlier while you were outside.

Tell him you're happy to help, learn more about ghouls, and then let your new friend tell you about his plan. He will mention the old power armor that is on the roof of the museum. Tell him that you will be happy to help restore it. To end the conversation, agree to go to the basement and pick up the nuclear unit, which is necessary to charge the armor.

In the same room where Preston Garvey is located, you can raise “Perception” by one unit (by reading our walkthrough you will collect all the figurines).

You can reach the basement through the collapsed floor at the base of the main stairs. When you're ready to continue, head back to the lower level the same way you got here and find the locked gate below. Next, use your incredible abilities to hack the terminal to open the gate.

Take the nuclear block from the humming generator and return to Preston Garvey and his comrades. Next, follow the open door on the other side of the room (the one next to the perception doll) and turn left. Go to the far end of the destroyed balcony and go through the door on the right side, under the red Exit sign.

You will find yourself on the roof of the Freedom Museum. Approach the power armor and insert the nuclear block obtained in the basement into it.

Now that the power armor is charged, climb into it. But before you leave the roof, take the things from the toolbox and grab Michael Daly's holotape from the table. Then go to the helicopter wreckage and take the minigun.

Clearing Concorde of Enemies

With the minigun in your hands, go forward and stand on the edge of the roof. Look down the street. You will see that it is full of raiders. You need to use the minigun wisely to deal with all the enemies. Take advantage of your position and kill all the raiders below. Then go down to the first floor and go northwest along the street away from the museum. Kill all the raiders on the way and when you find yourself at the junction at the end of the street, get ready for the appearance of a huge dangerous death claw.

As soon as the monster appears, start shooting at it with the minigun. You'll be able to do a lot of damage before he gets to you. If the deathclaw chases you, keep your distance to start attacking again.

I'm playing for real high level difficulty "Survival", and to kill the Deathclaw I had to spend a full supply of ammo for the minigun. So for those playing on survival, it’s better to wait until the claw itself destroys the raiders, then lure it to some car and blow it up. A nearby explosion will knock Deathclaw away, knocking him unconscious for a short time. While he lies unconscious, you need to shoot him in the head, and when he comes to his senses, run to the store at the end of the street farthest from the Museum of Freedom: it is to the right of the car in the screenshot below:

From this house it is convenient to shoot the adversary: the death claw cannot go inside, it will only periodically throw debris at you.

Once the monster is defeated, kill the remaining enemies in the area (if any) and then return to the Freedom Museum.

Upon entering the museum, you will find Preston and his companions in the lobby on the lower floor. Approach him and start a dialogue. Check that everything is in order and accept the reward. Ask what they will do next. You learn that a group is planning to settle in yours. Agree to help them with this, and then talk to Mother Murphy.

When she says that your son Sean is still alive, try to clarify his whereabouts. She will explain to you that you should go to Diamond City and continue your search there. At this moment, the quest “Pearl of the Commonwealth” will appear in the journal. But you need to do a few more things before moving on.

Talk to Preston Garvey in Sanctuary

Finish the dialogue and leave the museum. Now return to Sanctuary and find Preston, he will be patrolling the streets, and talk to him.

Tell Preston that Sanctuary was your home. Explain to him that you lived here 200 years ago. After a discussion with other settlers, Preston will ask you to help organize a settlement in Sanctuary. Agree to this, and Preston will invite you to talk to Sturges, who will tell you how you can help.

When the conversation is over, the quest “The First Step” will appear in the journal, and the current “Call of Freedom” will be closed.

Conversation with Sturges

Before continuing your journey, visit Sturges in the yellow house on the right side of the road. It's right opposite your old house. Ask Sturges how you can help, and he'll explain that people really need beds. The Sanctuary quest will appear in your journal.

Please note that the weapon workbench, standard workshop and armor maintenance station in the courtyard will now be available for use.

It's worth spending a little time while you're near the station. To do this, you need to get out of the suit and repair each part individually using the junk you collected along the way.

It is worth keeping in mind that your power armor nuclear unit has discharged somewhat during the last battle. This means that soon the suit’s capabilities and speed will deteriorate. Since you don't have a spare nuclear unit yet, leave the armor here and continue your journey without it. At least until the next quest. Don't forget to go into the Pip-Boy and use the available skill points you earned for completing the quest.

If you noticed, in the screenshot above I have two power armor. You get one in the quest "Call of Freedom", and the other can be taken near Sanctuary, next to the crashed Vertibed, between the US Air Force satellite station "Olivia" and the cemetery of old robots. One of Preston's quests will take you there.

The route there from Sanctuary along the northern side of the lake is relatively safe. The armor is in very poor condition, without a nuclear unit, and with the owner at the left leg, but it will also come in handy.

In power armor without a nuclear unit, you can use fast movement, so you won’t have to walk slowly and for a long time to Sanctuary.
