Before us is the long-awaited (or, on the contrary - unexpected, for anyone else) continuation of the Red Faction series of games, the highlight of which has always been destruction in any form. The third part was no exception, armed with a huge miner's hammer, a dozen or so remote mines, the makings of a plot and gameplay, and appeared to the public.

I must say right away that the gameplay gets bored literally after two hours of the game, so do not get too thin on side missions, follow the story missions, not forgetting, of course, to destroy the most monumental buildings along the way. And yes - choose the easy difficulty level. It won't be more interesting to play on average or, God forbid, it will not become more difficult, but you will have time to complete the game just before the onset of gagging. No matter how bad the plot is, finding out how it all ends is probably still worth it. Otherwise, why then move along the plot at all? Destroy everything that can be of artificial origin at the first location to the ground, and then delete the game. There will be almost no difference.

Weapon. Scrap metal, which acts as money in the game, is not so much, so it will probably not be superfluous to describe the optimal, in my opinion, scheme for buying and pumping weapons. First, upgrades such as armor, increased wearable stock, teleportation, jetpack and others are worth buying in the first place. they are relatively inexpensive and make the gameplay much easier. Secondly, we select a rifle from a weapon, then a welding machine (instead of a pistol, if you have picked it up), then a nanowire instead of the usual one (to gain access to a nanofusion, buy an upgrade for the nanofusion when it becomes available). After the purchase, try to pump the weapon to the maximum as soon as possible, the only exception can be a welding machine, for which the “friend or foe” recognition system is not worth the money.

The system for capturing sectors is simple: lower the authority of the POPs, destroy buildings, complete story missions. The low impact of POPs is a tolerance for later missions in this sector. To complete the last task in the sector, the influence of POPs must be 0 (zero).

After the introductory video, go downstairs, break through the fence, climb the hill to the left and, having set mines (or with a hammer), destroy first the tower, and then the building next to it. Here you can replenish ammunition (locker in the hangar), select a weapon from the available one and place it in an empty slot, or in a slot instead of any other weapon, buy new weapons, upgrades for it, or increase wearable ammunition (pay with scrap metal, so collect it, don't be lazy).

Drive to the indicated address and destroy the old partisan base. Along the walls around you can see cans, barrels of fuel and a large tank. Shoot them, and then use explosives or a hammer to finish what the blast wave did not finish. Shoot the arrived SDP soldiers, collect scrap metal and return to the base.

After completing the task, I advise you to walk a little through side missions, raise some money, reduce the influence of POPs in this sector, knock down large structures, such as pipes of a processing plant and other buildings of POPs. The command of the red brigades decided it was time to make the Oasis sector free from POPs. The latter opposed this decision with tanks, and it is up to us to rake it all, as always.

After arriving at the scene, you will be shown tanks, which will be in groups of one, maximum two, coming from the north and from the south. Your task is to destroy them, if possible, before approaching the city on the hill. To destroy them is simple - we run around him and throw six mines at him, since they stick to any surface, including soldiers, so you don't need to aim too much. After six mines are on the tank - press the button, and one combat vehicle will be less. Ammunition cabinets are scattered across the buildings in abundance, so there will be no shortage of mines. Dogs of war

Quite an interesting mission, considering that we now have a rocket pack - this introduces some non-linearity into the mission, increasing the number of options for passing. You need to destroy the snipers who are firing in vain at the civilian population rushing down the street.

Problems with the first two buildings should not arise - we choose one of the two, go up to the upper floor, after which, having made a hole in the roof, we fly upstairs on the knapsack. Now you have to get to the second group of buildings. On the way, you will meet many enemy detachments, so when leaving, stock up on cartridges for the welding machine. Several snipers can be destroyed without even entering buildings - they are visible on the roof and in the windows. However, two will have to be capitalized in close combat. All this time, detachments of EDF will revolve around you, which now have a shield in their equipment that does not save them a single gram from death. When the last sniper falls, the mission can be considered complete.

This mission is generally as simple as a door.
