Black Mountain. Passing Fire Core in Normal Mode Garr Walking Through Normal

Hello there again dShadow, today I will tell you about the decks that I used for the second part of the adventure Black Mountain... This time we go to Molten Core, where we will be confronted by three bosses:

Garr, Baron Geddon and Majordomo Executus.
In this article, I will jump straight to the description of the heroic boss fight strategy. The created decks do not contain cards with a rarity higher than "epic" (however, cards from the adventure of Naxxramas are used here), therefore, it will not be difficult to collect them.

Garr

The boss, as in normal mode, starts the battle with 7 Firestones, which will already deal 3 damage for each Firestone that dies this turn. The boss's ability remains the same - 1 damage to all creatures, but his health has changed, now Garr has 45 units.

To win, we need a deck that can add Silence to enemy Firestones. Priest is the best choice, as this class has the most effective and cheapest Silence cards.

If you cannot use Mass Dispel for 4 turns, restart the match, without this card you cannot win. Controlling this deck is simple enough: fry the Nerubian Eggs and Acolytes of Pain, defend yourself with Young Exorcist, and when the boss summons new Firestones, use Silence or Ironbeak on them. This deck is very effective against this boss, it won't take you a lot of trying to beat it.

Walkthrough video:

Baron Geddon

In heroic mode, this boss acquired impressive health, in total you have to inflict 100 damage on him, not taking into account his ability to increase armor using a map familiar to us from the battle with Emperor Taurisan - Fiery heart. Boss Ability - Ignite Mana, now deals 10 damage if we leave unspent mana.

To win, each turn we must use all the available mana, as well as cope with the huge number of Living Bombs that the boss will use on our creatures.

At the beginning of the game, we leave any cards that we can use on the first turn and early creatures.

The strategy is simple: on the first turn we use a card for 1 mana, on 2 - a hero's ability, on 3 - a card for 1 mana and a hero's ability or a card for 3 mana, and so on. At the same time, we try to save our creatures from death and do not let the opponent take the table. The fight is long enough, but if you manage to get an advantage at the beginning, this boss will not give you much trouble.

Walkthrough video:

Majordomo Executus

Last molten Core boss in heroic mode Summons minions 3/3 and has an additional 15 points of armor. But this is not the most important change from the normal regime. The most important thing is Ragnaros, who appears after defeating the Majordomo, he already has 30 health and 30 armor, and his ability to deal 8 damage to a random enemy character does it twice. A fight with such an opponent is clearly not worth delaying.

The third time we turn to the priest for help, cards of this class are best suited for defeating the lord of fire. Walkthrough video:

Molten Core turned out to be less fun (where did these fire elementals go before the Dark Iron Dwarf), but the developers showed some interesting mechanics against which it would be interesting to come up with special decks.

That's all, I wish you the best of luck with inventing decks with new cards and see you at Blackrock Peak next week.

Consists of 17 bosses, each of which turns out to be a very dangerous enemy in Heroic Difficulty. GmbH is in a hurry to help: we will tell you which decks will help you cope with them. Note that because of the notorious "randomness", even with the most expensive legendary cards, each boss can take away a lot of attempts; the approximate travel time for one wing will be from an hour to two. Go!

First Wing - Blackrock Depths

"Gloomy glutton"

Heroic difficulty Koren Khudovar at the beginning of each of its turns, draws and puts on the table three random creatures (two from your deck, one from yours). The tactics against him are simple: you need to build a deck so that it contains only the most powerful minions from your collection, and without the class abilities " battle cry»(They do not work when laying out a card directly from the deck). Also, do not forget about cheap spells that will help to cope with the overcoming forces of the opponent - for example, about the druidic " Close to nature". After that, it only takes a little luck. And if Koren, on the very first move, draws two “ Power tank”, It will be easier to start the battle again.

Dark Iron Arena

Heroic difficulty Judge Grimstone owns stronger cards, starts the match with four mana crystals and calls for help for free every turn Dark Iron Spectator"- creature 1/1 with" provocation". It can be defeated relatively easily by a mage who specializes in surviving and freezing enemy minions. One of the most important cards will be “ Mental technician", Which will help you drag a couple of powerful enemy creatures to your side (if you're lucky). I must say that the factor of luck plays a more important role here than in the first battle, and you will probably have to play against Grimstone more than once or twice.

On the left is the optimal deck for winning the Black Iron Arena, on the right is a deck almost entirely composed of base maps ("Mental Technician", alas, is extremely necessary - you will have to spend 200 units of dust to create it). In both cases, a magician is used - a very strong class, which in this battle shows all its power.

(click on the dotted line)

Emperor Thaurissan

Expectedly the most difficult and "random" boss of the first three. Heroic: Thaurissan's Wife Moira Bronzebeard has characteristics of 3/1 and can die from any spit in his direction; while the emperor himself uses cards like “ Abominations», « Death bite"And" Unstable Ghoul". It will not work to close off enemy attacks with cards with "provocation" - then Moira will attack them, and after her death the emperor will kill you with his hero ability (30 damage for two mana (!), Available only if Thaurissan's wife died). We'll have to cheat! The most important card in this battle will be “ Mad Alchemist", With the help of which Moira's characteristics must be swapped already on the second turn - it will be somehow possible to keep her alive with 1/3 characteristics. If the "Mad Alchemist" did not come to your hand on the first or second turn, it is better to start over. Naturally, to heal Moira, you will have to use a priest in this battle - it is much more difficult to defeat Thaurissan with other classes. You will also need a lot of cards to heal yourself, destroy enemy creatures, and - of course! - two "Silences"so that "Abominations" and Volatile Ghouls did not cause damage upon death to all creatures on the field.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Thaurissan, on the right is a deck made up almost entirely of base cards (you simply cannot do without two copies of The Mad Alchemist). Note that in the first case, the combo from " Inner fire"And" Divine spirit"- with a successful combination of circumstances, it will help you win quickly and beautifully.

Second wing - Molten Core

Garr

Heroic difficulty Garr has 45 health points and starts the battle with seven 0/5 minions " Firestone”, But upon death, they deal three damage at once for each similar minion that died during the current turn. Yes, this means that if they all explode at once, then your hero will receive 147 damage - only Jaina's secret called “ Ice block". But there is no point in playing as a magician - it is much easier to pacify an elemental with a priest. This will be especially helpful " Circle of healing», « Dumbness», « Light of the Naaru», « Cleric of Northshire"And" Mass dispersal"(!). The best start is that on the first turn you place the "Cleric" on the table, and on the second you play the "Circle of Healing" and get a full hand of cards, which will make the further part of the battle a matter of technique.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Garr, on the right is a deck almost entirely made up of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Baron Geddon

A desperately difficult and incredibly random boss - much more difficult than any other in the first two wings " Black Mountain". Heroic difficulty Geddon has 50 units of health and 50 units of armor, and every time you could not spend all your mana on your turn, he will inflict 10 units of damage on your hero with the ability " Ignite mana". Also adds complexity to the already bullying boss " Living bomb"- if you cannot get rid of this debuff on your minion (you can somehow kill it, you can silence it) until the next boss turn, then it will explode and inflict the same 10 units of damage on all your creatures and hero.

In general, it will be tight. Most likely, you will spend at least an hour on Geddon, and each move will be torture. You will have to carefully weigh your chances (will you be able to spend all the mana if ..?) And take ineffective steps (for example, kill your own minions with your cards - just so as not to die by pressing the "End turn" button).

You need to play as a warlock - only he can get enough cards from his deck in a battle to somehow cope with Ignite Mana. More precisely, you will have to play a warlock with a deck filled with demons, since they all complement each other very well, and their cost varies from 1 unit of mana to 9. And yes, it is very necessary " Alexstrasza"(Well, at least it is generally allowed to use it here) - a one-time reduction in Geddon's health from 50 to 15 points will help a lot.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Geddon, on the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Majordomo Executus / Ragnaros the Firelord

A surprisingly easy boss if you know what you're doing and are even a little lucky. The battle consists of two phases: the first must be won Majordomo Executus (30 units of health, 15 units of armor, for 2 units of mana it can summon unremarkable creatures with characteristics 3/3), and in the second - after the death of Executus - Ragnaros (30 units of health, 30 units of armor, for 2 mana twice (!) Deals 8 damage to a random enemy character).

The main problem with the boss is that he is in huge amount uses cards " Fire giant"- there are at least six of them in his deck. You just need to play, knowing that you cannot lower the health level of Executus and Ragnaros below 20 points, so that they do not flood the table with these very giants.

The paladin is ideal for this boss - this class easily fills its half of the playing field with small but numerous creatures, and is capable of dealing unexpectedly large amounts of damage in one move. The main cards here - " Call to battle», « Seal of kings», « Blessing of power», « Emperor Thaurissan», « Kel'Thuzad"And, of course," Tyrion Fordring».

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Executus and Ragnaros, on the right is a deck made up entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Third wing - "Black Mountain Peak"

Chieftain Omokk

The first boss of the third wing of Blackrock was pretty easy. On Heroic Difficulty, his ability destroys a random enemy creature and is automatically applied at the start of each turn. To counteract such simple mechanics is simple - use a lot of small creatures, the loss of which will not be a tragedy. Best class to defeat this boss - a paladin, which is very helpful cards " Call to battle"(Summons three minions with the characteristics of 1/1 to your side of the field) and" Divine grace"(It will help you not to be left without cards in your hand, because you will have to play them all at once). You can hardly pay attention to the creatures of Omokka, attack the boss himself from the first moves.

On the left is the optimal deck to defeat Omokk. On the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards (three cards are taken from Curse of Naxxramas, and you should already have them - there is no point in buying Blackrock Mountain first).

(click on the dotted line)

General Drakissat

Another furiously difficult boss, to defeat which you will have to replay the battle more than once and hope that the necessary cards will come into your hand. His passive ability " Gaze»Makes the cost of all creatures and spells equal to 1 unit of mana, but at the same time limits you to one card played per turn. In normal mode Drakissat plays by the rules and is also limited to one card, but in heroic mode it gets 2 units of mana at its disposal. Moreover, his deck consists almost entirely of powerful spells to kill your creatures and legendary minions. In general, you will have to compose your deck so that each card in it is as weighty as possible and, in theory, capable of carrying two or even three enemy cards into the grave of cards. We recommend using the paladin again - his " Tyrion Fordring"And" Tooth"Are very good in this fight. The best start of the battle will be “ Alexstrasza"- so Drakissat will immediately drop from 50 units of health to 15 units. After her, it would be nice to play “ Sylvanas Windrunner" or " Cal "Tuzada».

On the left is the optimal deck to defeat Drakissat. On the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Rand Blackhand

Slightly less challenging than Drakissat, but still a rather formidable final boss of the wing. Blackhand's ability changes after each use, and in heroic mode can summon a) three 2/2 dragons; b) two 2/2 orcs with the ability " Defender"; c) one 5/4 draconid; d) 8/8 dragon. This allows Blackhand to seize control of the field from the very first moves, and you will have to defend yourself in all ways until the very end of the battle. There is a good hunter here - his " Explosion trap"In combination with" Mad scientist"Will significantly thin the ranks of the enemy's creatures, and powerful" Take command"And" Pull the dogs"Will allow you to have time to kill Blackhand before he kills you. Replaying the battle, however, will still take a long time.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Blackhand. On the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

The fourth wing - "Lair of the Blackwing"

Razordeath

The first boss of the penultimate wing " Black Mountain”Turned out to be a weakling even in heroic mode. Yes, here he starts the fight with " Corrupted Egg»0/3 in his own half of the field, and a dragon with characteristics 7/7 hatches from such an egg. But almost any fast deck can calmly take over the field and deal with these eggs every move. In general, use a regular warlock with its inexpensive " zoo”, And no problems should arise.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Razordeath. On the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Valestrasz

Valestrasz in Heroic Difficulty, each turn forces both heroes to draw three cards from the deck and gains an additional mana crystal. It’s easy to calculate that without treatment and additional tricks, by the turn of the tenth you will be dead by default. You have to be cunning and use a special version of the so-called mill-druid, which specializes in burning your opponent's cards and quickly playing a bunch of cards from your hand. They will help a lot " Close to nature», « Wild growth"And" Gift of nature", And you must make the final dash with a double" Wild roar"And numerous small minions that were prepared in advance. Keep in mind that the fight is not easy, and you will have to replay it several times, at least due to bad luck with the starting hand.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Vaelastrasz. On the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Chromaggus

In heroic difficulty, malicious cards Chromaggus, with which he stuffs your hand every turn, cost 3 mana and are stronger - for example, heal him every turn for 6 points of health. But dealing with him is quite simple if you use the druid deck presented below. If you're lucky, Chromaggus will run out of cards very quickly, and the spells with which he filled your hand will not help him in any way, but your creatures (for example, "Twilight Dragon") will only benefit from them. Very beneficial in this battle is the combination of "Kel" Tuzad "and" Sylvanas Windrunner "- with their help you can easily establish control over the field, and the path to victory will be paved with a reliable one.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Chromaggus. On the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Lord Victor Nefarius

A frighteningly difficult boss at first glance. Heroic difficulty Nefarian gets 30 units of health and 50 units of armor, and also from the second turn has 10 units of mana and just throws you powerful creatures. Besides, Ragnaros will help you in this battle only once, by adding one of his free cards to your hand on the third turn, after which Nefarian tartly remarks that in Heroic difficulty "this will not work." In general, you cannot rely on Ragnaros here, you have to dodge yourself. Dodging with some luck can be quite easy if you use another option (only much slower) mill-druid. Your task in this battle is to make sure that best cards Nefarian was burned to death, leaving only useless class spells like “ Bite". You must live until the middle of the game with " Insights», « Doom messengers"And" Mental technique", And then use heavy artillery in the form of" Volcanic Ancient», « Malorna"And" Chromaggus».

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Nefarius. On the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Fifth wing - "Secret Laboratory"

Omnitron protective system

In heroic mode, the Omnitron has 30 health and 15 armor, and its hero power summons robots much faster - on the first, second, fourth, and sixth turns. The first robot gives you and your opponent 2 spell power, the second at the start of each turn " Omnitron»Deals 1 unit of damage to all creatures, the third makes all spells cheaper by 3 units of mana, and the second deals 2 units of damage for each card played. We are interested in the third robot - " Electron». Best deck in this battle - a deck of a magician who freezes opponents and survives exactly until the moment when he puts on the table " Archmage Antonidas" from " The sorcerer's apprentice"And in one move throws the boss free" Fireballs ". A little luck will come in handy, but the victory should come on the first or second attempt.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating the Omnitron, on the right is a deck made entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Maloriak

Hardest Wing Boss. Maloriak can already on the first turn summon three "Aberrations" with characteristics 3/3 (in heroic mode, he not only swaps the health and attack indicators of all creatures, but also improves his minions by + 2 / + 2) and the ability " Dash". If he did this, it will be easier to surrender and start over - continuing the battle with 21 health units already on the second turn will be insanely difficult. An excellent deck against Maloriac is the Rogue deck - his " Backstab», « Daze"And" Gutting"Will allow you to somehow remove the enemy's creatures from the table, and" Sprint»Will save you when you inevitably run out of cards. The main "work" will be done by " Fire giants"In combination with" Intercessor sin dorai". In addition, Maloriak uses secrets that will be great to play against. The mystics of Kezan". It can take a lot of attempts to kill this boss, but do not despair - it will be easier further.

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Maloriak, on the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Atramed

The difficulty of this boss lies in the fact that it is impossible to get the "Acid Ooze" out of the deck at the right time, you have to rely on luck. In Heroic Difficulty, you are not given any special cards to destroy weapons Atrameda, which gains +1 Attack after every card you play, so you have to play very carefully. Your best bet is to try to deal with it with a synergy-based priest deck. " Power Words: Shield», « Divine spirit», « Velen's Chosen One"And" Inner fire". Take your time to play all the cards in a row, get ready for the pivotal turn of the battle when you have played all of the above and immediately after that destroy Atramed's weapon. Until then, defend yourself with powerful creatures with the ability " Provocation» — « Lords of Death», « Shield-bearer Sen Jin"And" Slime Belcher».

On the left is the optimal deck for defeating Atramed, on the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards.

(click on the dotted line)

Nefarian

Heroic difficulty Nefarian gets 30 units of health and 30 units of armor, and when the player copes with his armor, calls instead of himself Onyxia with 30 points of health and begins to inflict gradually increasing damage every turn. We don't want to have any business with Onyxia and her clawed paws, so we use a priest deck with the same synergy as in the case of Atramed. The best scenario is that you somehow survive until turn 8 with a couple of creatures on the table (you just have to be one of them, and then you spread “ Cal "Tuzada", And then wait for the combo cards to come into your hand. The wait may take a long time, but in the end, Nefarian will die from just one hit, and at the same time you will be able to celebrate the victory over all the heroic bosses " Black Mountain"And admire the new back for your cards. Congratulations!

On the left is the optimal deck to defeat Nefarian, on the right is a deck made up almost entirely of free cards.

Hearthstone is one of the most popular card games today computer games, which overshadowed even the legendary Magic: The Gathering. Here you need to form your own card decks, consisting of creatures of various powers, various spells, and so on. You can either fight with friends and people on the Internet, or go through a story campaign. One of the most difficult sections is the Black Mountain. And this article will cover full walkthrough "Black Mountain". Hearthstone is an exciting project, and even this element will give you a lot of pleasant experiences. But only if you can make a competent deck and dispose of it correctly. In total, at this stage you will have to fight 17 bosses to successfully complete the passage of "Blackrock". Hearthstone is not the easiest game to learn, so this guide will come in handy.

Koren

How you build your deck will determine your completion of Blackrock Mountain. Hearthstone is a game that makes you think, and already the first boss will let you know. He acts quite interestingly - at the beginning of each turn, Koren draws two random creatures from his deck, and one from your deck, thus creating an advantage for himself. Your chance is to create a deck exclusively from the strongest creatures, as well as dilute them with spells that will help you cope with the superior forces of your opponent.

Judge Grimstone

If you can cope with the first boss quite easily with the correct formation of the deck, then already on the second you may get stuck in the passage of "Blackrock". Hearthstone does not spare its players, so Grimstone at the start has four mana crystals at once, and before each turn it has a guard with minimal attack and defense, which distracts damage to itself. Here you will have to rely more on magic, as well as on luck, without which it will not be easy.

Emperor Thaurissan

What is the next step in store for you? Hearthstone deck should always be selected individually for each boss - for example, the third boss is one of the strongest in the campaign, since next to him is his wife with a unit of health. As soon as she dies, the boss becomes many times stronger and is able to kill you with one hit. Therefore, the key card here is the one that can swap the stats of damage and protection to the wife.

Garr

The passage of "Blackrock: Hearthstone" on normal difficulty is already causing difficulties, for more high levels everything will turn into a real nightmare, so until you have collected very strong cards and have not learned how to use them, go to new level complexity is not recommended. You won't even be able to defeat Garr, because on normal difficulty he has 45 health units and starts with seven creatures at once, which, upon death, inflict three points of damage on everyone for each dead creature of this type.

Geddon

How is the passage of "Blackrock: Hearthstone" going further? Heroic mode confronts you with a dark baron, who not only has incredible vitality and armor, but also deals you ten points of damage each turn when you are not spending all your mana, but trying to save it. Therefore, you will have to use less powerful cards that could be spent in one move, that is, crush with quantity, not quality - and the hero Warlock will help you most of all in this.

Executus

Completing Blackrock: Hearthstone with basic decks is possible, but very difficult - as mentioned above, you'd better build the decks yourself. And at the same time, understand the features of the opponent's deck - for example, Executus, when health falls below 20 units, summons a fire giant to the table, so you will need to kill him immediately, avoiding a situation in which the boss will receive a lot of damage, but will not die.

Omokk

As you already understood, the passage of "Blackrock: Hearthstone" on heroic mode is not an easy task. And each time you face more and more difficult bosses. For example, Omokk at the beginning of each of its turns destroys a random player's creature from the table. You can cope with this by summoning a large number of small creatures - and, of course, with magical support, because otherwise the small creatures will not be enough to defeat the boss.

Drakissat

Drakissat is the next general you'll be faced with in Blackrock: Hearthstone. Heroic ". The basic level of difficulty will provide an easier passage, but in any case, this boss will be quite difficult for everyone. The difficulty of the boss lies in the fact that all creatures are equal in price to one unit of mana - even the most powerful of them. However, you can only play one card from your hand per turn, which significantly narrows your options.

Rend

As for this boss, you may have problems with him due to the fact that in each turn he can use various skills - they are all focused on summoning, and not all the creatures he summons are strong. But what a dragon that Rend can summon every four turns is worth - he has 8 attacks and 8 defense, so he is strong enough. You need abilities that are good at helping you deal with a large number of creatures in the enemy.

Razordeath

This boss is dangerous in that he has 3 eggs on the field, which after a while hatch into rather strong dragons. You can cope with them by collecting a fairly fast deck, that is, it should include cards that you can instantly play, and not accumulate mana on them every time. So you can get rid of the eggs before they turn into full-fledged dragons, thereby depriving the boss of his main weapon.

Valestrasz

The confrontation with this boss should also in no case be delayed, because each turn he receives a bonus unit of mana, which, under the current conditions, will give him an impressive advantage after a dozen moves. What are the circumstances? The fact is that in a battle with him you will receive three instead of one card for each turn - but the boss will receive the same thing. So you need to be able to remove cards from your opponent's hand, and also play a large number of your cards in one move.

Chromaggus

This boss has a very unpleasant habit - he constantly throws cards negative for you and positive for him from his own deck into your hands. Therefore, your task is to quickly seize control of the field, as well as use those creatures that can also benefit from negative spells, for example,

Victor Nefariy

The strength of this boss lies in the fact that he is full of a wide variety of powerful creatures with which he will shower you from the very beginning, because by the second turn he will have access to as many as ten units of mana. So, again, you need to rely on the destruction of cards from the opponent's hand, as well as the fact that you can reach enough until the moment when you have a decent amount of mana to summon powerful creatures.

Omnitron

This protective system summons rather unusual robots, each of which has its own properties. Three out of four robots are not very pleasant, and they just need to be somehow experienced, but one of them is your salvation. After all, he makes the cost of all spells lower by three units of mana. Thus, you need to rely on spells, the most important of which should be freezing - you just need it to come to you before the sixth turn.

Maloriak

Many gamers believe that this boss is the most difficult in the entire campaign, and there are reasons for this. Firstly, he can quite often summon very good fighters with three units of attack and defense. Secondly, he can increase their attack and defense by two units, and he can do this not only for these bonus minions, but for all his creatures in principle. And thirdly, he can change the defense and attack of any creature, so you will have to try very hard to deal with him. Therefore, concentrate on those cards that can remove creatures from the table from the enemy and quickly restore the supply of cards in your hand.

Antramed

This boss is also quite difficult, but its difficulty is one-sided - it has a special weapon that acts as a half-hero-half-minion. And each card you play gives this creature an additional attack point. In general, you will have to fight with all your might with this weapon, gradually undermining it and sacrificing your weak creatures, so that after the bonus is destroyed it is much easier to deal with the boss himself.

Nefarian

Well, the last boss, which ends the passage of "Blackrock: Hearthstone" - Nefarian. This boss is very cunning - as soon as you destroy all of his armor, he will call on another heroine instead, who will have a good health reserve and cause serious damage, which increases during each turn. This will not be easy to deal with, so it’s best not to lead to such a challenge. Just save up cards, think over effective combinations, and when the opportunity arises, use them in such a way as to immediately remove both armor and health (for this, you can sharpen your armor in advance).

Molten Core, the second wing of Blackrock Mountain, opened earlier this week. Fearless adventurers clashed with Garr, Baron Geddon, Major Executus and Ragnaros. Which deck to choose for each boss and how to fight them? We will explain in this guide.

Garr

Remember those dark patrons that appeared in the last wing? They will be useful against Garr. You will have to fight with a deck consisting almost entirely of firestones. When Firestone dies, it deals 1 damage to you for each Firestone that died during the last turn.

Well, yes, Garr's heroic ability is Magma Ripple. On top of this, he summons three new fire stones if they are not on the board. If you don't feel like playing against Garr as a warrior, then I would recommend a priest deck. The main components will be "Circle of Healing" and "Mass Dispelling".

The Druid of Flame will become available immediately after Garr is overthrown. The flexibility a druid grants - having a meaty 2/5 creature, or a 5/2 damage cannon may seem attractive at first, but in the end this druid will be useless compared to other cards that cost the same mana. No owner of a Druidic deck wants to have one in their main deck.

Baron Geddon

The baron's heroic ability will force you to use mana quickly and efficiently, or else you will take a lot of damage from Ignite mana. The warlock deck led by Mal "Ganis will greatly simplify the passage of this boss. Also, other cards that can cover you will help against the heroic ability of the baron in those moments when you cannot use all the mana.

The Baron's reward is the Blackwing Technician. This card is useless right now, as most of the cards needed to complete a deck of this style are not available because the other wings of Blackrock are still covered.

Majordomo Executus and Ragnaros

The final boss of the wing is the Majorord. His heroic ability? She is called the Majordomo and summons 1/3 of the Pyro Acolytes on Normal difficulty. Once you deal with the major domo, the game is not over. Ragnaros will be summoned and will immediately take his place. Ragnaros has 8 health and 8 armor, so you need 16 damage.

Defeating the Majordomo Executus and Ragnaros will give access to legendary map, which has a very interesting deathrattle that transforms you into a Ragnaros with 8 health and a heroic ability that deals 8 damage to a random enemy target.

I would not recommend using it in a competitive deck. When I see an opponent throwing a majordomo on the board, I fully focus on him in order to quickly cut the opponent's health to 8, turning him into Ragnaros, and then to zero.

Garr is the first boss of Molten Core (second wing of the Blackrock adventure). This guide will show you what cheap decks you can use to defeat this boss in Normal and Heroic difficulty.

Hero Power - Ripple of Magma. In both normal and heroic modes, this hero power deals 1 point of damage to all creatures on the board. Using hero power costs Garr 1 mana crystal and occurs automatically at the beginning of each turn.

Decks to complete

Strategy

The key point of this confrontation is the fire stones. At the start of each turn, Garr uses his Magma Ripple hero power, dealing one point of damage to all creatures. When a firestone dies, its ability is triggered, which deals damage equal to the number of firestones killed on this turn (in Heroic mode, the damage is multiplied by 3). It follows from this that you need to try to either avoid triggering the death rattle of fire stones, or destroy them during different turns. For example, if five firestones are killed separately (one stone per turn), then their death rattle will deal only 5 points of damage (15 in heroic mode). And if five stones are destroyed at the same time, they will cause a total damage equal to 25 points (in Heroic mode - 75). Keep in mind that if stones are destroyed during one turn, but at different moments, each subsequent one will take into account the number of stones killed during the turn. In this regard, it would be unreasonable to try to destroy the fire stones in one turn.

In normal mode, Garr can be defeated in a fairly straightforward manner, simply by destroying the Firestones from the very beginning. At the same time, you need to try so that they do not die during the same turn and do not cause significant damage to your hero. Any deck with a large number of creatures available early in the game can do this. After that, you just need to focus on maintaining control of the board, making reasonable trades and keeping in mind the impact of Garr's hero power at the start of each turn.

In Heroic mode, things are much more complicated, since in the event of a synchronized death, the fire stones can cause colossal damage. Try to avoid these situations by neutralizing the firestone death rattle. For this purpose, cards such as.

In the confrontation with Garr, such cards will be effective as, which, when there are 7 creatures with the ability on the board, will turn into a real monster, and, and, for which taking damage is always desirable.

Garr walkthrough with a priest deck

A simple example of a deck that can be used to defeat Garr is a deck that aims to prevent firestone damage. The key cards in this deck will be spells and. It is advisable to have at least one of these cards in your hand at the very beginning of the game. This is especially true for the Circle of Healing card.

If you manage to keep all 7 stones alive on the board, you will not only neutralize their deathrattle ability, but also prevent Garr from playing other creatures. This boss does not have his own tools to destroy the fire stones he has, however, at the same time, he can force them to carry out attacks using cards, and. By healing Garr's Flamestones and keeping his half-board full, you will prevent the boss from using most of his cards. If you are a little lucky, then you will completely fill his hand, and the new cards he draws will simply burn out.

Your main goal will be to preserve the life of the fire stones with the help of a map and / or with the help of other healing tools. Since the power of Garr's hero deals 1 point of damage to creatures, you will need the Circle of Healing card on the 5th and 9th turns. Priest Hero Power Lesser Healing by itself is not able to keep firestones alive, but it can be effective when combined with a card. Healing is the ideal tactic as Garr's play gets stuck on a full board. It is extremely effective to use a card that will neutralize the death rattle of firestones. The disadvantage of this strategy is that the boss will start filling the board with other creatures and will try to play a card to summon additional firestones. If you are unable to heal or cast Firestones on them, try to spread their destruction over different turns in order to reduce the deathrattle damage taken from their ability. If the priest manages to build up enough power on the board, while healing firestones and keeping them on the board, he will be able to destroy Garr in just a few moves using the abilities of cards such as.
